New House Tour & Moving into Our Rental House!

- This year we wanted to have our own place to live and work out of so that we aren't constantly bouncing between houses, forgetting tools, and wasting time! While we thought about buying, we really sat and decided that right now it would be in our best interest to rent a home that met our current needs. This will also allow us to get the AirBNB home up and running VERY soon since neither of us will be living there and we'll be able to get the work done!

They want to do a longer term rental on the bottom, so they are going to refurbished downs stairs and don't want to live in a construction

This house is so similar to the first house I bought. It built in 1961 and was also a bi level with the wrought iron railing. It was a cute house! Whatever happened to the last house you were renting?
Neiman's family lives there and rents it instead! they needed a place so they took over the lease for us. this house is much better for us and better location!

Please stop putting Neiman down. You may think it is ok because it is "funny", but it makes Neiman look like a flunkey. If you want to be the boss and have a flunkey you are on the right track, but if you want to have a lifelong relationship that builds you both, stop the funny put downs. Furnished Finder is a site to find medium term renters (3-6 months). Lots of traveling medical professionals who want a fully furnished place. They have good careers and can pay more. Better than the constant AirBnB churn and cleaning. Better margins than a traditional long term tenant.
The air bnb has it's own entrance.

I know someone with a house that has the same layout. You CAN open up the kitchen .. they just made two large openings and it looks out into the dining area and living room. It had half walls..like pony walls, I think they call it. It looks great.Congratulations you two!!!!

There was a video about a month ago on the other channel at the end, they had a written statement basically stating they really love one another and they want to do life together. They could not imagine life without one another.

I’ve been wondering how affordable this must be given the earlier video about paying off debt. The mortgage on the house in your names, plus all the contractors and renovations being done on it as well as utilities and now rent at this new place plus more utilities. I know you explained some of why you moved back into your parents and now there was no heat at the garage at the house in your name but just wondering how this is affordable and allowing you to pay off debt .

@@monicariske yeah I agree. It doesn’t make sense to be paying on a house you own and renting another one. The Airbnb isn’t bringing any income either so it’s not like they are making money on it. My guess is it’s for sale or is about to be put up for sale . Seems to me also the house must be about paid off because even with the income of yt I wouldn’t think too many could afford a house and rent and cars etc. At least not the average person.

That bathroom is called a bath and three-quarters or a french bath. I had one and loved it. Wonderful place to go forward with your plans. Looking forward to all your furniture flips. It doesn't have to all be done quickly. You'll get there together.
‘Master ‘ bedroom is an offensive term. They are called main bedrooms now.

Daaaaannng people!!!! Just reading some of your nasty comments and wondering if any of you have, actually, been following this beautiful couple for more than a day?!?!? They have it more together than my husband and I do and we are 72 and 82. They are a team, that have proven themselves, over a period of time! They are smart and don’t take anything for granted. They work, very, hard and have good strategies for a great future. No worries. They got this! And they are equipped and able.

I rented a house in Vancouver British Columbia that had a bathroom set up exactly like that. It’s actually kind of ingenious.
Love how you are splitting up the videos on two different channels. Of course the FFT channel is super but I LOVE watching you guys work on the houses
It would make sense for them to rent a house to live in and keep the apartments as a business venture IF,
1)they keep both apartments rented on a regular basis
2) they can do some sort of work from their rental house property and it seems they do furniture flipping perhaps restoration
3] they do not hire a property management company but do the management and rental work themselves
Here is how it would work
* $2,000/ week / unit both rented $4,000 weekly or $16,000/ month -
* $4,200 in expenses/ maintenance / month for both units gives $11,800.00 in income / month
* the house they are renting plus expenses $2,800/ month leaves $9,800 for income
That makes sense at least to me

I have a suggestion for your consideration if the bedroom's measurements allow. What do you think about not putting the bed backed up to the window, but backed up on the wall to the left of the window? This opens the free flow of light from the window across the room. You can also see and enjoy the light from your bed. And, you have created lovely art to hang on the wall above the bed.
What happened to the last rental house that you moved into that had a big garage or building to work in? I can’t keep up with you too so now basically you’ll have three houses
Neiman's family lives in that house. so we technically have 2 houses. one where we live and work and one we will be renting out as airbnb

I love the house!!!!! Funny thing, your floor plan upstairs is exactly the same as my husband and my first home. We even had the same front door! However our downstairs had 3 bedrooms and a bath! You are going to love the space!!!

What a great rental house. What year was it built? Looks mid century but it’s a split level. Very roomy. I’d love to rent something that size while we wait to purchase our new place but it would be quite expensive.
