Update, arrived basically altogether same day in 3 different packages, which i thought it was gonna take more time for the top to arrive but was good, assembly wasn't too bad, took a little while but eh was pretty straightforward It's been about 2 weeks now, arrived just after I saw the video cannot say anything really to fault with it so far, very solid and I'm very happy so can recommend for the moment
Nice review. I can't quite get my head around the range. There are a number of models which, apart from a relatively small difference in load capacity and height levels, don't seem to be very much different from one another as you might expect - but the oddity is that the prices vary wildly and for no apparent reason. For example, the E2Q is currently on sale at £299 (UK prices) and the E7 Pro at £479, almost double the price. The E7 Pro has 10kg more weight capacity and is faster 40mm/sec vs 25mm/sec and it goes as high as 190cm vs 160cm but why would you want to go higher than 160cm? That would be about level with my forehead. The guarantee is double, 10yr vs 5yr but then you're paying nearly twice as much for it. But to offset that the E2Q, with 4 legs/pillars instead of 2 on the E7 Pro, looks to be the more sturdy of the two so why would the E7 Pro cost so much more? It doesn't make any sense.
have a different model, i have four legs, and my wabbled a little, i was upset and wondered if i made a mistake buying it. Putting it together also took me a long time, i didn't have a power tool, and i bought one and was able to do it, it was heavy as hell, but i managed to do it all bymyself and it made me feel really good. I felt it was hard and after doing it, i felt stupid, like it can't be any easier , why did i have trouble. Next day i fell in love with it, i think you would have liked mine better, it doesn't move, but why your using it, matters, i need to stop sitting down and want to stand up. I have a small desk where i can be on the couch and use it, without a need to buy this. I paid $600, My mom was asking me if i could sell it.. lol i could send it back but i like it. I thought my biggest problem would be if it goes up and down, i thought the engine and the staff was not connecting and you had to move it a little, making it go up, so after installing it, if anything is wrong, like my table is not flat 100%. It must have been that problem or maybe i paid less and got a defective product. Why would they sale it lower when they had the same one for over $1000. I was going to give up on having a desk that goes up, in the past i have seen the best ones where in the thousands of dollars, one that i recently saw was $7000. when my table is down, it's very sturdy, even up.. i just wanted to not feel anything move. Yours moves.. again.. everyone situation is different.
very detailed video, i appreciate it a lot :D i did have a question, was it wobbly with the original chipboard on it? or do you think that the wobble has nothing to do with the top thats being used on it? Thanks in advance (and sorry for the extremely late comment)
Thanks for the honest review, I need a new desk. Not convinced with these just yet and they need to streamline their product range way too many models.
Mine shakes a bit but enough for me to notice. I also have a massive oversized desk so I'm trying to work out a way to limit the shaking. I suspect having additional weight at the back of the desk closer to the centre of mass will reduce wobble from typing.
How is the cross bar under the desk? To you often bump your knees against it? Can you slide under the desk while sitting on your chair without hitting your knees against it?
How difficult was it to attach the ikea top without the predrilled holes to the frame? I'm looking to use my own desktop and attach it to the frame but am unsure if that would be too difficult without knowing the proper positioning of the frame to the desk. Thank you!
The ikea table top was pretty easy to drill into if you have some power tools on hand. I had to measure the sides of the desk to get the frame aligned and got a pencil to mark the spaces I wanted to drill into. What kind of table top are you thinking of getting?
Thank you for the thorough review highlighting FlexiSpot's impressive features. The pre-drilled holes certainly simplify the assembly process. I particularly value its adjustable height feature, which enables seamless transitions between sitting and standing positions.
Bro why so stiff with the review... 5:30 Should have been : "the desk that I had before, was a standing desk only and it was made by a friend of mine. Loved that desk, used it for years, and I knew it was time for me to sit the f*ck down"
Thank you for the stability check !
Your welcome! Thanks for watching!
Subscribed when you sat on it in the shake test, seem very genuine :) I've ordered mine recently hopefully it's pretty good

how is this honest review when you have affiliate links to the models?
Do you have a link for the white table top you ended up choosing? Nice video, thanks for the review!
Thank you! I got the white table top from Ikea. www.ikea.com/us/en/p/lilltraesk-countertop-white-laminate-50280828/
Do you recommend having a 72x30 or maybe 72x25? Is 25” depth enough?

does it shake when you type while standing? or only when you deliberately try and shake it?
Not a lot of shake while typing
Mine shakes a bit but enough for me to notice. I also have a massive oversized desk so I'm trying to work out a way to limit the shaking. I suspect having additional weight at the back of the desk closer to the centre of mass will reduce wobble from typing.
How is the cross bar under the desk? To you often bump your knees against it? Can you slide under the desk while sitting on your chair without hitting your knees against it?
I was wondering this too
there's also a mount in the shape or a C so you get more room for your legs
Great question! The crossbar doesn't hit my knees when sitting
After some Time. Would you say, that the shaking is a problem? Or doesnt it matter to mutch in daily use?
Nope, I don't notice the shake when working at the desk.
does it wobble when you use normally, e.g., typing both when you sit and stand, please?
No the wobble is less noticeable for daily use
Hi, great video
What is the reference of your monitor stand please
Look very nice
What size was the White IKEA desktop?
It's 74 x 25.5

@@TonyJeffers Thanks for the reply! Probably either the Karlby or a DIY Butcher Block
@@shr3k-c2t I just bought myself a karlby for my e7 pro and I can let you know if it works for me. I got the walnut one.
@@NotReact1on how was it?
Thanks a lot for the very extensive review! Your chair is very nice, could you share the reference please? :)
Great video man, thanks
Thanks! I really appreciate that!

Broo your monitor is way too high lol, the top of the monitor should be at eye level
Finding it hard to take your opinion on the matter of ergonomics seriously now lol
How high is your monitor?
You aint in the gym enough if 75lbs is hulking it out for you.. that should be light weight for you my guy.
Haha yeah possibly
Unnecessary but ok
