How to make all-natural perfume

Reagents and equipment: small spray bottle, 10mL unscented base oil (such as almond oil), orange zest, cinnamon sticks, anise, glitter.
Pour the base oil in a small spray bottle, add some orange zest, a cinnamon stick, a piece of anise, and glitter. Mix thoroughly.
As essential oils are soluble in fats, the oils in the orange zest, cinnamon, and anise dissolve in the base oil. The process of dissolving certain substances from a solution or dry mixture in a suitable solvent is called extraction. The previously-unscented oil now has a pleasant natural aroma. Their lightness and subtlety set them apart from alcohol-based fragrances. Experiment by adding whatever you want to the base - for instance, visit a spice shop or buy your favorite fruits.
Safety precautions: Do not eat! Do not ignite! Do not apply to clothing; the oils will leave greasy marks! Possible allergens.

Use essential oils for this, not whole raw citrus peel. Don't use cinnamon on your skin it will probably burn. Whomever moderates this channel, please stop showing people the wrong way to do things.

False. That cinnamon isn’t powdered, only the scent of the Cinnamon will be realised into the oil.

You would need to dry the orange peel If you felt you wanted to make this adding anything with moisture to oil will make it mold.
This scent will last a solid 3 seconds
Please don't fool people. This will create molds and give your perfume an awful rotten smell.

Correct it's an infusion it's not perfume and everything must be dry to do it this way. And it should be ground fine if you want to get any scent out of it. Please skip the glitter. Weather is causing is much problem as the plastic pulp

This is not perfume this is oil possibly taking on a light scent of something. If it doesn't become moldy the glitter well anyway. Distilling the smell of anything takes a lot more than oil. The word perfume is what set me off I guess it's extremely inaccurate. Getting the oils out of anything takes pretty nasty chemicals and a steaming process with the proper equipment. You could say trying to infuse oil with??? The thinner the oil the better and mashing dried everything is best. Then strain. Skip the glitter. It causes more problems then you can imagine
It doesn't require "nasty" chemicals to extract essential oils from plants. It may be a method used by some. But it's the chosen method for most. Distilled is the preferred method of the majority of essential oil producers. The "nasty" chemicals used by some tho, are typically natural, like alcohols, or natural gases. Which aren't present in the final product in most cases.

You can get lab equipments and make your essential oils. Then be mixing them until you get a significant scent.

You should use a preservative cuz of the oils and orange zest or any fruit peel have water and over time it bacteria will grow.

Get essential oils ,lime essential oil is beautiful.... cinnamon you have to be careful its classed as a hot oil .certain oils you have to be careful with.

I tried this step by step and it does not work unfortunately. The smell did not come through.
Because a good perfume requires essential oils in good concentration which you can't extract from small amount of organic stuff

Do not rub your wrists together once you put perfume on. It weakens the scent. So it won't last as long. ☺️

Just because of glitter you can't call this product "all-natural". It contains micro-plastic and does more harm to the environment that any conventional ("non-natural") perfume.

@Elizabeth Elijah I believe you can use olive oil. If you have a and essential oil that needs a carrier oil then you are better off using almond oil. Also, olive oil might have a stronger smell so your perfume might now end up like how you want it if you use olive oil.
