By the way there are 3 features that I had to activate in the infotainment before they actually worked. 1 is the roll down window feature has to be active in the infotainment. 2 is rear view mirrors go down automatically when u put the car in reverse (so you can see the curb). 3 is on a hot or cold day you can program the AC to run when you start your car from the FOB so you can get the AC or heater going before you get in.
@@nightmaresandlollypo if the keyfob isnt working, go to settings> vehicle> remote lock, unlock, start > remote window operation make sure On is check marked
Just thought I would let you know. That when you leave the emergency brake on it automatically is turned off if you just drive away forgetting to release it. You can give it a try if you don’t give it a lot of gas it will hold you in place. But if youJust leave forgetting to release it a message will come up on the screen saying emergency brake released. Just thought I would mention that it was cool when I had it happen
Question. A decent walkthrough of the traction control systems would be great. Took me a while to figure out how to do a burn out much less how to heat the tires using the line lock feature. There's quite a lot hidden in that little traction control button. Driving a 2017 ZL1 6spd.
Hahaha, I've been owning my 2018 Chevy Camaro 1SS 1LE for over 2 years and I just learned from watching this video about lowering your windows with the key fob. N here I thought I knew just about all of the hidden features. Haha, Thanks Mac. Good info, Good channel content. Keep them coming. I Live in Los Angeles, CA. N emissions are so strict out here it's impossible to do any real engine mods. N also don't want to void my warranty since I only have 17,000 miles on it. But eventually I plan to do so in the future.
Yesterday I had to buy a shovel so I had my backseat down and I could hear the pops and the exhaust way better with the seat down. Not exactly a feature but something I would have never thought to do. My windows were up and im on stock exhaust. 2018 ZL1
Hidden things I didn't see at first and had to dig to find them. Performance Timer (0-60/0-100/1/4 mile) and lap timer. you need to activate it, before you can see it (in the Performance info pages). Depending on the car, I've also seen the launch control settings (I don't see it on mine, but i've seen videos with 2016s that have them).
Help! I swiped the audio screen over to the dash. But I keep swiping to the right to get it back over to the radio screen and it’s not working. How do I get the music selection from my dash back over to the radio screen/ console ?
*2019 Camero SS 1LE-Biggest feature I learned about is "Competitive Mode" press traction control/StabiliTrak off button twice quickly while in sport or track mode.
I have a fifty as well. That car gets sooo much love. These kids were pointing as me and wife were leaving from dinner. I had to punch it she gets mad because her head just flops back. 🤣🤣🤣
Great video! I always learn something new on YT. Are there any recommendations about installation of Smart active wing? Thinking about ordering one from Victor racing site, I have heard great things about it.
I assume since you have paddles that you can shift the manual transmission with them. If so, why wouldn't you just do the "no-lift" shift with the paddles?
Awesome tip I did not know that and I’ve had my SS manual for two years, but Silly question do you still need to use your clutch, or do you just shift? Thanks Fred
So you can see what door is open thats funny there's only 2 even if your hood or trunk is open even without that you could probably figure out pretty quickly which one is open

Pinned! Those are all awesome and really helpful!
My 2020 ss windows don’t roll down with the fob. Where do I go in the settings to make that work
First the car has to be off, double click and hold, should work automatically!
@@nightmaresandlollypo if the keyfob isnt working, go to settings> vehicle> remote lock, unlock, start > remote window operation make sure On is check marked
How do you get the rear view mirrors to go down automatically when the car is in reverse? Also, did you mean the side view mirrors?

If the key fob battery is dieing put it in the center rear cup holder. You can read it in the user manual.
Huh. Wait what ??!!!! Re explain this before I go try it lol
Heck man I did not know about the key fob rolling the windows down lol thanks man !

Me too.

Yes it does sound better , but open a window with the rear seat down and the effect of the wind blowing into the trunk makes my head want to explode
I k ow I’m a little late here, but I got a 2020 RS 1LE 6spd, it should have NLS right?

Ah that’s a really good one! I remember finding that hidden too!

