As a self-diagnosed door enthusiast, I am appalled.
The standard door is the standard for a reason! This masterpiece of a door can do it all: soundproofing, thermal insulation, security, easy installation, easy maintenance, ease of use! And all that at a low price point compared to all the other doors!
A good door you can rely on! It keeps the cold out in the winter, it keeps the heat out in the summer, it keeps the burglars out and your valuables safe, it's cheap and you don't need to open up the wall beyond the usual hole for the door frame. It's so easy to open, too! Both hands full? No problem, the door handle can be used with your hips, belly, feet, whatever! Even cats can figure that out, and you install the handle rotated by 90 degrees if you want to make it cat-proof.
The standard door is also very sturdy and isn't susceptible to damage unlike the inferior sliding door and the unnecessarily complicated "innovation" door. The more moving parts you have, the easier it is to break. Nothing beats the standard solid door with tried and true hinges.
I am so disappointed to see man's true best friend so utterly disrespected!
The only place a standard door is good for is the front door. It's a boring door with, as said in the video, little creativity. It's also very easy to pinch your fingers in if you're in a rush. Once, I was going to the kitchen from my room and I slammed my finger in one these doors and nearly threw up from the pain. Theses doors are utterly bad when compared to other doors like attic doors, revolving doors, or automatic doors and my opinion cannot and will not be changed.
Like way is he mad that the standard door is boring? It’s standard for a reason, revolving doors are only practical for an entrance/exit

I don't like spinning doors for the sole reason that they are usually automated where I'm from. And automated Spinning doors SUCK.
You have to slow down your walking speed and even stand still and wait for it to turn enough so you can step in and out of it.
But spinning doors you can spin yourself are amazing.

Yeah I live in Australia, for us the main reason of screen doors: Breeze. They keep the house breezy, keep out bugs (which we have lots of) and are also more resistant to hammers and nukes than normal wooden doors (if you got CrimSafe not that shitty floppy shit)

I think there's an unappreciated use of the barn door, which is to section of two "public" areas of the house. It helps muffle the noises and separate the lighting between them, but you can also be aware of when someone is using the other room like "oh my boyfriend is making food in the kitchen i can go say hi"

The handle on the sliding door the ice cream sandwich used is perhaps the worst kind of handle to exist, followed only by the handle that is almost exactly the same, but a rectangle instead of a circle
As someone who is living in a house where EVERY SINGLE DOOR LEADING TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD HAS THE HANDLE BROKEN IN SOME WAY OR FORM, I completely agree.
I’m so upset they never mentioned bulkheads, one of the few S-tier doors. The turny bit on some of them is godlike door superiority. It’s a lock and a handle combined.

I just recently started watching content by this guy, and I gotta say, the execution of everything here is so impressive to me. The switching of expressions on sticks timed with the audio, the simple yet well crafted room layout of cardboard and even the little green screen patch so his computer displays video like an actual one. It’s all so creative.

I lived in the tropics at one point on the 7th floor. The weather never changed throughout the whole year, and we had basically a screen door, and the cross-breezes we got in our house were just wonderful.

I lived with some folks once and they had an attic door.
Not ONLY did the spring not work right, but the lock was shit too.
So in the middle of the night you would hear this loud ass *BANG*. "Did someone break in?" "Did someone fall?" "WAS THERE A FUCKING GUNSHOT?" Then you would see the attic door open and do one of 2 things:
1. Go back to bed because you know that this door is retarded.
2. GO INTO THE ATTIC with your already piss stained pants trying to find out what's up, then not be able to sleep for the rest of the night.

I gotta agree with Andy regarding sliding doors. I’ve lived in several places all of which that had some form of sliding door and that door was always the door that broke. I currently live in a house with two sliding doors, both are broken. And they will stay broken because fixing them would require that I hire someone to literally tear out my wall to replace the mechanism and/or door.

I love the style of these filler videos, on the surface it appears really low effort (I mean it's a fucking puppet show) but then you get hit with all these cool cardboard props and wacky sound effects and so much character and charm stuffed into every corner, it's ridiculous how much effort you actually put into these. they're very good 10/10

I like how they both just,,, completely miss the purpose of an attic door. As someone who had an attic door in the past, it was nice to have access to an additional storage place. We kept holiday decorations in boxes up in the attic. Now I live in a house that has a ton of attic space, but the only access is a small cutout in our narrow pantry that we have to bring a ladder to, lift the cutout out of place, and squeeze into. Its an overall hassle and process to climb up there, (Had to go up to fix our pocket door which is basically a sliding door/barn door hybrid), and so instead our spare room became our storage room because our huge amount of attic space is limited by its inaccessibility that an attic door would fix.

I hate sliding doors because they never latch properly and they creak/move when the air pressure changes. Not a happy feeling when your trying to take a dump knowing someone could be just waiting on the other side.
@@DrawinskyMoon THANK YOU! SOMEONE SAID IT! Sliding doors are literally HELL. They do not latch, some dont have upper and lower railing so when you push on then they swing on the upper rail. SOME DONT EVEN HAVE HANDLES! They are also terrible for barricading yourself in or people out of something and if your taking a shit they offer no privacy at all cause half the time even it you lock it you breath and it fall and they someone stands there being like hey while your like wft and their like shoot this awky and then yall slowly back away and it leaves you wanting to die in a hole. Like all the holes, if its a hole ya wanna die in it cause someone saw you shit and everything is TERRIBLE

This is the S tier content I need in my life
Hearing high quality rips of music out of nowhere in the background of youtube videos i watch is great.
Everytime I do, I try to hunt down the rip in question to check it out for myself if I don't recognize it. The one at 6:24 stumped me for a second, as I searched youtube for all rips of both Sans. (undertale and deltarune) as well as all rips of Buy Somethin' Will Ya and couldn't find it. Had to resort to the wiki, turns out its a rip of the unused file in hiveswap, mus.muscles, which is just Sans. I believe the reason all occurences of Sans. have their file name as mus.muscles or some variation of it is because it was originally an unused homestuck track that was recycled in classic Toby fasion.

Am I the only one who gets inCREDIBLY anxious while using a spinning door? Like I’m talking it’s the same feeling of using an elevator. They’re both so scary for no reason?
Only bad elevators are scary. I had one at college once that had an incorrectly listed carrying capacity, and instead of updating the sign or fixing the elevator, the maintenance guy just yelled at the group in the elevator and told them not to put that many people in the elevator again
For me it's because of that scene in finding nemo where he had to put that rock in there or become mincemeat
It's because you have to keep walking at a certain speed or you'll get hit in the back by the door
