Honey. It’s 2024 and people have internet and can verify your BS. They ain’t breaking that easy on their own. You either had it in hard shell case or has screen/keyboard protector that are often reasons screens break on MacBooks.
Just a suggestion bro, connecting a display just to enlarge your window will not add any value. Better for you to also connect the keyboard and mouse to show the use case on the desk setup. Great video tho, thanks!

Over 2 years into my surface pro 8 and may have to wait for the next iteration of surface before I considering buying a new laptop. Currently Running surface pro 8 I5 with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD.
The windows hello has a lot of issues, especially in the i5, 246 gb, 8gb ram. It doesnt pick up and then just shows light on the camera region and that light never goes away. They need to fix that!

Hey, does the pen feel uncomfortable to use since it's not in a circular shape like a regular pen? Also does your hand click/interact with the screen while it's resting on the screen when you're drawing/writing? Thanks
I think a huge problem is the side button sitting too high which makes it very uncomfortable to press. And yes it is weird to write with it, i prefer the old surface pen by a lot. It is just not as comfortable and my writing is actually more ugly...
I find the pen is a great stylus experience. However, Microsoft still doesn't seem to be selling replacement tips. I've found some off market, but they don't always work.

After my experiences with surface pro 5 I would not recommend any of the products from the line. Battery replacement 300€ , not official because Microsoft says if the battery is dead just buy a new notebook. I’m on my second charger. Battery life not more than 6 hours when it was new. Cool whining etc, etc

Terrible for school. Taking notes on it battery won’t last 1 class. Gets laggy even on lowest setting. Not that great as a regular laptop either. I was a firm believer of two in ones but no. If your looking for a two in one there is no hope I was once in y’all’s shoes looking for one but is very disappointed. I had a SP 2 and 5 while in college. Both were great. No issues. I did have them plugged into a power source since I was in multiple classes back-to-back for hours. Windows 10 is way more user friendly than 8.1….especially using multiple programs. Back then, iPads were useless. My college let me video record lectures. I used my SP to do that while taking notes (handwritten and typing on keyboard) in PowerPoint. Couldn’t do that on an iPad… No problems with either device. For me, SP is better, especially since it runs actual programs not just apps…and when using multiple programs (switching between them is easier). Also, the SP devices always worked with a “pen”. The pen designed for the SP from Microsoft has the “eraser” part dedicated for multiple uses: erasing ink when writing/drawing, clicking the eraser one/twice/holding down for a few seconds opens up 3 different assigned programs. The middle button near the tip of the pen is great when interacting with links in MS Edge: press and hold the button, tap a link with the tip of the pen, and let go of the button - the “right click menu” opens up to allow you to open links in a new tab or new window, etc. And then the ports…more ports on a SP device than an iPad… Not to mention the price tag: SP devices are cheaper price-wise than iPads are, especially when bundled with a keyboard and pen. (16 gigs ram > 8 gigs ram).
Disappointed with mine. It sucks to use with touch-to the point that I don't use it anymore. (the worst touch screen experience I have had). The battery is horrible. The battery can go dead after a couple hours of youtube. :( The display was a huge let down. High resolution, but dark and does not pop. Worst of all, it has locked up and crashed a dozen times. Then I got a Samsung S9. OMG. The screen on the Samsung amazes me every time! The S9 POPS. It is high resolution, colorful, and bright. It still exceeds my expectations. The S9 hold a charge forever and charges fast. It was not crashed once. And the touch is easy to use- like my phone.
However reads this comment, you have been warned! Do not buy any Microsoft garbage, if there's any issues with yours while in warranty... Microsoft expect you to accept a refurbished unit as replacement!!! You got that right, you buy a brand new sealed one and if the screen flickers you'll get a refurbished unit, that's literally what happened with mine after only 3 weeks since bought. You'll remember this comment, don't fall for Microsoft lineup.
I think i regret my dad buying me this for school. Its not bad but for the price to me is not worth it. Its a good laptop but it wasnt worth his money when samsung s9 pro that can turn into a laptop like the surface is worth around the same and does much better according to the reviews. Im using this current surface windows and i ran into issues that rly pained me like the cameras didnt move, low battery life. But i want to continue using it to make my dads money worth. I tho wish i can go bsck in time and switch to samsung tab. Just putting this down, i like it so far, the surface does the minimum i require to do like school work at best

Surface pros are really laptops that Microsoft sells as tablets, while Ipads are tablets that apple sells as laptop substitutes. Surface battery life is crap (I’ve got 3 but no more). If you want a tablet buy an Ipad, but if you look for a laptop with great battery life buy a Dell.
I’ve had my surface laptop go 1st gen for almost 3 years now without issues, except a few months ago where in some games where the graphics start glitching, but I fixed it with vsync.

bro u probably threw it on the floor 10 times a day as hard as u could for that beast of a laptop to break.

It's a full on computer in tablet form it runs all them, I have a older model and mines came out the box with most of that software
