Finally seeing women of color in Jeep’s. I’ve been a Jeep girl for about 5 years now. I’ve always wanted a Jeep since back in the 1980’s so it’s not a popular thing for me.... just always wanted one no matter who got it or not... back in the Barbie Jeep days! Lol ... I’m just a lover of Jeep’s so there are not many cons to me lol. Jeep’s didn’t use to come with much but just being able to take the doors and tops off. This is an old school thing I love to go mudding and trailing and when I first finally got one 5 years ago I didn’t see many black females in them so I guess maybe it’s a thing that’s oh this girl has one and now I want one thing... either way great video! #jeeplife #floridalife #jeeprubicon

I get this video totally!!! I had a jeep for as long as I can remember. 2 TJs and a JK. I traded my 2014 in two months ago for a "more sensible" car thinking it was time. NOPE, cant do it! Went to the dealership and ordered a new one today, be here in 3 months. Once a jeep girl, always a jeep girl.
Love the Jeep. Just so your audience knows you can get that power back on the highway by re-gearing. When you put larger rims and tires on a Jeep, it makes the engine work harder. To offset that, you need to have it re-geared to at least a 4.88 for 35's. It will give you that pep back. If you put tires bigger than 35's, you might want to consider 5.13's instead. (and yes, this needs to be done front and back and no you cannot mix the two.)

@@1718Dance Go to an offroad shop in your area like 4 Wheel Parts (4WP) The dealer can't do this and it would be way too expensive.

I just became a owner of an 2007 2 door jeep wrangler...I'm about to restore my whole frame and I've learned a lot about jeeps so far...once I restore it it's going to be worth way more than what I paid for it. My second Jeep will be a 4 door 2022 and you are right about turning and the speed...I told my partner I love the fact that I can go anywhere but I hate how slow it is...but once you pick up speed you're fine. I love how Jeep owners could modify their Jeep to their satisfaction, and my soft top have NEVER been taken off. I love my Jeep and I can't wait to restore the frame. I’m currently on my third Jeep. Sold my 1995 Jeep with 262 k miles. Still have 2007 Sahara with 203 k miles and love it. Two weeks ago bought 2020 Sahara. I’m in love. Like your videos. Jeep is my life.

@@aclmovement I wish they would finally offer that top aftermarket, like they do with hard and soft tops bc it’s really hard to come by the one touch unless you’re ordering a brand new one. So many ppl have asked for it.
I even found a Bikini Pearl Jeep an hour and a half away, but it’s not my one touch and I can’t switch out the top for one touch. Lol I was so bummed!

Girl you should have had my 1995 jeep with soft top, no air and manual everything. But I LOVED it! After 20 years I sold and got 2018 with only option air. Loved it. Fractured tailbone can no longer drive manual transmission and looking for my next jeep and looking at Sahara. Thanks for the overview!

I was a Jeep owner for 5 years (had a 2015 then traded for 2018). Get you a top lift pro.. it will allow you to remove the top independently.. they cost $1000 but it’s worth it!! I miss my Jeep and will be purchasing another one soon!! 😍

So...I own a 2021 2dr Rubicon. I’m sorry but I have to disagree with a few things. 1. The new JL is actually quick! With 285 hp and an eight speed transmission it moves. 2. I’m getting 20-21 mpg in the city. 3. Buy a soft top if you want the full open air experience but then don’t complain about the extra road noise. Can’t have it both ways. Ok...great video and your Jeep is awesome!
The Sahara is undergeared. Your Rubicon comes with 4.10s from the factory. She also may have the 2.0 4cyl. Proper gearing makes a huge difference.

I ordered a 2022 sahara at 67! I have always wanted one. I decided now I am doing it. The one con that didn't bother me was the gas mileage. I now own a VW atlas cross sport and the gas mileage is not good. The wrangler is actually better!

Considering I stand at 4’9”, I opted for the soft top and then the Bestop Supertop Ultra a few weeks later so I could take it down completely by myself. People are always amused to see lil me in a Jeep and then impressed when I handle it with no problems lol
You need to go check out top lift pros it’s a Jeep top remover that lets you take the top off all by yourself.
It's interesting hearing the speed con. I rented a jeep and didn't have problems with getting it to pick up speed on the high way

Cruising on the street last year, came home, told my hubby that I like the look of wangler and it’s gonna be my next car. He gave me a confused look. Haven’t test drive, but still want to own one. short mexican here😆 same reaction from my boyfriend a few days ago! told him listen up i dont want to be the basic female that got the same whip as most everyone nowadays ( he has a '17 mustang, well its a shelby BUT STILL here in the bay area you see ALOT of mustangs, I have a mustang too aint that some shit but mine a 2001😅 ) and im like I want to have a unique vehicle that you rarely see, and to be honest the new rubicon with the hemi has caught my eye😍😍 you WILL have your jeep girl stay positive and just manifest it into your life, dont let negativity distract you 🙏🙌🏽
My wife owns a 2021 Tesla Model Y and now I own a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara unlimited 2L one and its not bad on gas and it's my daily driver for work only.

I’m coming from a Jeep Grand Cherokee 6V to my new Jeep Wrangler Sahara which is 4v and the difference is definitely noticeable 😭 also you’re right about the curves I get scared going fast bc It doesn’t feel safe and trust me I know how to drive fast I used to have a mustang aside from the Cherokee and I definitely know how skrt skrt on the freeway lol but the Jeep is definitely not one of them cars to do that with. But nonetheless I’m in love with my Jeep, and everyone complements it as well bc I got mine looking fly, also mines is a hybrid and and I never had a hybrid car before so the fact that the hybrid option was available on my favorite truck is a dream come true.
I agree that removing the roof is daunting. I feel just like the dealer can store your tires they should offer to store your roof when you switch to the soft top in the summer. "Business idea" :)
New jeep owner. NOT having a Sky 1-Touch (Power Roof) was a deal breaker for that reason - wouldn't be able to take the back off. LOVE LOVE LOVE my power roof!
You should try the idrive or the pedal commander for that sluggish feeling. I’ve had one for over a year and what a big difference

Just an idea about the back top,they do make a lift that rolls on the ground for that purpose,good luck ,and thanks for the video we love our 2019 Sahara !

Hey,have you heard about the 392 one?People use to get that custom done for the pickup issue since jeeps are torque heavy,but like you said speed not so much.The 392 has the hemi motor used in chargers/challengers so if you ever want some more pick up speed wise,you should check out the specs on it if you haven't already. Beautiful Jeep! Great video. Mine is 2020 all black 2.0 turbo charge. My biggest con is that start stop feature. Pressing that button each time. I’m getting a permanent solution when my warranty is over. Here’s a wave ✌️

I have the same jeep as you. Color and everything. I have the power retractable top so the back comes off pretty easy by just removing the back windows.

Great video on the wrangler, I got me a Rubicon because I have plans to do some off-roading (already hit a few trails). I have the 2.0 turbo and its no slouch, merging on the freeway is easy when you give it the beans. A petal commander or something like tat might help with the acceleration issue. But we are driving a big brick with big tires so its speed is not a strong suit nor gas milage as you pointed out. I really enjoy the jeep community and can't wait to do some group events.

I remember seeing a mobile wench type system you can use to remove and store a hardtop by yourself. Also looks like there is a place to store your doors as well. I wanted to get it for my Wrangler, but could not afford the price. Think it was like $500 or so. You could give something like that a shot if ever want to get the hardtop fully off experience.

If you have a garage you can get a hardtop pulley system. That system will let you take the top off by yourself.
