@@eagle3371 actually.. if you consider the fact that my man in the r34 cant shift properly then you will know that for sure the guy in the r33 can sleep on the seat but he never misses a gear or let the foot out of the gas pedal. Actually you can hear how he loses the race by not shifting on time. Yeah its not my car and I don't drive it but hew get better over practice. When you are in a head of the race just shift on time , don't race over the maximum of the usage of the rpm but of the car behavior on the road. Great video psm

The driver in the 33 needs a cushion and a tiny mattress to fit his driving style. Watching the intro, I seriously thought Ricky in his 33 was mocking ricer boys and FnF movies drivers' racing styles with his awkward moves while shifting and the silly stance, weird driving position and facial expressions. Affi is one crazy driver. Hats off to all three JDM beasts. Sad that Jabz' 32's transfer box gave way but the way 34 literally came back from the dead after the engine caught fire earned my respect. Affi's zero panic, fulltime chill and sheer competitive spirit had already won me over but winning the second drag race with a 230hp handicap and a manual transmission against a 1000hp setup and a sequential gearbox just showed how much boost he had coursing through his veins, especially after the fiery setback. Affi is a damn legend…….first of all he had less hp, also had a traditional H pattern manual gearbox and still went head to head with cars that had over 270 hp more and sequential gearboxes………..

Affi is just plain simple wired with fast responses. It's not all about WOT and gear crunching. Affi is reacting to the feel changing slightly before top rev. The big powered cars should have short shifted at the lower speeds and catch affi by the line. You can hear the r33 bounce the rev limiter. I think affi also hit the limiter a couple of times. Don't quote me. Am blind deaf and flipping dumb

Affi made a BIG mistake. He opened bonnet and waited like that. He let more O² to the fire. You should keep it closed and fight with fire later.

This is the one of the craziest shit i have ever seen. Makes me hold these Japanese legends to an even higher level. Much respect to these guys for spending all this money / time and driving them like they stole it. That r34 + driver 🙏
