To everyone saying this is like squid game, this movie came from a manga created back in 2011. This kind of genre is well-known in Japan :) The creator of Squid Game already said that he got inspiration from Battle Royale (Battle royale was created back in 2000)
To be fair, he is not a psychopath if he does that, he is most likely a narcissist. Because a psychopaths' thinking is closer to that of Cinema summary's.

If the water runs, he's in luck, because we blink to keep our eyes from drying out, but you can avoid this all together if you let that good good rusty water keep them moist, so you can keep YOUR eyes open. If the water is not running, I would simply gather up my sweat and pour it right into my eye holes. It might burn, but it's a small price to pay if you want to make so you can keep your eyes on the monster and look for clues to help you defeat it.
This is why asian horror is so good, it's not only a survival blood bath with monster monster monster. It keeps your attention and doesn't make the enemies all super grotesque. I honestly think the Cat and the Demon Bear was cute

There's one thing about the Daruma game I feel is important to mention. Everyones blood popping into marbles does make the game harder to play, as it introduces a tripping hazard. It's subtle, but in confined quarters and a time limit, having those all over the floor would make the game harder.
Personally I wouldn't trust the popsicle. I'd probably presume it was poisonous. It wouldn't be the most twisted thing that happened at that school lol.

*1st game, "Dead Light/Green Light":* Most of the students look paralyzed by fear. That's unfortunate. Red Light/Green Light isn't very difficult, especially with the short distance they have to travel. It does, however, require quick reflexes and strong body control. You need to stop as soon as the head starts to turn, and you freeze absolutely. Getting down low is definitely a good idea. I might try a short sprint with a baseball slide to get to the head quickly and with a low profile. Depending on where I started in the room, I might get to the desk in one go, or it might take several attempts. Then I'd wait against the desk until the head turned. Honestly, I would not have considered that because the game normally only has one winner, everyone else would die. I'd think I was saving everyone only to be confronted with a tragic and deeply traumatizing surprise. *2nd game, "Tom and Jerrys":* If the cat behaves in a manner consistent with real felines, it actually might be distracted by moving light on the floor- we don't know because no one tried it. I'd see if any of the girls had a compact mirror with them (many of my classmates did in high school, but I don't know what teenagers in foreign countries take with them to school). This could be used to reflect light from either the window or the overhead lights onto the ground, and to move it around. We know it doesn't perceive people who are not in mouse costume if there are still mice left, but we have little to suggest what else it might perceive. The cat likes its back being scratched, but what else? Head scritches? A belly rub? Getting that one spot right under its chin? Or the base of its ears? Another diversion, if it behaves like an actual cat, would be a rope for it to chase (like cats chase string). I wouldn't be surprised if there was gym equipment made of rope in the storage closet with the basketballs. Most of these potential distractions just buy time to consider a strategy. Covering the bell so that it flies under the radar is smart. If the belly rubs work to pacify the cat, that's an opportunity to score the bell, as students could form something similar to a cheerleading tower (I don't know what they call it) using the belly rub technician as a base (ideally, we'd use several students for a more stable base, but that depends on how many of us are left). *3rd game, "Floaty Doll Invisible Musical Chairs meets That Cup Trick Con-Artists Do at Fairs":* As long as I'm not first I could reliably remember how much time it takes for each doll to move over one space. By remembering the order of the dolls as well as which one is in front of me to begin with (the doll I can see best), I ought to be able to figure out where it has ended up when they stop, and from that I can deduce the position of every other doll. From my perspective, this game is actually much less risky than some of the others. *4th game, "Camaraderie is the Key to Victory":* I'd maneuver the keys into position gradually, with short periods of non-hand-holding, to minimize the chance of being caught without a hand to hold. I could probably get my key into the right place with only one hand, tbh. Trap the key between my body and the...Is that a giant head with the locks in it? Whatever. The point is that I could utz the key into place with my free hand, and then we'd only need ONE short burst of non-hand-holding to turn the keys. *5th game, "Two Truths and a Die":* This is the chance to oust the psycho. Take it. Other than that, it would be key to maintain solidarity with my fellow players so that we don't irrationally kill off the whole group. Use an assertive but calming "kindergarten teacher" voice for greatest effect. If the bear accuses someone of lying I would absolutely ask it how it knows, or how we know whether it's telling the truth. I don't know if questioning it is enough to win, or whether I'd have to directly state that I think it's the liar, but I'd measure what I know of the other students against what I know of the bear, and would probably conclude that it's trying to deceive us. I once yelled at a teacher who really deserved it (I never got in trouble, which means the administration also concluded that the teacher deserved it), so I'd have no problem yelling at a giant, fantastical bear. Yeah, I'd be afraid, but even in high school I knew that some things needed to be done even if they were scary. *6th game, "Capture the Splodey Can":* Honestly, I'd go for the can. It's unrealistic for psycho kid to actually kick the doll into the can. The odds are not in his favor there. As a hider, unless the rules stated that only the seeker could touch the can with their hands, I'd try to do the unexpected and take off with the can. Considering all the junk lying around, as long as I had enough of a lead on the seeker that they couldn't see