Our last rental before we bought a house was a 1930s home with arch doorways, and I loved it. A Christmas tree in your home will be beautiful. That's the first thing I thought about when we moved apartments and then got into the home-buying process.
Hey there! For the lamp issue, just put some thick books under it and you can cover them with a table napkin or runner to hide them. I’ve done this countless times for different lamps 😊

I love it…I love living spaces with lots of character and specially, a backyard space for our beloved creatures.
If you don’t mind me sharing some ideas…
I would place the plant in the LR somewhere else and keep just the floor lamp in that corner.
Swap the rattan shelves to your “office” area and place the blanket ladder where the rattan shelves were 👌
You look absolutely stunning at the end of the video. You are positively glowing. Watching your videos brings me joy. You are so peaceful and just exude it throughout. I'm so happy that y'all were able to find the perfect home. I love what you have done so far and can't wait to see more!

Pregnancy pillow is a MUST! The contouring is so much better than just a large normal pillow!
You can move the plant to the left of the couch where the blankets are, move the blankets to the right of the TV and keep the light in that corner x

God is so so good!🙌 I found out this January that I was pregnant and having to find a new home on short amount of time was not easy but we managed! It’s amazing how everything comes into place at the right moment💛

I bought a sturdy plant stand from Target’s 1,3,5 section and I think it would work super well as a riser for that cute living room lamp!

This is so sweet. I’m pregnant with my first baby too and am 18 weeks! To answer your pregnancy pillow recommendations, I got the long baby bub pillow and have really liked it. I do want to order a smaller one for behind my back to help with support. The baby bub pillow has been so nice though with having to sleep on my side and help with lower back/hip pain!
i LOVE that house!! I'm renting an older home too and love it so much, you're so inspiring me to decorate more and romanticize it! i remember the first time my dog got to run in the backyard for the first time after apartment living for so long 🥲& the bump is bumpin fr! sooo cute, I'm 9 weeks and starting to kinda show, i can't wait to fully have a bump like this💕💕
I’m 21 weeks right now and the pillow I’m loving is a Oternal pregnancy pillow from Amazon! It’s essentially 2 pillows attached so it keeps me on my side and gives back support and then I had a normal looking pregnancy pillow that just didn’t give me the back support and I use that on my left side to lay my head on and put between my legs for extra support but the smaller one has been wonderful for keeping me on my sides I usually only wake up once on my back
