They did say that apex was going to be the next Fortnite but look how that turned out. This game is not my cup of tea but hopefully people will give this game a try.

To correct you: The cheapest version of the battle pass cost around 9 dollars and the more expensive one is around 30 dollars. Hope they change so players can more easily see the cheaper version of the battle pass in Hawked!
I loved Hawked, been playing it since it came out. It's gonna be a good backup for when Fortnite adds a mythic in BR that i don't like 😂

So interestingly the BP is about dollars 10 however its really hard to menu navigate to get to it in the battlepass screen

This game has a lot of potential. It really is a good time, especially with a squad of friends.
The only thing I've yet to figure out, is what the purple currency (wonderium) is for. Anyone know?
You need it for a few things. Upgrading your Loyalty with Grail (via the buy/sell robot, you'll need wonderium for levels 9 and 10) as well as upgrading your gear and artifacts (via the loadout screen, you'll see an option to upgrade them, they cost wonderium after Uncommon). You will get to a point where you are breaking down every blue+ trinket for wonderium instead of selling them

Honest opinion - It works. It plays well with Friends in Squads (wouldn't recommend soloing squads).....solo mode is good, but sometimes when the game is supposed to alert that "there's a player nearby" sometimes it doesn't.
I've been lagged out of a game only twice so far, so not bad.
But, once you return to the "hub" or "lobby" with other players - there's really nothing else to do except turn in your goods etc. It's missing a scoreboard/leaderboard/K.D ratio breakdown....I want to compete with other players, not just in the game.
The stamina needs a little work imo...
Doesn't feel like fortnite one bit imo.
until this game becomes properly big, i'll stay away
i've already fallen in love with live-service games (dko, multiversus, pjpt) and had them shut down in a month

Save the World Remake and it's lit.
I wish that was the case, but this game has so many errors design-wise. How is it that I need to extract to use the artifact's passives, why can’t I just get the passives right when I collect the artifacts or trinkets, then limit how many of these you can carry per run making it valuable and give you the incentive to go collect more in the next match. The items when in the ground are way too small, and collecting them from the ground is horrible. If I’m extracting artifacts, why can’t I also extract my weapons and use them again next game. Some of the puzzles are fine, but they feel like fortnite optional tasks that you need to complete no matter what. There is a hover board, let me say it again, a hover board, than can’t be used in land, only water. The controls are bad like crazy, and the store and battle pass are expensive as is.
The only positive thing I can say about the game is the art style, and that they go all in with the comic atmosphere and game feel.

They just need to add lobby’s like fn and 100 players last one standing
this game looks like a hybrid between spellbreak and fortnite.. i dont think the animations look as good as the ones in either of those tho, this game overall just looks quite unpolished or unfinished. we'll see if it all works out for this game tho..

I realize this is clickbait disguised as innocent speculation (and so does everybody else, it doesn't work and is just annoying imo) but you're actually delusional or don't know anything about Fortnite or the gaming industry if you seriously believe this could even get close to that level of traction. I like Hawked, it's a fun game, got some issues and isn't finished (like 99,9% of games on the market nowadays, let's be real) but just... No, bro. No. Also, is all people see when they test new games the graphics and HUD? This plays NOTHING like Fortnite, the comparison doesn't make any sense at all when it comes down to the actual gameplay mechanics, systems for progression or even its main gameplay loop. It's like making a comparison between games such as Escape From Tarkov and PUBG, or whatever, just an example. You fire guns in both. Graphics do look kinda similar. You loot things in both games.
