The new one that you talked ordering sounds like what you are wanting. You have said that sometimes that the4710 is underpowered and sounds like this guy wants to get you want in a tractor. The Price of90000 is alot right now. But it is bigger and would probably make the best for your needs. I think you need to order what you want.51000 isn't a bad price just sounds like you are having trouble pulling the trigger and you really like your4710.maybe you will get lucky and be able to get both of them for your fleet and get rid of one of the New Hollands.have a merry Christmas and a good new year. Yeah I’m glad I don’t have to drive by it even though it is close to where we are working but I don’t have to see it every day haha. We got that snow also but the state never called me out so I didn’t get to push but I’ve got a little parking lot pushing coming soon. First white Christmas since I’ve been with my wife so about 10 years is right. We went sledding on Christmas Day.

I bought the MF5710D about 3 weeks ago and love it. The GVWR on the sticker is 12,125 LBS not including wheel weights and loaded tires with water/antifreeze. Got the FL3723 Loader that lifts 5k to 59" and has the combining value to send around 26 GPM to the loader for faster cycles times I do a lot of loader work moving Hay and Pallets of Feed across uneven fields to feeders. The soft ride on the FL Loader keeps the loads from jumping around. The cab has suspension that make for even a better ride. My Wife likes the auto drive in echo mode and Break-to-neutral. I find the quality quite good and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Entirely up to you Dennis, personally I'd add it to the fleet as you suggested, when you can naturally. Though perhaps I'm a bad judge of that because 3 Ford tractors 25hp-65hp 1 skid steer, a side by side, and about 12 cub cadets is a bit much for a 36 acre farm. If I had my way I'd have every trailer type a regular pick up can pull as well. You can never have enough equipment to move other equipment around haha. Regardless of what you choose, I hope you and yours has a Merry Christmas.
My brother and I looked at the 4710 a couple of years ago with a loader no cab. We also looked at the 5711 the same way both with the 12 speed shift. My brother since passed away a year and a half ago. I just bought the 2020 5711 dyna 4 with a cab and FL 3819 loader in his memory. Love the tractor. The dyna 4 is an amazing trans the cab is comfortable good visibility to the 3 point hitch and drawbar. The cab isn’t the Visio one. Ours came with rear wheel weights front fenders and a cab stereo. Loader also has the free float option for soft load carrying. The 5711 has the 4.4 litre 4 cylinder engine which has more reserve power than a 3 cyl with even the same hp. I’ve read lots of good comments on the global series tractors. This one is made in France not China or Brazil.
I have had a 5611 for 5 years no and i do basically the same operation as you hay both round and square. I traded for it specifically for the dyna 4 It is a slick hay tractor.
Dennis I love those global series Massey’s. So simple!!!!! I love the dyna 4 transmission so that looks like the perfect tractor to me. Be a good tractor for just about everything
hope you had a great Christmas and have a good new year. 513 fendt! 160k it could be yours! lol nice with the hay /cattle market a guy doesnt need the top end hydraulics and a lot of them features. after using my massey for a couple chores i cant wait to be able to afford a Fendt or a twin to this one to handle both cattle and row crop. the new 5S looks interesting and not that much more depending how you load it up. when Agco said they are bringing the 5711D to market a lot of us were very excited to see it happen. global series are a great tractor for what they are and adding the dyna shift just made it that much better. tractor shopping is fun and hard to walk away sometimes.
Totally agree with you about MF S-series bad design. Someone made a hick-up when drawing! :D Global cab 5711 is a very nice one with spec you said. Electric heated windshields and wipers? With a big snowblower 110 hp can be running on the edge, but only you know other tractors had managed it before. Swap your old in when you still have a good price. You will not be disappointed! For roadwork removing snow get Nokian Winter tires, they make really a big difference!
Few more thoughts on the 5711 Dennis .The tractor would also be great on the loader.with the brake to neutral and the Dyna 4,it's surprising how much you use the Dyna 4 moving bales especially in the field.More power and weight for mowing and loader work .Hope you had a great Christmas all the best for the new year. I’m from the uk and my uncle got this tractor a year ago with the dyna 4 transmission and it is brilliant to drive, would definitely suggest the upgrade from your 4710 at some point along the line. Merry Christmas
Dennis, I like MF and I have two of them here that my father bought 135 and 263 and they have been very good tractors. I too looked at Massey a little over 2 half years ago and wanted a upgrade to a cab, but Massey was just out of my reach and I ended up with Case IH Farmall 100c for what I could manage. It's done a pretty good job for so far, but have a few problems with the DEF system. I still have both the ones my father bought, and will never get rid of them since they were his. The cab tractors are just too high. Thanks for the videos!
Dennis- You need to check out the new 4700 series options. They have the new Dyna 2 as an option. 24 Speed with speed matching, brake to neutral, and the creeper gear option. I am looking at possibly ordering an open station version of one with the wider tires.

