- World of Warcraft is having a busy year with Cataclysm Classic and The War Within due to release, as well as Season of Discovery remaining a popular pull for World of Warcraft Classic. However, the demand for the return of Burning Crusade Classic and Wrath of the Lich King Class has begun to stir up once again as World of Warcraft Classic heads into the new era of Cataclysm. But, how likely is it that we will see Burning Crusade Classic again, or will Burning Crusade Classic ever come back? Let's find out.

Phase one of TBC Classic was something really special, the attunement chart was a remarkable addition to the game.
It made for a special play through the first time, although once it was through Outland lacked the content that Northrend has.
An accelerated timeline version of TBC could do well, but you're right about the community needed more time to miss it first.

No. Progression needs to keep PROGRESSING! Just stay 3 expacs or so behind main so ppl who aren’t happy with curr have 3 expac cycles befoee they return to retail when they’ll like it again
My dream is they would keep at least ONE Server, thats all I want. It is more than obvious a bunch of people would play it.

I’d love to do TBC again, a lot of my experience was ruined at first during phase 1 because bg ques were 30min to an hour for one faction, and instant for the other, it took them MONTHS to fix that. Really made me sour because one faction would fully gear in a day of bgs, and the other would wait 40 min for a queue to lose and get 50 honor.
Besides that, I’d love to play
Yeah I can see how that would ruin the experience - hopefully it wouldn't be such an issue if we revisit BC
bro the honor gains were so slow that even with instant queues it was painfully slow, absolutely not 1 day for full gear, it was not accurate to how TBC was originally. i can only imagine how much more painful it was playing with long queues.
@@solidusraiden2502 I’ve got my full BG PvP set in less then a 2 weeks of no life grinding back in OG TBC, it was fairly achievable task. I don’t think TBC classic Honor gain was the same thing, not even close…
Tbc felt special. Had such a unique feeling.
We need a TBC and Wrath Era so badly.

Blizz are saving this one for a rainy day. When cata dies off and the inevitable failure of TWW see sub numbers drop, they can play this ace card.

I loved the original burning crusade. It’s where I met a good amount of friends I still play with today. With that being said, I skipped BC classic. I knew it was going to suck. I took off my rose tinted glasses and realized the gameplay wasn’t why I was so fond of BC. The people were. Unfortunately the people today are a lot different than the people back in original BC. The classic community today has become super min max, it’s unfortunate because the whole reason we wanted classic realms was to relive those days. Blizzard gets a lot of the blame, but the huge number drop offs in classic TBC were because the game play was lacking and so was the community
Same thing here. I had the time of my life during TBC, and when the rerelease came, it was so damn lackluster. No one wanted to do group quests, no one wanted to do dungeon quests, no one wanted to help another out with an elite, mining and herb nodes griefed all the time. After leveling solo till level 65 i just logged off in Zangarmarsh and just didn't bother logging in. People just wanna rush things and do everything with the best efficiency possible and min maxxing the shit out of this 20 year old game. There might be some that enjoy this, but for me it ain't it chief. For that I can log in to retail, but I don't need that.

Oh yeah for sure, think few adjustments especially like banning GDKPs in SoD would worth a treat for future era.
Blizzard are idiots... Imagine farming glaves for 2 years and finally you got it, and then they delete the server... I know that they will not leave server, so I didn't want to even start playing game... Fuck that, when they undo all your work...
No imagine spending so much resources on recreating TBC classic and then just abandoning it and now even having 1 server so fans can play it

They need to shut down sod and see what will be with cata when they do mist in retail.
Maybe add some small balance things like paladin taunt, but nothing major. And go full re release of vanila in to tbc in to wotlk one pvo an done pve server.
After SoD, TBC Era would be a good move, I feel.
Yep I think so - the lull between End of Cata/SoD in early 2025 would be a good time for it!
Personally I won’t play wow again until we get tbc again and it has to be Parma tbc / era
Loved TBC! It's the only iteration of WoW that I played start to finish. Loved the class I played, the spec, the raids, the dungeons, everything. I would go back in a heartbeat and do it all over again.
I would like a era wrath server but just to leave a clone of all my classes

Tbc is the one xpac where all the private servers suck. And then they closed down the official server. I agree it doesn't really make sense right now to launch them back right now though.
Blizzard didnt delete chars, so ur glaves fine, servers should progress or they gonna lose in players numbers, thats why even most privates pretty much allways moving to next expansions or just doin resets in few years.
@@alrightylol not really. I can still go back to the wotlk server i played on over 10 years ago. They don't really do progression like blizzard does. Its really nice to go back and be able to play content as it was originally played.

I think era realms need a huge increase in xp rates
I think it would be good to have the option of one - the same way you can turn on/off the xp buff in SoD.
You will see burning crusade I.n hardcore and sod and maybe basic servers relaunched as the og classic get closer and closer to retail. A big chunk of classic players are here to see expansions hey missed out on
Tbc would be nice since its classic immersiveness is still there unlike cata
They really should have more server options. If you wanna play _____ expansion, Blizzard should work to provide that option.
I hope SoD will progress on to BC SoD but that ain't BC Era.

Turns in wow sod clasic servers into wpw sod tbc servers.
They are following EverQuest’s formula just at a way slower rate, a lot of classic players don’t even play retail and are extra subs and a lot of money, eq every year ish once they reach the planes of power expansion launches 2. New servers one base and one gimmick server, all the tlp servers keep going at a 3 month level cap raise 2 month. Non level cap raise until they reach retail and merge with retail servers. People enjoy seeing expansions they never saw, and swap up mains on the new servers to play from a different perspective, they will continue doing sod hardcore and regular classic h til they reach retail and merge chars over, every 1.5 years they launch a new expansion. And so far a gimmicked. Version of the game too
Cataclysm is not classic to me... I wish they would keep a couple servers open for TBC and WOTLK like they did vanilla, and add in the new faction balancing they did for SOD PvP realms.
I think a lot of people feel that way, but I’m sure we’ll see BC back early next year 🙌🏻
I don’t think people want to play TBC at 1x exp anymore. At least not very many.
I think the optional XP buffs they implement which can be turned off at innkeepers would be a great addition if they brought BC back.

blizz gonna make it happen with season of discovery. were in phase 3 right now, max lvl 50. gonna be two phases on 60 and then prolly gonna be phase 6 in TBC. ill bet my life on that. With new runes and remade dungeons in outlands. gonna be legend
Unsure how I'd feel about SoD BC - I'd definitely try it if they went that way though!
