He has respect because they showed respect by following the rules. I bet there were parents or people in general who want to get closer and go behind the chain. They don't get that respect.

same guard i witnessed being kind to a disabled boy. very subtle, never broke stand, but quick stepped closer for pic. it was very much appreciated & noticed.

The gurkhas are the only none commonwealth memebers to serve in the British army and they aren't queen's/kings guards what you see in this video. Queen/Kings guards are British soldiers and citizens

This soldier is amazing. Instead of stomping hard which will generate a loud sound and probably startle the baby, he stomped gently instead. And he knew how to admire the baby too. He looks handsome as well.

The King’s Guard are great as long as you are respectful! I’ve seen this gentleman especially in a lot of videos and such. He’s a good, kind man and does his job well!
This is the young guardsman who is becoming RUclips famous for being an absolute sweetheart although he would cringe if he knew this. He will step into a picture like this to be kind as he does for the disabled, wee kids or other opportunities which would make the memory better. He has been filmed helping the mounted guardsmen with their horses’ bridles as he goes off duty giving the horses a forehead kiss which just emphasizes his empathy with others. I believe his name is Peter Ellis. I fear he is about to become a RUclips pinup likely much to his personal chagrin but from the viewers’ point of view so lovely to see such a positive and rare human being .
