Thanks for tuning in! If you own a Camaro with wide tires then you need this simple mod! Protect your paint! Link to this product below… zl1addons.com/...
Much appreciated. My guards are on the way. I like the look it brings to the entire car. It looks easy. And the cool thing about it was you didn’t have to remove the tires. I am sold😝… great video. Definitely saving for a step by step tutorial. Thanks again!!!
That mystery green is so cool the only other color have besides my black one with black wheels 20s with the recarrow racing seats and the Bose premium stereo
That’s awesome! Definitely get them on asap. I wish I would have sooner. My car had 9,000 miles on it before I got them. My quarter panels are peppered like crazy with chips.
2:50 Bro I cannot get these push pins to go back in for the life of me. Is there a correct way to put them back in? They refuse to go back in on both sides in the front. Any tips or advice on it?
Hmm. Do you have the center pin pulled out at all? Don't need to pull it out the whole way... just enough that the tip of the clip is easily squeezable
@@pacarobsession Oh snap, now I’m confused cuz my pin looks way different from yours. Mine is just one piece, yours was two. Wish I could add a picture in here. Are the 2020 SS pins different from the ZL1’s maybe?
I bought my zle used with 4000 miles on it. Already has rock guards that are screwed in. Not sure if they are factory or previous owner installed but they look factory.
@@pacarobsession Ordered in October of 21 and I was really not expecting for my order to be picked up so late in the process. Got lucky I suppose.. had to drop the PDR off the build to have my order accepted but I’m fine with that. Can’t wait to get it!
Sorry in my opinion this is not as good as the other options out there One that I would recommend is acs composite, it’s a much better product. It costs more but it really is so much better

Rock guards are a must in any car.
I totally agree!
Good how to vid, thanks for sharing it. Sweet ride 👍🏽
Thanks for the tip just ordered a set for my 23 LT1
Awesome! Definitely worth it!

They are a must i have some as well and i think they look good to.
Agree 100%. Didn't have them on the 2017 and ooohhh the rock damage. I sure put it on the 2021.
Great walkthrough video man!
Thanks man! I believe it’s my first DIY video… I was hoping to make it without missing any steps 🤣
@@pacarobsession Haha well you did a good job!
Love how the rock guards gives it that lil bit of z/28 look
ZL1 is on the truck ordering these

Did you get the deluxe or the standard one?
Hey Great video, what is the Craftsman tool you used to screw in the back called?
Thank you!
Best I could find is mini screwdriver ratchet set! Amazon has a craftsman one for $15!
Great video!
Thanks! And thanks for the sub I returned the favor!
Looks sharp
Thank you!

@siccbet449 ah very well may be. If they are different that's strange

Good! At least you have something on there lol
I bought the OEM paint matching ones…really like
Ah nice!!! They’re definitely worth it. I figured the black would look good with mine and match the other black parts of the car
@@pacarobsession your whip is awesome
@@patriot4757 thank you!
Did you get the factory ones ? Are they not worth putting on?
I did not. I got these purely for the price point and they have amazing reviews. I imagine the factory molded ones are much more expensive
@PA Car Obsession I have factory ones, but none of the hardware you show .
Gonna get my ZLE by August and I already have my rock guards. Great walkthrough video!
Thank you! And congrats on your ZLE! You’re gonna love it!

Slick tip man!!👌😎 Very suttle, looks great!! 👍
Haha thanks man! Gotta protect that paint!
Have to protect the beautiful Camaro
Have these helped so far? Did they work for your other SS.
Yep! They have really helped cut down stone chips. So worth it!
Yeap they work on the SS, I installed them on my 2012 SS, they were also Zl1 rockguards but for year 2010-2015.
Does GM offer a set of those or are they better ????
I believe they do and they’ll have a cleaner, more fitted look
Still waiting to take a ride in that beast!!!
Lol yeah we need to take a spin!
Looks 🔥
Can I go to automatic car wash with these or only touches?
I’d honestly try to stick with touchless or hand wash. That’s what I do for mine. Since they stick out a little bit I could see them being snagged
I agree with no automatic washes on this caliber of car. If you have the 1le I would be worried about the spoiler as well.
💯 garage!
Is it just me or do they seem a little thin to actually do any good?
They work great, I have them for 5 years now and no problem. Is a different brand , mines are the Zl1 oem but look the same.
Thanks so much
I think the factory OEM body colored ones are the best
Sorry in my opinion this is not as good as the other options out there
One that I would recommend is acs composite, it’s a much better product. It costs more but it really is so much better
Why you say that, I have the oem from GM and look very similar.
cheap ones
