I'm 51yo redneck from Louisiana that has suffered from Major Depressive Disorder my whole life...among other mental issues. In April of 2018, I had a severe ischemic stroke that left me having to learn to use my right side again. Loving 40K video games, I decided to dive into the lore and tabletop knowing the painting would help my righthand dexterity(I failed Art in High School, btw). Luetin's video convinced me, hooked me, and got me addicted to EVERYTHING 40K!! The stroke and disability left my depression reeking havoc on my mental state. 40k gave me a way to pack it away...and purpose. Listening to Luetin while painting gave me the immersion and inspiration to overcome my difficulty in painting. Luetin's videos lead me to become obsessed with 40k lore and to buy Black Library audiobooks. Luetin reached into the swampy backwoods of North Louisiana and inspired this redneck to overcome disability. He'll never know the thousands of people he has inspired, helped, and saved. We all owe Luetin a heart-felt thank you. Thank you, Luetin. Thank you.
Finally. Proof that he's not just an ad-mech servitor in an alcove somewhere. Thank you, Luetin, for the years of amazing content to make me fall in love with this universe. And thank you Siege Studios for bringing him on for such an interesting podcast!

I grew up with a pipe dream like memory of my older brother's having Warhammer 40k figurines. Fast forward to now. I spent this last year listening to Lutien09 while working on my garden. I listened to numerous captivating stories of space Marines and xenos. Each story he spoke, I worked and bled into my garden. From sun up to sun down I listened and worked and then slept to these stories. This year my garden created an amazing environment for native birds, bees, butterflies. I worked on the worst heatwaves of the year, listening to the stories of Kreig and the merry band of orcs. Now it's almost December, I'm absolutely obsessed with Warhammer 40k lore, and ironically over the course of the year I built my dream garden. Now I have over 60 fruit trees, and I'm continuing to clone, plant and grow more. I couldn't have done it without those stories. Thank you Lutien09, your story telling is helping save the environment
Luetin is my inspiration. Always happy to hear of him. His story telling skills are legendary, but also the voice it just makes it all amazing. Simply love hearing his voice ....

My introduction to 40k lore was through Luetin09's channel, probably 4 or maybe 5 years ago, not 100% certain on when but it was a while back. The man's voice captured my attention initially, I think we can all agree he absolutely has the perfect voice for what he does. Now here I am years later, a total 40k lore nerd. It's really cool to have a face with a voice now :)
I own over 200 40K/ Horus Heresy novels, and I bounced all over the place when I was new to the lore. I read the Eisenhown trilogy, some of the Primarch Novels, I'm still reading the Horus Heresy ( 1 novel at a time.....) etc. I think the key is to just find whatever faction you're interested in a picking up some novels around that. If you think the Dark Angels are cool, pick up the Omnibus. If you like Necrons grab the Infinite and the Divine. So much great 40K out there. Great interview btw.
It’s so wild putting a face to the voice after listening to Luetin’s videos for hours while driving and falling asleep. Love to see someone’s passion blossom into such a successful channel and following.
Dawn of War was my intro. I cant think of a better one. Realizing there is not just lore but YEARS of lore blew my mind as a kid. Once I started looking into it it gave me like an existential crisis cause I'm not sure I'd ever figure it all out before I died.

One thing to be careful with in reading books to get out of a rut, sometimes it will lead to you buying a whole new army. Started with Iron Warriors (Storm of Iron), took a break, read 'Ashes of Prospero', bought space wolves
Great podcast. Proud owner of the Hawkshroud Knights army referenced at the start of the pod. It did bring a smile to my face seeing Leutin’s army getting published in a similar colour scheme so soon after, esp as it was his video on Knights that inspired the commission. How is there no mention of the first Eisenhorn book? I feel like you don't even need to like 40K to like that book. It's just really solid mystery, investigation with some action and sci-fi thrown in along with worldbuilding. It's really grounded too so even if a single space marine pops up then it's a huge deal (as it should be!!)

