My experience with building my trident was "Scope creep 101." How quickly my budget was destroyed was hilarious. I feel better knowing im not alone, looking forward to the tuning video!
I mainly did it so that my ugly-asf backers won't be visible when I install them in a future video 🤣Xol doesn't require flipped rails, but other toolheads like Mjolnir and Atrocity do
please convert your camera audio to mono next time. It's hard to listen to the video in headphones when you're speaking directly into my left ear. Voiceover audio is good though.
Interesting, will definitely do that for the next video. I film all the talking segments just on my phone, it might just be the way that I hold my phone that causes everything to be from the left
IPA for cleaning rails isn't good. U want mineral spirits (wont work with PFPE grease.)
I love u mitsubishimakes
I didn't know this, thanks for the tip!
I believe that ordinary WD40 will do same service with washing.
"While we're in here" is one of the most dangerous phrases in the English language.
But only a close 2nd after "I mean come on, how hard can it really be
Always like when I find another Canadian 3D printing RUclipsr. Can understand the pain of shipping costs.
Greetings from Ottawa.

Thanks for watching. Im sure I have plenty of scope creeping in my future!
What's the point of the reverse mounted Y rails? Since we barelly put some load on them anyway.
Nice vid !!
You didn't explain why you went with top Y rails, is it because of Xol ?

this gets me a bit of a motivation to start giving my simplecore some TLC. Thanks. She's a bit tired, and doesn't even have a name yet. 😂
Wish I could've done inverted electronics on mine. The belts are a pain to run either way, the double shear looks sick.
I had this for 2.5 years and never removed the peel…
Same except I never installed the bottom panel 😂
That was me too! Very glad I kept it though
Great update. Thanks for keeping me motivated. :]
Amazing. Your xol is an old Gen though.
It is. I don't like the belt clips in the new version so I decided to just stick with the old one.
Archetype has better belt clips ;)
@@bwnance Clamps 4 Lyfe, sorry bwnance
@@mitsubishimakes enjoy wrecking belts :P
@@bwnance You think scarecrow clamps crush belts?
Nice build 👍Amazing tripple z-axis. Maybe something I should bear in mind for my HyperCube as the heatbed became to heavy for two stepper motors :)
i'm currently planning to do some work on my 2.4 when i have a week or two of time, am worried its gonna turn into something like this XD
Its well worth it in the end, I assure you! I already have more upgrades planned 🤣🤣
I wanna see IS graphs
I'll include both IS graphs in a before/after with monolith :)
@@mitsubishimakes I forgot you were doing that
interested in another video? YES!
"... And when I got there, I figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on going..." :D
very cool video!!!
cool thumbnail bro
Yes the world needs better basic tuning vids, please, be the change we need in the world.
nice job
One does not simply build a printer and be content.
Let’s go, nice job 🔥
Nice!

Not sure what you're confused about, can you elaborate?
thought it was an easy project... we've all been there too many times
wait im mentioned here

3/10 plastic pull
Ooh, a tough crowd I see
@@mitsubishimakes no shame in it. Wasn't your fault the plastic was inconsistently adhesive
