Good to hear! I’ve got tickets for the same show in about 3 weeks.

Mad lad Jim. He makes such a great point about how metal is turning into “obey and follow the establishment” which is so against what it always used to be.
I was at a show in Vegas and Jim Root saw me in the crowd with both hands held high putting up the "rock" sign and Jim looked at me dead in the eyes and threw up the sigh right back at me while he gave me a heads-up nod, I was in shock and just froze so Jim threw up the sign and nodded at me again! ...and I nodded back. These guys need to understand the difference between freedom and public health.
Which guys are you referring to? The argument that all the shutdowns and mandates was about public health is a lie. It was about control, period. The science was known at the very beginning that the virus was only dangerous to the elderly and to those with comorbidities, and they knew that the vaccines didn't prevent transmission of the virus. Yet, they shut down schools, bankrupted small businesses, arrested people, fined people, mandated masks and vaccines, and ran a massive censorship campaign on social media outlets under the guise of public health even though it all went against the science. That's the literal definition of the machine, and RATM was, and still is supporting the machine. The irony is not lost on those who see it for what it is.

I just find it funny that most of the comments I'm reading here are criticizing a band for speaking their minds. Just because you don't feel the same, or believe as they do, does not give you a free pass to slam them. Dissenting discourse is a good thing. It keeps the world in check. However, that completely breaks down when it breaks down into insults or flat out questioning someone else's integrity. To be clear, this is NOT about what was said in that interview. It IS about the comments I'm seeing here. Just because you don't agree with someone does not mean you have to disagree disrespectfully.
“Does not give you a free pass to slam them.”
Actually it does. It’s someone’s opinion backed by freedom of speech. The same way you are criticizing those with whom you disagree with in this comment section…”You speak of freedom yet condemn those who speak freely.”- me😂

Jim Root has a good point here. Do not sing one thing one minute and then go sing another completely different and then opposite thing the next at least not without giving your audience a clue or clues as to what you are doing and especially where you are going with the new take on the subject. It is also okay to drop songs that a band no longer stands behind as well too even if it is just for the sake of continuity so you do not lose your audience. I too like to go to shows just really simply to be entertained. It's why it's called entertainment by the way too.
