Gonna look great! Daily chores + drainage field + tractor painting (+ video making/editing)…..you’ve been busy!! Thanks for sharing your projects with us!
well Pete , i just wanted to tell you i really enjoyed watching your series on the 856 , i grew up on the farm and my Grandpa bought a brand new 756 in 1969 , i loved that tractor ! i really enjoy watching you and your wife on your channel !
Pete, your skill set is absolutely remarkable. I have never seen a person who knows how to solve so many problems in so many seemingly unrelated topics.
Absolutely, amazing you're Pete. Thank you much for taking us along while you paint your Farmall 856. I can't wait until you put it all together and turn the key!!!!🤗
Pete, Can't wait to see the finished refurbishment of the 856. I love watching you restoring these tractors that you own. Keep doing the amazing work you do. Wish there was a way to give you more than 1 thumbs up with your restorations.
Always appreciate your practical explanations of things that can get complicated or overly detailed. You seem to know where to draw the line. It's really helpful.
Your knowledge, skills and patience amaze me. These restoration videos are my favorite Unfortunately I lack the knowledge, skills and patience to do this kind of work myself so I let you do it Pete and it comes out perfect every time.
Thank you for sharing the painting of your tractor Pete. When you speed up the video and add music it looks like you're dancing. You were really cutting a rug. Lol. The tractor looks amazing. Truly does.
As always, she looks beautiful Pete! I just spent 20 minutes watching the best farmer on RUclips paint a tractor. And I would do it all over again! I wish the gentleman who sold it to you could see her now!
Brings back memories of watching my grandfather paint cars in his autobody shop in the 1960's. Used to watch him work with lead sticks to fill panels...that was an art back in the day.
Color looks good to me. The enthusiasm that you have for taking your tractors apart and rebuilding them inspired me to take apart an old mechanic vise, my grandfather had, that wasn’t working and rebuild it. I know it’s not a tractor but it is a start. Thanks
Pete when I sit and watch any of your videos I swear it just like watching my grandpa work you go at a nice and easy pace on anything you do, but unfortunately we just lost him yesterday afternoon from pancreatic cancer and a list of other illnesses if you guys could’ve met it would’ve been like talking in a mirror anyway I hope you continue making videos for years to come and I hope to watch your farm grow and change with the time thanks for everything
Now are Sunday morning will be complete. Pete… thank you for your videos. My wife and I look forward to Sunday mornings. It is our ritual. Have a blessed week.
Always enjoy the tractor restoration videos and this is no exception. My 1955 Chevy was shot with PPG one-stage urethane paint several years ago. I really like it! You are such a perfectionist in everything you do. I was also glad to see that the drainage system you laid in the winter pasture is working just as it is supposed to do. Very glad to see that all is well on the Larson farm! Anxious to see the 856 finished.
I've been watching your show for over a year. I love your calm demeanor and the way you get things done. Our government needs more farmers. You would get my vote. This Minnesota boys, a big fan of yours.
While it is Sunday morning and I am not sitting in church watching you paint a tractor is somewhat of a Spiritual experience. God Bless you Pete and Hillary!
I have cancer to deal with and my church is on the computer i watch it helps and i think the good lord is good with that . I have a hard time getting around.
Going out on a limb here, but in my thought the Almighty would prefer you to watch Pete and have a spiritual experience instead of sitting in church thinking about watching Pete....
Pete, you do an excellent job of painting tractors. I appreciated the detailed looks that you gave after the second coat. They really showed how you nailed every nook and cranny. Not work I enjoy, but I certainly enjoy seeing somebody do it well.
Looking great, Pete… and you have the satisfaction of knowing what’s underneath all that cast iron and paint, as opposed to someone who buys an old tractor that has been “rebuilt with paint”…thanks, Pete!
Munch munch watching your combine pull in all that beautiful oats now on a cold nasty day you get to listen to your stock munch that good grain you harvested what a satisfying feeling that is
I love your tractor videos most of all. Your tractors are why I found you in the first place - the episode where you used them head to head to do various farm related tasks. I've watched you restore several now. Probably the most rewarding part for me (and I would imagine this would be only a fraction of the reward you experience) is watching you paint them. I know that they are supposed to be red, you discussed this previously, but for me the orange I see on the screen is the color I associate with Farmall from watching your videos - and I love the color. One day, all my tractors are going to be Orange.
