    GUYS G-ALPHA IS STILL MEMBRANE BOUND.... even if the graph visualises it loose and floating in the cytoplasm it is still membrane bound in reality.

    and why didn't she call it the beta gamma complex earlier, she mentioned it later and didn't explain anything

      when the alpha subunit was inactive, the alpha, beta and gamma are inactive trimer and when alpha gets activated then alpha dissociates from beta and gamma subunits, which then becomes gamma complex. no big deal.
