Dell Inspiron 17 7000 2 in 1 Series - Quick and Easy - How to Replace the Battery

A short video to guide you though replacing your Dell Inspiron 17" 7000 series Laptop battery. This is virtually the same for the 15 5000 and other models that take this battery. Type 33YDH 56 Wh 15.2V. Symptoms are the computer only works when plugged into power.
IF you are afraid to work on your machine take it to a professional.
Do NOT overtighten screws.

I watched the video the video just to see how you disconnected the cable from the battery. Everything else was pretty easy. SOmetimes you have to pull up then out, sometimes just pull out. Good vid!

I lost my service tag and have previously gone in and gotten my laptop "fixed" not even a week later it kept dying I'm sick of it at this point. Should I replace the battery? (I've gotten a new power cord and turned off all background apps plus checked my outlets and they aren't the problem)

We replaced ours but it still doesn't last more than an hour. I probably should have gone with the more expensive battery. Before it was less than 10 minutes.
