Hikoki, Metabo HPT, NR1890DC will not turn on, switch dead.

These Hikoki nail guns or Metabo HPT in the States, are a power nail gun are and are slow taking the top spot from paslode.
Luckily the quality of the guns is as good as the performance, as I rarly get them in for repair.
This one would not switch in at all. no light would come on.
The problem is actualy a very simple one.
Insidenthe gun there is a 40amp changeable fuse. Used to protect the controler in case of overload.
The fuse simply popped and needed replacing.
It's a nice feature to have in any tool, and saved one customer from replacing an expensive controler.

Hey man, I really hope this gets to you and hope you might be able to help with this.
I have this same issue on my 21 degree 36v cordless plastic strip framing nailer | metabo hpt nr3690dr but there's no visible fuse like in this gun. Not sure if you've came across this issue on one of these guns or would have any suggestions at where to look to fix it. Thanks in advance

Well considering how much a Metabo breaks and you need to be a tool mechanic to keep it running I would warn anyone to not purchase a Metabo battery operated nail gun. Piece of shit. If it can’t stand up to a small job around the house a couple of times a year it’s not worth the hundreds it cost