The 5700 global with the Dyna trans looks like a heck of a buy. I’m not a fan of the S series either but I absolutely love the Dyna 4 so that’s the perfect tractor
Thats a nice tractor, I looked at getting a 5613 pretty seriously but ended up with a 6616, mostly for the loader capacity. Its got the brake to neutral feature, really handy for loader work. Can't believe the prices, no matter how often I see them. Anyways, Merry Christmas and happy new year!
i have a hunch just a hunch that this summer the dealers will have much more incentives to offer ,but on the other hand the sticker price probably will be higher .
Trade the deere in on one with IVT....I know North Texas Hay had a 6125 with IVT and loved it. Easy for me to spend your money though 🙂 . Merry Christmas happy new year

Merry Christmas to you and your family here from Salem AL. I'm John Deere fan my self. Massey Ferguson is a nice tractor. I didn't go with them this year because of price and I didn't like the visibility to the bucket. I guess just operator preference.

You should also maybe take a look at the new 4700 coming out. Has a 24x24 transmission and the way I understand it, it’s the standard 12 speed but it’s got a 2 speed powershift making it the 24 speed. Looks pretty sweet. They call it a Dyna 2. Wish they’d bring the Dyna 4 to it but we can’t have everything I guess
Good video! I think if you can get out of the 4710 what you have in it, then great. If not, then I'd be hesitant. $90k for a 100 hp economy tractor is a lot in my opinion! I wasn't looking to trade my 5455 Massey, but I stumbled upon a nice, 10 year old, 120 hp Massey a couple of weeks ago and decided to pull the trigger on it. Dyna 6 transmission, Perkins 6 cylinder power, and less money than a new 4700 series would cost! I do think the 5711 would be on heck of a tractor with the Dyna 4, but the numbers would have to be in my favor, if I were you. On the flip side, I know what you mean about getting a tractor that may be a little big for some of the stuff that you do, and I have the same concern about my situation with getting rid of the smaller 5455, but I think those things usually work out. I had to get used to having a 3/4 ton pickup as a daily driver years ago, I'll also have to get used to having a bigger tractor as my daily driver on the farm. Hope that makes sense, lol. My 4710 was made in China and has been very reliable close to 1000 hours on it.

Thats a nice tractor, I looked at getting a 5613 pretty seriously but ended up with a 6616, mostly for the loader capacity. Its got the brake to neutral feature, really handy for loader work. Can't believe the prices, no matter how often I see them. Anyways, Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Have you seen the video of the 8S tractor Massey has coming out. It’s nice right up there with Deere R series.

Trade the deere in on one with IVT....I know North Texas Hay had a 6125 with IVT and loved it. Easy for me to spend your money though 🙂 . Merry Christmas happy new year

As you could guess Dennis would love to see you driving showing video's of that tractor .Would be the ideal upgrade for what you be looking for .It would be an all round nicer tractor. You should also maybe take a look at the new 4700 coming out. Has a 24x24 transmission and the way I understand it, it’s the standard 12 speed but it’s got a 2 speed powershift making it the 24 speed. Looks pretty sweet. They call it a Dyna 2. Wish they’d bring the Dyna 4 to it but we can’t have everything I guess

Good video! I think if you can get out of the 4710 what you have in it, then great. If not, then I'd be hesitant. $90k for a 100 hp economy tractor is a lot in my opinion! I wasn't looking to trade my 5455 Massey, but I stumbled upon a nice, 10 year old, 120 hp Massey a couple of weeks ago and decided to pull the trigger on it. Dyna 6 transmission, Perkins 6 cylinder power, and less money than a new 4700 series would cost! I do think the 5711 would be on heck of a tractor with the Dyna 4, but the numbers would have to be in my favor, if I were you. On the flip side, I know what you mean about getting a tractor that may be a little big for some of the stuff that you do, and I have the same concern about my situation with getting rid of the smaller 5455, but I think those things usually work out. I had to get used to having a 3/4 ton pickup as a daily driver years ago, I'll also have to get used to having a bigger tractor as my daily driver on the farm. Hope that makes sense, lol.
