Wow Beautiful! I saw and and your beautiful daughters at the event, but I was too shy to say hello.....you all looked even more adorable in person.....thanks for the helpful videos❤
The story in the beginning about how your daughters reconfirmed their hairstyle preference even after you thought they’d prefer otherwise brought tears to my eyes. It was so beautiful to hear, and confirmation of a job well done, Mom! ❤
@@MJayB26 Yes..even I had to sit back and reflect on it. It proved to me how far they've come in their "Confidence" journey...and I couldn't be prouder. Thank you for sharing in these moments with us. We are glad😊...Be Blessed 🙏🏾
How gorgeous!!!! Well done mom! I think you hit the nail on the head. As someone with fine, low density hair, i will NEVER go back to relaxers lol (God keep me please). I'm noticing a lot of women who have been natural for a long time going back to relaxers. I really think that it's programming. The program runs deep in us to compare relaxed hair to natural hair, in terms of the maintenance. I think the care for relaxed hair is the same IF NOT higher maintenance as the care of natural hair. So, I think it's more about aesthetics than anything. It took me almost 2 decades to finally embrace my natural hair and let it do what it wants to do and not attach other people's or society's opinion to it. I ignore it all.
People have their preferences. If you feel like it's more maintenance, that's your opinion. Others might see it differently. When my hair was relaxed, I found it easier to care for compared to my natural hair. You might as well say we are "programmed" to wear makeup. It's no better for your skin and also has its health effects. Many people wear makeup and some people choose not to. Let people do what they prefer. We are individuals, after all. Culture has influences in many area of our lives.
❤The Fairy Fro Goddess just be outchea doing goddess stuff y’all. (Yeah, I know that’s not her handle, but I can’t think of Lindsay as anything else but a gorgeous goddess.) This one was a 10/10, ma’am. 😍🥰
Honestly they go back to relaxers because they want to feel more desirable especially by men and that is the truth. When as a black women you have straight hair you are a prick of interest and even treated better when your hair is looser or mixed race curly or straight. same as the colorism, there is also texturism in the black community. Notice that these women are dark skin living in the west particularly. We might say on social media natural this natural that but in reality it demands a lot of mental and emotional strength to deal with unwanted comments. ❤ me personally I want hair like yours

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You have helped me tremendously. I ordered your care products USA and love them. I got them ALL. Unfortunately, I would suggest proper packing for the growth oil. The oil i received spilled in the package upon shipment arrival and was almost empty.
In 5 years i wont need to wear any wigs or braids. I just use henna from the indian store to cover my grey hairs and thats it. Im accepting the ROOTS THAT GROW OUT OF MY HAIR.❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love all your videos and I can appreciate the knowledge you give. The fact that you practice what you preach with your hair and your beautiful children is awesome. I have a question, what material for bonnets would you consider more effective on natural hair? I know it's personal preference but seeing how healthy your hair is im seeking some advice from your experiences? I wear a satin bonnet without missing a beat but I find my hair still has a dry appearance and frizz even after I wash .... moisturize and seal my hair...I also air dry and my hair is usually about 95% dry in a few hours.
@@tabken5895 Welcome and thank you😊. Rosemary oil or jojoba oil with gentle massages will help. Also avoid any style that will cause any kind of tension on your edges.