Great video!
Btw how did you turn off the onStar feature? I can see it disabled on 2:24. It's kinda annoying and I want to turn in off
Awesome video bro I got a 2019 Camaro 2ss
Hell yeah, what color did you go with??
Mac Pettit I got black on black check me out it’s on my videos
No lift shift thats dope for drag days
The sound it makes is also intoxicating for sure
*2019 Camero SS 1LE-Biggest feature I learned about is "Competitive Mode" press traction control/StabiliTrak off button twice quickly while in sport or track mode.
that is crazy shifting without clutch for racing imma try it on mine
is there a no lift shift option on the v6? and if not can you get one aftermarket?
Cool video and bad ass car wrap 👌
“double tap unlock button to roll windows down, you should know that tho”😂😂😂 me not knowing that till now
Great video, as always! I learned a few new features that I'll have to check out on my 2017 Camaro SS Fifty! 👍
I have a fifty as well. That car gets sooo much love. These kids were pointing as me and wife were leaving from dinner. I had to punch it she gets mad because her head just flops back. 🤣🤣🤣
I love my Fifty; NPP exhaust sounds awesome! Mine also gets a ton of looks out on the street!
How did you add the chevy bowtie on the ikon motorsports zl1 bumper? Please help
My ‘19 SS 1LE came with a secret Auto Fog feature for the windshield. And also an offset friction bubble on the PDR playback.
Great video! I always learn something new on YT. Are there any recommendations about installation of Smart active wing? Thinking about ordering one from Victor racing site, I have heard great things about it.
Alot of people are amazed by the roll down the windows thing. Cars have been doing that for well over a decade
2yrs into owning mine and had no idea about lowering the windows with the fob haha
thanks! can't wait to try the no shift lift
What kind of drop do you have on it my boy 👌🏼
That’s the most ghetto wrap I’ve ever seen.
I assume since you have paddles that you can shift the manual transmission with them. If so, why wouldn't you just do the "no-lift" shift with the paddles?
Paddles in the manual trans is to turn the rev match feature on and off, they don’t change the gears.
What exhaust do you have
Hello again!
How can I get the right mirror down in reverse automatically??
I did read the comment but not get it.
😊 thanks
Sadly I believe it’s a 2SS and zL1 option in the menus
Mac Pettit
Yes i do have 2SS.. but did not know how to.
Hhhhh
Didn't even know about the window.
Did it in my 350Z but I tried it and my 2016 SS didn't do it
Did you know you could change the themes on your screen & app menu
Does that >5K RPM shift trick work on the V6 1LE Manual 6 Speed as well??
there is a v6 1LE?
Very Informative! Is there a way to connect to Android Auto WITHOUT using the USB connection? I have a 2SS 1LE with WiFi
They just upgraded that feature in 2021; will be interesting to see if there is an update / part that will allow this the future
YOU SHOULD MENTION HOW TO GET THE KEY OUT OF THE FOB
how do paddle shifters work on a manual?
It’s for rev matching
Wat rear spolier is that
hey dad lmaooo good video bro
Thanks man! I really appreciate it!
No lift shift sounds awesome!
Awesome tip I did not know that and I’ve had my SS manual for two years, but Silly question do you still need to use your clutch, or do you just shift? Thanks
Fred
Take it from an old-timer, don't do too many of those power shifts. They will ruin the drive train.
No lift shift is sick
Easily one of my favorites!
So you can see what door is open thats funny there's only 2 even if your hood or trunk is open even without that you could probably figure out pretty quickly which one is open
Man i wish chevy made the top 4 dials configurable.
Bad ass camaro
I got the no lift shift on my RS lol
That's good to know! I didn't know that!
Mac Pettit with help of the Cobb AP of course lol
Hands free would be using your mind to open the windows, one day maybe. lol
That No Lift Shift was highly questionable 😂
Vw has keyhole under door handle 10 yrs ago
Here: You can lock the seat belt to keep you in your seat at the track.....
The two dumbs down don’t have a SS or ZL1. 🤣🤣🤣
I like the Second That you don’t have to lift the gas to switch gears I wish my hair is that
👍🏻
