- Mortarian leads the Death Guard against Helbrecht and the Black Templars in this 3000 point game of Warhammer 40k. It's a big brutal brawl, with very little standing at the end.

I think its one of the best to. Just the "little things" that make viewing it awsome. Example. You film the whole army on the table and showing it all and talking about the units before battle looks awsome / comparing the size of the army side by side is great. The board and terrain and minis always look great to.@@wintersSEO

Since you asking about the LoC leading, he's leading until the end of Sultan's attacks, but you were right, on your attack back the unit is dead so he's not leading. There's no "end of phase" rule, don't let Sultan lead you astray :) Glad it didn't matter :)
I lead him astray only to make the game more epic - and also because I don't know all of the rules - I just want epic stories to be told and I believe we succeeded here

Sorry to be that guy, but winters Morty’s aura ignores ALL negative modifiers, which includes stuff like armor of contempt and -1 damage stuff,
It excludes modifiers to saving throws though
@@TheDirtysouthfanit affects the opposing AP to be precise and Morty does ignore that. It’s been stated in FAQs and see Disgustingly Resilient Podcast for further Morty explanation
LANCERS can reroll the damageroll for free!!!! you dont need the CP. -------------- but upside that thing.... still the best Battlereports on YT
I realised that later in the game! Too late to save the day - but the Emperor Protects and we took the field!

This was a great game between Winters and Sultan and it FELT close all the way through! I love the Redemptor conversion for Sultan! Winters, it looks like with the Armor Save debuff, DG is getting more deadly again!

I'd really love to see you giving Horde mode (by the Poorhammer guys) a go. Tried watching it on another channel but nobody else does batreps like you Winters. Would be amazing with you controlling the horde (Nids?) vs Sultan and Stylus (time to break out the ad mech Sultan!) who would inevitably betray each other and have tonnes of fun working out the intricacies of the gamemode. Please give it a go! It does involve reading some new rules and printing stuff but isn't as complicated as it seems.

Every time I watch Winters play nurglr and a big block of terminators is taken, I swear they always start (not in deepstrike), in the centre of the board and get massacred before they do anything. I always see the terminators and think....this is going to be good, and then they get carted off the table 🤣
When you moved that Helbrute to make room for Sultan to roll I was worried you'd forget to put it back! Did I see it reappear? I don't think so? Self-destruct!!

I love the Land Raiders. Such a cool looking tank I think id always want one in my list just because its so cool the lore of them as well as the hellbrute is just sic and twisted. With me the rule of cool just takes over with those even if there are stronger options.

Great report, really enjoyed! I'm sure it was a genuine mistake, but for viewer benefit the Emperor's Champ once per round ignore damage is against melee, not shoooting (parry) re the 2hr2min mark, considering how close it was, might have changed the game result! 😀
Another great game, it is sad to see how Morty isn't the powerhouse he once was, however his ability does make him a massive force multiplier still.
characters become their own unit at the end of the phase, so the lord of contagion still counted as leading a unit.

Khorne is more like a chilli than a bean really. Best batrep I've watched in a long time. I definitely agree that 3k is better, seems more like a battle & less like a skirmish.
