Misa actually gained all the life that the death god who saved her had saved up, so between Rem and the small death god, Misa actually still has an above average life expectancy after two death god eye deals.
more importantly the trade is for half of the users "remaining" life span. she was 20 so if she was expected to live to 84 she had 64 years. then 32, then after the seconds deal 16 years. she'd have to do the trade seven times to be left with months to live.

Misa will outlive everyone... when the shinigami saved her, she got all his lifespan on top of his death note.... halving her life, even twice, won't matter, she'll likely still have hundreds of years left.
@@spears-5789 well... how much years do you think the Shinigami had before Misa got his lifespan? This is why I used the word "likely".... she could very well have thousands of years of life... we don't know for sure because we don't know how long the shinigami would've lived for.
Right…but she killed herself by writing her name on a page torn out from light’s death note in Death Note: Light up the new world (takes place 10 years after DN2)
Ok so to summarize death note 2: A schoolboy was given a book to kill anyone and pulls off big brain moves against a detective hopped up on a high caloric diet and thinking in the 10th dimension
Thats death note 1 Death note 2 is more like: This random tv stat girl also gets a magic book but pulls off small brain moves but manages to kill the detective together. Nevermind the detective pulled a 69420iq move and the schoolboy gets killed
The thing about the lifespan: Misa's lifespan would have been over in the night of her murder. By preventing her death the shinigami transferred all his remaining life span to hers. (Which is why she didn't die dispite having no more life span and why the shinigami turned to ash). Since we don't know how much lifespan was transferred it's impossible to know how much time Misa has left after cutting it to 25%. (The eye deal also takes 50% of the remaining time not of the entire life)
My fav part of the show was when light made a plan to forget his memories but have the other shinigamis reveal the death note to regain his memories man that was smart
Little known fact: Misa's time of natural death was at the time she was about to be stabbed by her stalker. So how can she be alive? Well, in the off chance a Shinigami helps a doomed human, the Shinigami dies and *gives their years to the human*. Not only Misa had Jelous' years, but also Rem's who dies for her later. We don't know how many years Jelous had, nor Rem, maybe they were about to run out, maybe they're in thousands. However this doesn't matter very much...
@@supergvmaster5416 Yes! While we don't know how long a lifespan both of the now dead Shinigamis would have had, we can see in most situations, Misa lives longer than she would have after taking both deals than she did before. Let's imagine Rem had 100 years and Jelous had 100 years, and ignore the time passed during the story. Jelous dies saving Misa, Misa gets 100 years of life (We'll ignore any time she had before Jelous saved her, since she was just about to die and basically had 0). Misa pays for the Shinigami eyes from Rem. She now has 50 years of life, and Rem has 150 years stored. Misa loses her memory and powers. Misa pays for the Shinigami eyes from Ryuk. She now has 25 years of life, with 25 years paid to Ryuk. (Ryuk's lifespan is not relevant here) Rem dies saving Misa, Misa gets 150 years of life. Misa now has 175 years of life. Misa went from 100 years of life to 175 years of life as a result. Basically, Misa only loses out on 1/4 of Jelous' lifespan to Ryuk, the rest she either kept (1/4) or was returned to her from Rem (1/2). This means so long as Rem's own lifespan was larger than 1/4 of Jelous' lifespan, Misa comes out ahead of where she started before the eye deals.
Right…but she killed herself by writing her name on a page torn out from light’s death note in Death Note: Light up the new world (takes place 10 years after DN2)
"It was all part of his plan" "he just made a big mistake" "okay, if i was him I would.." "now this changes the whole game" u know it's good when u hear these lines
“To beat your enemy you become your enemy” Kinda reminds me of a video that the enemy is like “he is my enemy, but he is my friend and my friend, and I must help my friend win”
When a shimigami extends a person's life, the person also gets the shimigami's lifespan too. So Misa got Jealous's life and Rem's life added to hers. It's possible Misa could live for over a hundred years if she didn't kill herself.
Your next level when it comes to these videos and the way you smoothly transition into sponsor I just love your content! Have a good morning-noon-night!!!
18:48 no it is not, in lore misa has a longer lifespan than a normal human becuase of the fact that the death god saved her life, so she either got the lifespan of the stalker or the death god, so eitherway even with her lifespam being halved twice she still has many years ahead of her.
I was going through comments and listening to him talking and stumbled across your comment without realizing that I was in the middle of his sly ad read
@@raven1954 why would he suddenly decide to do it then? Ryuk clearly enjoyed watching the show regardless of what was going on. I think he would have gladly accompanied light to jail to see what his next move was, light was borderline genius and very entertaining. He was dying regardless, he was literally seeing the light lol. Ryuk didn't decide to kill him, he did the formality of writing his name when he finally died just as he'd been promised.
19:25 Again, something you forget about is the existence of Watari. Watari probably arranged that should L suffer any injury, he be contacted immediately. L has no form of ID on him, so he would be a John Doe, but his description would help Watari figure out that L is in the hospital. For the hospital to have L's medical records, they don't need L's name. They need L's medical records, which Watari can provide. You're not giving enough credit to the amount of preparation L and Watari have taken prior to even going to Japan.