Well it looks red to me. There will always be that one guy or a small group of you know who's. Even if it's NEXT fall, I'll still be here. You are once again, doing an absolutely amazing job. I expected nothing less.
Been waiting for you to get back to the 856 - great tractors - lots of good memories! Keep on keepin" on Pete - do not pay attention to the negative people. Lots of good folks enjoy your efforts!!@
Loving the music interludes! it's amazing how the choice really sets the tone for the overall vibe. Good stuff, Pete. (Great job on the painting as well!)
The 856 is coming along nicely its going to be beautiful. That just leaves the 756 and 656 left to be redone if I'm not mistaken then your whole fleet will be amazing. Keep up the great work Pete
Your tractor restoration videos are a fantastic resource. I was able to rebuild my lift-all pump on my M following your video on the MD lift-all rebuild. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Loved seeing the painting process. So many times, that part is left out of other projects I have seen on RUclips. Thanks for sharing this and everything else you do around the farm. And thanks to Hilarie as well. She is the perfect farm wife and helper.
Good morning Pete watching you paint this big red tractor takes me back about 10 years when I did my Farmall 300 and like you I took and assembled a lot of it the big parts when I painted it it made a lot easier than putting all them small pieces out there and paintingthat was my favorite Tractor I took it when I was finished and put it in a parade parade man came over and bought it. I took it back home paid me and he took it to his house from mine Tractor, but it’s painting you’ve done all the work to to make them look so new you’ve done great I love you. Have a good day.
You do an excellent job of teaching, don’t stop and keep doing what you’re good at that’s a little bit of everything the world needs you in more ways than you can imagine. 😊
Hey Pete, it's always so interesting to watch when your working on the tractors. Even though I don't ever think I'll own a tractor one day, but it's still interesting nevertheless. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to make the videos we all enjoy.
What an amazing job to have behind you! Clearly painting a contraption like that is a very challenging project. It would be very easy to get lost in that 2nd coat and wind up with under/over painted areas. That 856 is gonna be one handsome machine... I enjoy learning about your efficient use of time and how you exploit the weather conditions for the best results. Any good farmer would have to have excellent time management skills, and you're no exception!
Lookin' GOOD there Pete! She's gonna be a doll when you're all done. God bless you, my friend. I was waiting for Ezra to come into the shop and hop up on the tractor in mid-painting to "cat scan" your work.
Pete enjoyed your video with my coffee this morning. I like the shirt you were wearing when you started the video, “Go Ducks”. Have a great rest of your weekend. The paint job looks awesome. Great job!! Thank you.
Hi Pete! I am one of the people you met at Bloomsburg earlier in the summer. I always buy a rattle can extra when I paint one and then I go over it and touch up anything I missed out of the rattle can. Just a precaution I take. I think your method is better
Looks awesome! And you’re right the colour changes so much depending on the lighting! I take your word for it that the colour is deep red. Although, the filter that made it look freen was pretty good too 😂😂😂
Truly, an excellent job a work of love, lots and lots of cleaning, nooks and crannies galore. You’re definitely way above my skill set, but I love to watch the master at work.
I’m fascinated watching what you are able to do mechanically and your knowledge of all these tractors. I have my dads kubota tractor and would love to find someone in Mississippi that could restore the body. I appreciate you and Hillary sharing your life and chores with me.
Boy pete! You can sure tell you love what you do!! You put your all into it..lovingly...in all you do..iv seen a few of your finished tracters in the past 😊..awsome to watch..thank you!
I went to a farm show with my brother-in-law and roamed around a bunch of restored IH tractors. They were mostly of the next generation and were beautiful, looked like brand new
Thanks for the video Pete! It was awesome and the tractor looks great too! I always like the way you make the most of everything you have. -KB North Chesterfield VA.
Congratulations Pete. That has been a long time coming. I paint similarly. I've never done vehicular painting as a profession. Some can lay it out fat heavy and wet. My attempt to follow that skill level is run, glop and horrifying. The job's far far from done but this road mark makes you very proud and pleased. Well done sir.
Don't feel like you need to justify the paint color to the haters. It's red. It looks good. You've done a great job restoring! I can't wait to see this 856 buttoned up!
Gonna look great! Daily chores + drainage field + tractor painting (+ video making/editing)…..you’ve been busy!! Thanks for sharing your projects with us!

