New genres have always grown out of challenging known tropes. And many of those, then develop habits of creation and become tradition themselves. There is great potential in intuitive, unstructured ways of feeling yourself around a problem or project, rather than relying on known methodologies. In visual and media arts, I always encourage students to explore and *actually practice* outside of their own mediums, proclivities, methodologies, tendencies, comforts, knowledge bases. Interestingly, today, one sees more artists who have ouvres that are really varied over their careers, as opposed to say, 20th c. painters who would span an entire career repeating the same techniques and methods in the creation of their work ( the art 'market' or any market for that matter, or course, relies on predictability over time and a considered expertise that can be reliably known and enduring...thus more easily marketed). Please help us understand that there is a difference between the brain and the mind and the consciousness of soul perhaps these are not all the same thing the brain is a physical thing the mind we don't quite understand yet.
Just an example to understand, brain is the hardware, like a computer, it needs a software like windows to run it, the software ware is the mind, the beliefs, right and wrong, yes and no, decisions. The software one carries right from childhood to adulthood is given by the society hence largely not compatible. One has to upgrade it, by thinking and asking questions, which leads to better software. Hope you get it, best wishes

@@1975MARR Hi Lynda, thanks for your comments. If helpful, we have created another YouTUbe channel full of 10 minute clips from these longer podcasts. Perhaps that may be of interest to you? ruclips.net/channel/UC-z9rGJQllqxAM69-kfgOuQ Thanks Rangan
Is drawing count ?
What about Buddhist monk who never consumed sea food?
How they fulfill their Brain food?
Great conversation. The one frustration was that every time Dr. Wood would mention anything about health inequities like discrimination or other societal ills Dr. Chatterjee would seemingly steer away as if not wanting to make the conversation unpalatable for some of his listeners. Not cool especially for someone who is indeed brown himself
We probably need to set crucial boundaris on technology and maybe even watch the jobs we do. All this "comfort" brings a whole lot of disadvantages. So these "time saving things/devices" and the like don't deliver what they promise. So I guess more shifts in society are rising, I guess........thanks for this super interview.
Are you related to Louis theroux doctor
ZERO mention of vaccines or pesticide-laden cleaners like Clorox, Lysol, etc… 😢
over 2 hours long, hurry up PLEASE, it's not THAT interesting of a subject if it can't be disclosed within a couple of minutes. Write it in a text file, example: "eating wrong, not moving enough" etc. Thx!
Stress.
The guest’s name , credentials, and introduction?
What about longterm post concussion syndrome
I have it
Have you tried a keto or carnivore diet? More fat is great for the brain. Especially animal fat, not seed oils.
Only came across recently that much of medicine is based on statistically significant correlation. It's not that the process is proven in the lab or real world as in physics n chemistry. Anyway, a great conversation. Thanks.
apnar interview guli danur.
The brain need also a detoxification from heavy metals
*googles “20 quid” 😂😂😂
I disliked how Tommy Wood did appeal to nature and how humans use to eat as that isn't a great basis to determine what the best nutrition for a human is
Everything declines when we age. It's logical
I found this very interesting and helpful till the animal experiment talk started ..It amuses me how much desensitised we are to to the crimes we commit against animals in this trials ..I dont see a shred oguiltret or guild in the people talking about it ..instead i see pride!
one day we will evolve and look back in horror to what we used to do
Doctors, please, does the ALPHA SYNUCLEIN in meat contribute to Parkinson’s disease?
Please help us understand that there is a difference between the brain and the mind and the consciousness of soul perhaps these are not all the same thing the brain is a physical thing the mind we don't quite understand yet.
Just an example to understand, brain is the hardware, like a computer, it needs a software like windows to run it, the software ware is the mind, the beliefs, right and wrong, yes and no, decisions.
The software one carries right from childhood to adulthood is given by the society hence largely not compatible. One has to upgrade it, by thinking and asking questions, which leads to better software. Hope you get it, best wishes
Dr Chatterjee. Lots of Techniques described, overwhelming for beginners. Several bite size pieces please, or a New Book?
Yes. With so many competing interests in life, a bullet point version, or list of actionable strategies would be greatly appreciated
Too bad you guys didn't take the socio-political arguments to their logical ends. I was hoping you would go Che Guevara on us.
lol
This is extraordinary interesting t me because I suffer from sthing
However, I am focusing on the terrible format n the way they are dressed
Is that important
Yes it is time reflects self opinion
N the accents throw me off but the guy appears t know what he is talking about
Does good grooming n appearance affect you?
Lmk
Stopped listening when he admits he experiments on animals! Unscientific, cruel and totally unnecessary. There are over 400 methods of research that don’t involve animals!
I wonder if you are boosted as the booster was tested on 8 mice before being rolled to humans.
No medium or long term side effects surveillance.
Gone off this interviewer + channel … he seems to agree with all his guests … but they disagree with each other?UNSUBSCRIBE!!