me, I'd try to quickly stash the can under a bunch of junk and then keep running, trying to look like I'm still holding the can. Now he has to find the can and then the hiders, and I've given them more time to conceal themselves, as well. Hopefully we could run out the clock. As far as hiding strategies are concerned, I'd definitely make sure to separate so we don't get caught in a group or pair, and try to find a spot with line of sight to the "prison." I want to keep an eye on how many kids are captured. Otherwise, yeah, I'd be covering my face, and advising others to do so as well. I was pretty good at squeezing into unlikely hiding spots as a kid, and even up through high school on the rare occasion that we played that type of game to relieve boredom. If I was found, though, I'd try to delay the seeker as long as possible, keeping him from getting back to the can. I'd cling onto him for my life (literally). If others were captured and I wasn't, I would definitely be looking for something to serve as a blast shield. Even if it was demonstrated that blunt force doesn't explode the can, this is a supernatural game, and I don't know whether or not it could explode ONLY when kicked. So while I'd be willing to sacrifice myself to save others, I still want to have some kind of protection. I think my baseball training would come into play again here. The seeker would obviously try to stop me, but I think that the baseball slide might get me past him. Impacting the can with my foot during a slide should count as "kicking" it. The goal there is to punt the can into the abyss. *"The Reward":* I wouldn't trust any food offered to me by one of the malevolent spirits which has been tormenting and killing my classmates all day. We already know they have no problems with deception, so Just Say NO. If you are compelled by threat of death to eat a popsicle, oh well. There's nothing to be done. *"The Aftermath":* Therapy. Lots and lots of therapy.
Good thoughts. I disagree on the cat though: Cats only like to chase light dots and string and so on because anything small that moves quickly appeals to their hunting reflexes, you won't be able to distract a cat with light or string if it has already spotted actual prey
Precisely! The dolls proved that they will lie, why would you trust them? I had another theory/question on the final task. What if only people that get captured in kick the can, get the death popsicle? If the hero was It (don't know the guy's name), would anyone die or would the whole group just die at once?
Bruh if I was there I would tell them what to do if they don't listen then lol there dead the person would regret besides I don't speak Chinese or Japanese well i kanda know a lil about Japanese i would the first one to die because I would eat the popsicle but there's another way if your popsicle melt you would see your bad luck.
That whole "put the bell on the cat game" reminded me of this old book I had as a kid where there was this group of mice and they were discussing how to know when this cat is coming one of the mice says "why don't we bell the cat" and the leader says "Okay who will bell the cat" I think the moral was that if you propose something dangerous then be brave and do it
That was the point of the bell on the cat game. I remember the bell on the cat thing from Tom and Jerry where Jerry was teaching his little nephew how to bell Tom. Jerry was unsuccessful, but his nephew asked politely (well, as politely as a mouse can do without dialogue), and Tom was belled.
Fun fact: In the manga, the kokeshi dolls are the results of what happens if you get caught by the hand-holding kokeshi. They're actually students who got turned into kokeshi dolls by it. The (one of) only ways for them to turn back is that they get guessed by a student during kagome kagome. The girl survivor of kagome kagome was supposed to be the girl kokeshi Shun guessed
The fact that everyone was cheering at this, and not acting horrified at what's happening to these kids is ridiculous. This is quicker than people adjusting to The Hunger Games.
In the manga it was shown that propaganda and manipulating the media into believing this was because of God (which it was) was the reason they were cheering basically praising them as god’s choosen
@@uriyokki you wish An Otaku version of god forced all high schoolers around the world to play children’s games but they are deadly and eventually one of them take place of god and basically starts an infinite time loop of the games? Same honestly
Fun fact: the Daruma doll is probably forced to kill people because as you can see his eyes at stitched open so he can’t close his eyes so he’s forced to see if people are moving
Polar bear scene: There is a literal psychopath among you that has killed people in front of you and only cares about himself. boy: "Oh, that girl must be lying to get us all killed ...because she's from a different school." Logic at its finest.
Maybe no one dies if the timer runs out with the daruma doll (unlike Squid Game). After all, on the back of the doll was only written "if you push the button the game ends", not "if you push the button you win". The game also ends if the timer runs out, right? Sort of like how everyone assumed that the person who couldn't find a partner in Squid Game due to odd number of players would be killed, but . . . she wasn't.
This is how I would survive some games: Daruma doll: I would just speed walk, so when it turns around, it will be easier to stop quicker and stay in the same position longer. Cat: This one’s pretty similar to yours. I would just go to the back of the cat. When a student gets killed, I would scratch the cat. Then, when it falls asleep, I’ll go on top of the cat and when a student shoots, but misses, I would catch the ball and dunk it in. Kagome kagome: Before putting on the blind fold, I would try to memorize who’s in what place. I could name them as numbers, to remember better. Then, I will try to listen to their voices to see which way they’re going. So I’ll follow them until the music stops, and I might have the right answer. Key game: I would ask everyone to hold hands the whole time. When we reach the keys, we’ll look around to see where the doll is. If the coast is clear, we’ll put in our keys to the count of three. Polar bear game: I honestly don’t know🥲 Matreshka: I don’t know either I guess your way lol 🤭

