Took a reputable body shop in the Palm Springs, four months to repair the front end of my SS, and we basically what you just did.

Why? I told the repair shop to keep my car as long as possible, I had a rental car on the at-fault driver's dime, and I was driving that rental everywhere running up miles.
@@EDmazeing10 i chose not to do the rental and i get 26$ everyday my cars being worked on instead

Got my '18 A8 SS for 4750 back in 2019. Put about 8k in parts and paint, put about 20k miles on it and sold it for 26k during covid.
Now thats a flip, congrats

Brother, I just bought a Camaro SS exactly the same and with the air bags detonated in the same way, could you explain to me how or where I can buy the replacement of the airbags and the module? Thank you very much and excellent car is very beautiful 🎉
Sure, Thanks for the complement. I sourced my airbags from ebay and had the airbag and seat belts reset with AirBag Restore also through ebay, Make sure to reset the module, seat belts and the tensioners that are on the side of the seats at the floor, Hope this helps

Do you remove the bent iron parts completely and do not need to replace them? Did you design the bar yourself to keep the bumber instead?
I replaced all the parts that were damaged except for the actual bumper just because only the top was slightly damaged and not worth replacing. I didnt design anything all the parts were bolt on

Total cost was 20k
No wonder insurance companies are so quick to total them out. They can rebuild and resell them for higher prices.

The off-center front plate troubles me. I’m thankful I live in a state that doesn’t ruin our cars with front plates. Otherwise, great rebuild!
I agree but the car is already a red flag to cops and we need a front plate here 🥲
I get the front plate requirement, but it should at least be centered.
@bcrocker77 I get it but I wasn't willing to drill the front end of the car
@@bcrocker77 best thing to do is get a plate holder that clips on to the grill. remove it and use it. then when the popo makes you put one then take to DMV simply clip it back on then remove it when you leave the inspection. NO DRILLING
I think it wouldve looked. Etter if you just left everything white honestly. But nonetheless looks good

Man, if I only knew… I could have bought my totaled 2017 camaro ss and fixed it.
For future reference you dont have to give your car up when its totaled, they just will take a portion from your payout, always ask before giving up the car because the amount is most likely less than you would think

Thank you for taking care that car, I lost my Camaro 2 week ago, electrical system is melted because I do not how the water enter to my rear trunk, The estimate for fixing is 7,800 so now is totally lost. More than cars is our dream car. 🥺🫡