Funny how this version actually had a better ending just by not killing of L halfway through and replacing him with absolute unlikeable copies of himself for the second half.
18:45 : I'm almost certain someone below has said this before, in the six months before my comment, but just in case......... One fan theory is that when the Death God that was watching over Misa saved her life, he died. So, perhaps, in dying he gave all of his remaining years alive to her (although admittedly, there is no evidence this is possible in the anime, which is the only thing I"ve seen before these movies). If the Death God that did this was active for who knows how many years, then she could have gains MANY extra years of life, and making this deal twice only means she goes back down to a normal human life span.
@@od3910 Umm what? His emotional intelligence is far from low. While Light's interpersonal emotional intelligence is medium (self-awareness, ability to regulate emotions, self management) his intrapersonal emotional intelligence is extreme (ability to understand others and recognise their emotions). Litterally all of his plans involve predicting the behaviour of others. He understands how to appeal to Naomi's sense of urgency and desire to find someone she can trust, he is able to recognise Rem's love for Misa runs so deep she'd be willing to sacrifice herself for him, he knows that Near shares L's idealogy and will concrete proof that Light is Kira before capturing him, he knows that Teru Mikami will be best x-Kira he can find given the time constraints and he is able to predict that Misa will get the eyes for him instantly. He is able to predict how the task force will act after having him among them for monthes and he knows what to say in order to get them to stop trusting Near and knows how to play to Takada's ego.. He also litterally has a 10/10 acting ability and 10/10 social skills written on his page in Death note how to read. And his intrapersonal intelligence isn't even that bad either, he just has a massive hubris due to fact he was neither intellectually challenged. The only times he has emotional outbursts are when he is alone or with Misa (someone who's usefulness is unlikely to be affected by his outbursts). Whenever he is with other people he is able to control his body language and calm himself down, even when L reveals his identity to him. Plus he is litterally dealing with life or death situations on a daily basis, no matter how high your emotional intelligence is your are going to panic in those situations unless you have a mental disorder that reduces fear. This is also combined with his extreme pride meaning he will take any defeat extremely personally. And contrary to popular belief Light doesn't blame others for his failures, he constantly thinks of what mistakes he made and what he could have done. For example when Misa gets caught for having her hair on the tape Light immediately thinks to what HE should have done differently rather than blaming Misa for being careless. Most of the time he blames others are when it really was compltetely their fault, such as when Teru gets Light caught. As far as self-awareness goes, yeah Light's pretty low. But he's not that low. He was able to predict how he would behave after having his memories erased after all. Next up is abiltiy to motivate himself, which Light is excellent at. So Light Yagami is medium when it comes it inter-personal intelligence and excellent when it comes to intra-personal intelligence. His overall emotional intelligence is very high.
If anyone of your viewers gets supernatural powers they'll instantly make an alliance with you because you have the best strategies which puts you in an amazing position, very well played.
@@era2s I don't think he would risk it, in many videos he always suggested to be something like second in command or the puppet master while having someone else be the face of the power since it's alot safer and more comfortable. Also if it's something that makes them physically superior and he couldn't steal that, he'd have no chance, even if he could, if it's difficult and risky enough there wouldn't be any real reason to do it. Furthermore whoever it might be, if they're a viewer they know to always be wary of everyone and not fall into the trap of confidence, I think it would just turn out to be a platonic, wary alliance unless they have something to use against him that he really cares about incase of betrayal. But then again he knows all this and he really wouldn't care for having whatever power it is, he's also not a cunt and if you provide him with everything he wants, don't try to betray him and just vibe with him it will all be good. Especially because of his way of thinking, I'm sure he values true loyalty and trust much more than anyone else just like myself, so honestly it would be perfect. well fcuk that's a long text but he's one of my favorite people ever, this would be so amazing.

(The eye deal also takes 50% of the remaining time not of the entire life)
Y’know, while the god didn’t give his lifespan to her, he just died, you have a fair point, how can we be certain when she would die

Does that mean that she could have lived longer even after taking the Shinigami eyes deal twice?
(Ryuk's lifespan is not relevant here)
Rem dies saving Misa, Misa gets 150 years of life.

"damn that sponsor about me was pretty smooth" - sun Tzu, art of war
18:48 no it is not, in lore misa has a longer lifespan than a normal human becuase of the fact that the death god saved her life, so she either got the lifespan of the stalker or the death god, so eitherway even with her lifespam being halved twice she still has many years ahead of her.

Ryuk

Wait. The book about Tactics of war is a sponsor?
Me thinking light and L is the smartest person but after watching cinema summary I’m changing my mind.
Well he has the benefit of hindsight.
Light isn't particularly intelligent. In some ways yes but intelligence is a very difficult thing to measure. His emotional intelligence is quite poor
@@od3910
Umm what?

If anyone of your viewers gets supernatural powers they'll instantly make an alliance with you because you have the best strategies which puts you in an amazing position, very well played.
he might be too smart and overpower the person tho, rip