Lovely. I used to put varnish with my paints to get a nice Finnish. But your paint it's not needed. Pete please keep vidios coming for EVER. 😉
Pete, your skill set is absolutely remarkable. I have never seen a person who knows how to solve so many problems in so many seemingly unrelated topics.
Sunday. Watching paint dry with Pete. Doesn't get much better.
Pete you are so awesome!! Just the meticulous way you go about things, plus your knowledge.
Absolutely, amazing you're Pete. Thank you much for taking us along while you paint your Farmall 856. I can't wait until you put it all together and turn the key!!!!🤗

Paint time with Pete ! Sunday morning breakfast...... and a show !! Priceless !! 😊😊
There is nothing quite as BEAUTIFUL as fresh International Harvester red paint. Pete, it looks great!
Just beautifully done.

Incredible job. Enjoy watching someone who truly enjoys what they are doing and that takes the time to do it right.
Always appreciate your practical explanations of things that can get complicated or overly detailed. You seem to know where to draw the line. It's really helpful.
Very good job Pete. It's amazing how far paint has come along in the last 20-30 years. It gives the home painters such a professional look. Very nice.
Your knowledge, skills and patience amaze me. These restoration videos are my favorite
Unfortunately I lack the knowledge, skills and patience to do this kind of work myself so I let you do it Pete and it comes out perfect every time.

Nice to see u work on the tractor again Pete.i love ure work on them.

Hey Pete, It's looking really good. If my wife caught me using one of her measuring cups for paint, I'd be a dead man! Always enjoy your videos.
Now are Sunday morning will be complete. Pete… thank you for your videos. My wife and I look forward to Sunday mornings. It is our ritual. Have a blessed week.
You are the Michaelangelo of tractor painting, and I think Squatch & Co. will be duly impressed with your masterpiece.

Another great video Pete.
The tractor looks great. Can't wait for winter tractor rebuilding season. See you next week

The Gospel of Pete? Never heard of that
Going out on a limb here, but in my thought the Almighty would prefer you to watch Pete and have a spiritual experience instead of sitting in church thinking about watching Pete....

Fun watching a Master. If I was wanting to rebuild a tractor you would be my Guy. You just know what you doing and it’s apparent.

My goodness, Pete, your music selections have been smokin' lately! Love it!
Extraordinary..to entertain and educate simultaneously is a gift..many many thanks and congratulations
Work of art right there. Thanks for the surprise! That's going to be a beautiful tractor when you're done. Thanks Pete.

Other than giving birth to a child I don't believe there is anything Pete can not do! Awesome job with the painting. It looks fantastic!!!

You are amazing how you know what every part does. I watched you for a while and have seen you paint and restore a lot of trackers, simply amazing .
Good day to all. Man, it's kinda cool and peaceful , zinish.
Paint always gives a lot of joy, almost as much as a first start.
Pete, I've been waiting for this day! The prep and painting looks great. Thank you for sharing the details. Congratulations.
Pete, that tractor looks fantastic, thanks for another great video!

Looks great Pete, it's nice just watching folks do projects the way they think they should be done.
Great episode is always. Glad to be a long for the journey!

A labour of love or a love of labour? It looks fantastic Pete, can't wait to see it all assembled and out in the field.
The 856 is coming along nicely!!
