How many HP is the new engine? It looks pretty sweet. Sounds good too.🇺🇸

We have no clue the power of the engine. Got it from a nice older man who builds motors in his spare time after retirement and all we know is she seems well built and very responsive even with all time 4x4. This weekend we are hoping to start the process to build the full custom exhaust rather than just straight headers so hopefully some shorts and videos on that!

Looks like fun to me. I love fixin up old chevys. Did you ever use fluid film to protect the bottom side of the cab, inside rocker panels, cab corners and frame and so on?

It has been a blast with some frustration sprinkled in from time to time! Nowhere near done yet! But, no I have never used fluid film and never heard of it until reading your comment! Will look into it to help preserve the rockers and when we pull the bed too fix the rust there. Will try and put it on the frame when the time comes!

@@NeverDoneProjects I like the bedliner stuff. But the tricky part is keeping moisture %100 out. If any moisture gets in behind that rubber bed liner stuff, the truck will rust from the inside. Fluid film is similar to oil. But it doesn't drip or dry. It's made to eliminate rust

I will have to look into that! The bed liner we will probably use for the bed was to help close the holes in the floor since the material will bond to itself just like metal but you're absolutely correct, we will have our work cut out for us to keep moisture away!

@@NeverDoneProjects I like the name of your channel haha. That's how I feel about my 72 K20 chevy truck I'm restoring. Never done 😆