Well even thought is still bad is a death game that maybe everyone dies so the more the better your chances /KILLING for KILLING is just helping the game itself
I mean... a psychopath just randomly kills people. And since people are already going to die, I’d make choices that maximize everyone’s chances of survival. (I would probably announce clearly to the group: “hey! My plans do risk people dying. But they will have the best chance of surviving for everyone.” Instead of saying “hey, test this idea for me.” And looking like a back stabbed)
5:31 When the cat bends down to eat someone. The hoop appears exposed somewhat. Someone could try to toss it in from the side. While it’s close to ground level
I don't think that's why you would die it might have a secret little trick like some of the other monsters maybe he can see through things so that way students can't hide
I just watch his videos so i can't waste my time trying to find the movie. it's very accessable and convenient. And he explains the entire plot so i don't have to be confused.

Random person driving Cinema summary:I can name 3 mistakes he did 1 he didn't check his engine and 2 he doesn't have a knife just in case his seatbelt is stuck and 3 he should have someone to take the full force of the impact
Something interesting about the final game with the Popsicle! It might not have been luck that decided who lived and who died, because the people who died were the people who were caught in 'kick the can'
So the safest bet is to be the kicker or the seeker or whatever you call it I guess? Because it's guaranteed that you can catch at least one person. The host in this video said something like following the players secretly to identify their hiding spot and I would use that strategy as a seeker or kicker to win. It's a win for sure especially if 2 students are at the same school, they would go together. Going on a team would be a bad choice because if the kicker or seeker follows you, it's just insta win for the seeker or the kicker.
But I could be wrong too because the strongest student in there (Amaya Takeru) said that he and Shun was fascinated by this world, in that one picture, it shows Shun smirking in that cat game. So maybe they were destined to win in the first place. But there is a lot of flaws in my theory. Seeing as Shun's friend in the first game (the smart one with the glasses) was also smirking a lot so it's no doubt he was pumped up too. But yet he died.
@Ireland DeeJayy well, the one who make the game is some sort of evil god that doesn't care with humanity at all. So I guess he doesn't care if someone is sick or not
The Games: Red Light Green Light: The Daruma doll will chant "Daruma Sunga Daruma!" before turning over to the class. When he faces the opposite way, it's green light, but when he is turning to the class, it's red light. There's a Button on the back of the doll and whoever presses the button first is the only winner and the rest will die. Cat Game: The player's goal is to make the ball into the cat's basketball hoop while trying to avoid the attack. Wearing the mouse costume will make you a target for the cat, but it also can make you hear what the cat is saying. Whoever makes the ball into the hoop the cat will stop and sleeping gas comes out of it's mouth Kagome Kagome: The four dolls known as Kokeshi, will circle around you chanting the Kagome Kagome song. Once the song is over the person in the middle must guess who is behind him. After Kagome Kagome game: The doll that says "Hate" will chase you around, but it hates friendship and will stop attacking when you hold hands. Just Tell the Truth or Die: A polar bear says he will ask a question and if someone lies, they have 2 minutes to figure who it is. Kick The Can: Whoever is it must kick the can to the circle and must look at their face to catch them and whoever kicks the can again can free them, but the can will explode. To be honest I would rather confront him about using those people as human sheld's vs not saying anything at all... mostly likely the more people there are the lest likely you will be killed also the more people that there are the more of a chance you can have on what the game is and try to think about something like how to bet it
Okay but can we just take a minute to realise how absolutely hilarious it is for when the cat absolutely PELTS that ball at the basketball mvp, and then makes a smug little gesture after? Absolutely class.
I really like the depths of strategy used in the cat game. The other games were decent enough too, but I would absolutely NOT eat that popsicle at the end. If the creatures just straight up lie about the rules of the game, why would I trust anything they give?

