Dell specs say the max is 16GB of memory. You stated that you can upgrade the memory to 32GB? Will the system recognize that size? Thanks for any info. Greatly appreciate your help.
I'm planning to upgrade my dad's inspiron for his birthday. I want to replace the touch pad (he has to use a mouse because it doesn't work anymore) and upgrade the ram and perhaps ssd to 1tb. Thanks for this introduction! I don't know if he has the 7791 model but they look exactly alike. I'll have to inspect it when he's not looking (it's going to be a surprise so I hope I don't mess it up). Do you do videos for very old laptops?
That's very kind of you, but be very careful with that. Wouldn't want to lose all his data in the process. If you could get the service tag (ST) number (usually on the bottom) I could look up the exact model.
Depends on what your motherboard supports, but why would you want a junky oem SSD in your computer? Get a real aftermarket one. They're so much better.
Looks like it should work with my motherboard. I’m personally content with the speeds I get in my laptop and was just tryna save a buck as it’s a pretty low-cost build. Thank you for your answer though I appreciate it
