Camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, orchard, summer house, 4 wheelin, Covered. 250 acres you could lob 50 off and lease out for hunting. Best part of this place IMO, you can't see another house or person from this place.

    Thats a hay and grazing farm. When Kentucky was settled, there were 3 kinds of land: flat, hilly, mixed. Hilly was cheapest so you got alot more of it. Like this land. Bet that cabin is squared chestnut: huge, tall, rot resistant, beautiful woodgrain.

    • @alana8088
      @alana8088 Год назад +5

      Thank you, I can see that from the lay of the land. Grazing animals would keep it healthy. And yes, let some of it stay “natural” but also hopefully work it. Sad thing is, most of our farm and grazing land is going to convert to private estate escapes for people with $ who have no background in farming whatsoever. Take good care and thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    Beautiful farm. I love the old well taken care of log cabins. I would live in the cabin, grow a big garden, build a high tunnel, plant a fruit orchard / food forest, graze South Pol cattle, sheep and meat birds on the land. Nice silvo pasture areas for summer grazing. Definitely would do some fishing in the ponds and creek, maybe build a dock and have a row boat on the big pond. Would convert, concrete, enclose 2 bays of the wooden parking building into a outdoor kitchen to process meat birds, venison and for process & canning fruit and vegetables to keep the heat and mess out of the house. Now, I need to win the lottery!

    • @Rach-A-Ro
      @Rach-A-Ro Год назад

      A great way to work in this type of environment is to become a professional groom for show horses. It’s a lot of work, though and often involves frequent traveling. But, it’s definitely a way to live somewhere like this. Most big show barns provide housing on premises (like a small cottage. Sometimes a large trailer) and then pay you a salary. You can easily make $700-$1000 a week with housing and free board included for one horse of your own. It does take a while to get to such a high level, but it’s a cool thought! If you work under a good, kind professional rider/team, it can be great.

The various vegetation and wildlife, and all the different types of water features, what more could one ask for. And when I hear people complain of over population, I have to wonder if they have ever left their city limits. So much wide spine of space, nearly every turn, there has to be room for everyone. Not to mention, plenty choice for crops and gardening. Feed the world. Well, at least the locals!lil don't know what country you are from,but if you ever get a chance, at least come for a stay. @Brad Simmons - wow!!! I am going so amazed with the properties you show us. The bang for your buck is unbelievable, especially after having lived in Los Angeles for the last 21 years. Everything you show is so inspiring. I am looking to purchase a property for an animal sanctuary/ home for troubled/at risk youth. I feel like if you can reach an at risk youth early enough, and show them the unconditionally love of/from an animal, it can change the trajectory of their life. Maybe its just a pipe dream, but hopefully someday I'll be able to do that. Keep up the good work. OMG, biggest crush...too nervous to call office. 😂 Lol

      I have a similar dream! Mostly just a farm sanctuary, but I’d like to work with victims of abuse. Unfortunately, a lot of these comments are making me rethink the southern states :/ I didn’t realize people were still such bigots.
      I hope you accomplish your dreams! You will change the world for many.

    48 inches a year!
    I live in far Northern california on Oregon border on French hill above Gasquet ca.
    200 inches on my hill last year.
    But we have a Mediterranean climate here and rain normally only comes from late October to spring then nothing all summer long.
    With a inch a week there one could grow a garden without irrigation pretty much!

    Love this property!!! I would use the cabin as a guesthouse and build a modern farmhouse. Love everything about it!! I would grow crops (of some kind) on it. No animals, tho. Wouldnt have time to care for them. As i would use this for my summer property and a home in Florida for my winter home.😉 just waiting on some investment money to come in!😁😄🥰😊 Soon!! I will be in contact with you, Brad or Ken, as soon as i recieve it!!😇🙏👍

    Thank you so much for this video. The possibilities are truly endless and, with a little cleaver manoeuvring it could pay for itself and then some. We are looking down the barrel of food shortages not only in America but worldwide and, it appears to have a plentiful supply of well water. This is an extraordinary opportunity to live the life and prosper.
    Personally I’d build a second or third home and add a market for the locals as well as the wholesale market.
    One of the hills overlooking the views is crying out for a few RVS as long as you can maintain the privacy of the main property. How exciting and what a great guy that is selling it. I think his footprint will last forever. I’m definitely interested in viewing Ken and Brad 😉💕💫

      I am going to guess June or July-ish. we have about 4" of rainfall every month - fairly evenly divided. So it looks like that all the time - except Dec, Jan, Feb. Then in March it starts getting green again. Yes, we love it here too.
