PPF and a super light polish is a great first mod. Totally agree and did the same on mine. Skip shift eliminator is a must. That skip shift feature annoyed me to no end. Look forward to hearing of the go fast or handling mods you install!

However, manufacturers have gotten lazy and the process makes the delivered product very poor for the real world. The third is subjective. It's a nice mod to be sure, especially given that LEDs are better than bulb technology that hasn't advanced much ~60 years. Since I have a manual, the skip shift delete was one of my first mods and I'm so glad I did it.

Pull the left plastic valve cover off and see if you have a LS1 Corvette engine. Some of the 2020 and 2021 SS 1LE's with the 6 speed have the Vette engine with the builders name on the plate. It's an easter egg that has to be found. The engines were left over C-7 Vette engines and they do not fit in the new C-8. Just something that is very cool. It's like the Shelby Engines with the builders name.
Those rock guards look a bit off to me. I have a 2024 Camaro with lower PPF and haven’t had many paint issues. I got paint correction and ceramic pros coating professionally installed.
I'd look into to getting a oil catch can. You'd be surprised at how much oil it collects in a few thousand miles because of the engine's direct fuel injection.
The ZL1 Addons deluxe rock guards are a must. I've had them on my WB Challenger for a year and a half. They work great. On a side note, I bought your hoodie and Teespring has the zipper pull on the wrong side. As for lefties. I still like your "Gonin60" logo

You got it for much cheaper than what they’re charging in my area (3.5k just for the ppf). At that point I have to wonder if its better to spend the cash on other mods. I chose to only do ceramic coating and then invest on other things (exhaust, wing, etc)
I've had my 1ss 1le for about 3 months now and the number 1 thing I dislike about the car is the amount of rocks it kicks up. Got my car protected within the month, now I just need those rocks guards.
This might be a dumb question but could someone have their car re-cleared? Like with a better coat? I remember doing this on m/c gas tanks and fenders. In the 80's.
I’m not a professional painter but if clear is gone that means the paint has no protection. I guess you could but you would be better off probably painting and clear

Those factory tires are nowhere near sticky under 50F. I changed out 2500 miles in for some Continental Extreme Contact Sports. Excellent tires and a bit smoother ride than the factory Supercar 3 runflats. Rock guards are a must and I liked the looks of the rocker skirts so those went on as well.
Changed my entire taillight enclosure, which came with LED. The clean white light is nice. Your comment reminded me that I have to do the license plate 👍

We wouldn't have to worry about taking our car to a shop to make the paint better if they didn't stop taking lead out of the clear coat at the factories. You can blame The "Save the planet people" of the world as to why you're paint job gets scratched easily.

Another video on YT stated the sidemarkers need to be "waterproofed" or water will short out the car. Any issues with this?