@AYDEN LIM REN ZEN Moe death is entertaining lmao
Ibukiiiii
Kind of like the hunger games
Lots and lots of therapy.
if only you posted this at the upload time darn

holy shit
Good thoughts. I disagree on the cat though: Cats only like to chase light dots and string and so on because anything small that moves quickly appeals to their hunting reflexes, you won't be able to distract a cat with light or string if it has already spotted actual prey

14:44 No way I would watch a horror movie like this alone. But this was too funny and I will bear in my mind. :D
Oh thats a fabula!
The moral of the story isn’t to be brave if you propose something dangerous. It’s that ideas are only great if you act on them.
I had that book too

Fun fact: In the manga, the kokeshi dolls are the results of what happens if you get caught by the hand-holding kokeshi. They're actually students who got turned into kokeshi dolls by it. The (one of) only ways for them to turn back is that they get guessed by a student during kagome kagome. The girl survivor of kagome kagome was supposed to be the girl kokeshi Shun guessed
The fact that everyone was cheering at this, and not acting horrified at what's happening to these kids is ridiculous.
This is quicker than people adjusting to The Hunger Games.

Or might stabbing daruma doll eyes work
This is how I would survive some games:
Daruma doll: I would just speed walk, so when it turns around, it will be easier to stop quicker and stay in the same position longer.
Polar bear game: I honestly don’t know🥲

Yesnt? I mean if it doesnt explicitly forbid this kind of behaviour it isnt cheating.
I don't think that's why you would die it might have a secret little trick like some of the other monsters maybe he can see through things so that way students can't hide

He'd know red light green light, and He'd prolly do better in the basketball game.
In kick the can they might not know what his name is.
In the manga it actually consists the whole world but i think they will use the local games
I'd be screwed..
Something interesting about the final game with the Popsicle! It might not have been luck that decided who lived and who died, because the people who died were the people who were caught in 'kick the can'
I was thinking the same. The psycho kid and hero did the most work and tried the hardest. They are the ones who won.
THE CAT IS SO CUTE UWU

@@donflamingo5685 don't say that to me. Say it to the creator of the manga
@Ireland DeeJayy well, the one who make the game is some sort of evil god that doesn't care with humanity at all. So I guess he doesn't care if someone is sick or not

The Games:
Red Light Green Light: The Daruma doll will chant "Daruma Sunga Daruma!" before turning over to the class.
Whoever makes the ball into the hoop the cat will stop and sleeping gas comes out of it's mouth
Kagome Kagome: The four dolls known as Kokeshi, will circle around you chanting the Kagome Kagome song.
Live Or Die: The ice cream bars says either "You Live" or "You die".
Parents: "How was school son?"
Boy: "Hell."
Parents: "Now don't say something like that.
Boy: "Look outside."
Parents: *looks outside*
Also parents: "I retract my earlier statement."

I loved this movie. The graphics were amazing and the storyline was kinda sad but it was excellent. This was one of the horror movies I didn't get scared of bc it was just a bunch of blood. There weren't really anything that scared me. That's why I love this movie.
I wonder if it took as much work as cabin in the woods
Host: He is a psycopath!
Also host: The more expendable people there are in the games, the more we can benefit from their deaths.
that's a smartass move tbh 😂

Well to be fair, it's better to have most people die than everyone dying.
If they're gonna die, might as well get use out of them

“I would confront him” ... he just snapped two people’s necks like it’s nothing so.... sure
Bruh true
Facts
To be honest I would rather confront him about using those people as human sheld's vs not saying anything at all... mostly likely the more people there are the lest likely you will be killed also the more people that there are the more of a chance you can have on what the game is and try to think about something like how to bet it
It would be best to confront him at that moment, when every person in the vicinity is important. All seven of them are needed

I really like the depths of strategy used in the cat game. The other games were decent enough too, but I would absolutely NOT eat that popsicle at the end. If the creatures just straight up lie about the rules of the game, why would I trust anything they give?