It's nice to see the person who got me into 40k lore (and has continued to be entertaining and interesting and informative). Honestly, some of my favorite vids are the breakdowns of how various factions view time and the discussion of different models of time. I did not start that day thinking I was going to learn chronotheory 😁
As a star wars fan and subsequently getting into TTG with SW Legion, finding Luetins videos and I fell like Alice down a deeeep warp hole. His videos are fantastic and he seems like such a gent. Hats off to the loremaster and thank you for such amazing content that can help someone like me who knew nothing on W40k to actually being able to have a conversation with someone who does in games stores and the desire to learn more! Top top man
It is always funny to me how different someone looks to the image you have in your head, especially when you spend so much time listening to their voice. It was FANTASTIC to get to actually put a face to Luetin, thanks for doing the video!
I always imagined Luetin09 as an STC that provides regular lore pieces for us ordinary humans. But imagine my surprise to realized he's part of humanity. Not human, but maybe a psycher?
Man, I've spent hours upon hours listening to Luetin during my office hours. I dont even play warhammer but he's so great at telling the lore of it all.
This was a very enjoyable intro to this crew at SS, I was not aware of your channel but like so many others was following Luetin09, thanks for taking the time for this, loved it.
Thankyou luiten for providing the most comprehensive lore on 40k while i drive my truck during the night making delivery's, your lore and depth is top notch
I just wanted to check out was WH40K was around the time that Luetins Colonel Bane & the Mordant Acid Dogs came out. I've still check out some of his videos every single day. Please never stop, we need you.
I think a thing to realize about Luetin's rise to loremaster was the quality of his videos compared to other youtubers at the time. At the time of his first few Warhammer videos, you had a few channels that did similar introductory content to Warhammer (like Arch Warhammer, 40k theories, etc.) but their content was.... lacking... to put it kindly. Luetin came along with an in-depth video, with stellar narration, epic visuals, music, and well thought out transitions and research. And his video was aimed at explaining 40k to new comers in a focused, understandable way. In no uncertain terms, Luetin raised the bar for 40k lore content on RUclips. Disorganized, ad hawk, or rambling 40k content with questionable mic quality just wasn't going to cut it anymore once Luetin came on the scene.
The luetin lore is literally what got me into 40k. I knew about warhammer but the first emperor video and the tyranids video got me hooked. Keep crushing guys.
I was the same, I watched him doing Arma videos and he did his first 40K stuff which I had friends at school that were into it but I couldn’t afford it. Such an amazing story teller

A bloody legend mate! Luetin is a true legend!
It's nice to see the person who got me into 40k lore (and has continued to be entertaining and interesting and informative). Honestly, some of my favorite vids are the breakdowns of how various factions view time and the discussion of different models of time. I did not start that day thinking I was going to learn chronotheory 😁
Thank you Luetin. I've listened to you more than any other creator. I appreciate you, man.
Love this guy. Luetin09 the Big D of Warhammer Lore.
The LOREMASTER!. Huge fan of your work. You got me into Warhammer 2 years ago. And have been obsessed ever since. Thank-you for everything you do.
I always imagined Luetin09 as an STC that provides regular lore pieces for us ordinary humans. But imagine my surprise to realized he's part of humanity. Not human, but maybe a psycher?
What a graceful interview, the Emperor protects!
Man, I've spent hours upon hours listening to Luetin during my office hours. I dont even play warhammer but he's so great at telling the lore of it all.
Luetin09 is such an awesome content creator. Ive listened to the mans voice for hours.
It is so cool to hear him laugh. Loremaster!!!
Jonathan Keeble is my favourite voice.
This was a very enjoyable intro to this crew at SS, I was not aware of your channel but like so many others was following Luetin09, thanks for taking the time for this, loved it.
Thanks Johan! Welcome to the channel!
Thankyou luiten for providing the most comprehensive lore on 40k while i drive my truck during the night making delivery's, your lore and depth is top notch
Thank you luetin for bringing me too the amazing world of 40k absolute legend.
Luetin09 is by far my favourite lore video creator for 40k on youtube. Great storyteller with a great voice.
Luetin! I need to see Baldermort and a Vox in the Void too!
I love Luetin's work, he has a very soothing voice, great stuff
Wonderful to finally see the face! This made me happy thanks for sharing
YOOO Luetin!! :D So happy to see you in the flesh! : )
Flesh and steel is a great shout out, the audiobook is amazing
Dude this man personally got me into the lore side of 40k
The luetin lore is literally what got me into 40k. I knew about warhammer but the first emperor video and the tyranids video got me hooked. Keep crushing guys.
I was the same, I watched him doing Arma videos and he did his first 40K stuff which I had friends at school that were into it but I couldn’t afford it.
Such an amazing story teller
George just creepily staring down into my eyes to end the video was 🤌
👀
Love to see yeh Lue! Honestly your the one who got me back in, in my late twenties! Thanks again chap!
