Conversely making skins limited time means that players I look forward to get the battle pass. As opposed to not getting a battle pass and buying individual skins

A way to solve the battle pass problem they should make it to where you can buy previous passes but you can only do one at a time and if it is an old pass you do not get super styles.

@kamiiival I see, however i think is unfair for characters of other franchises to be exclusive, i wouldn't care if the original skins are BP exclusive, i wish i could get Lara Croft but i couldn't get her at the time.
@JaydNthePhoeniX People WOULD buy it, it would be a much better deal if Epic had any brains. Buying it later for a much higher price = more v bucks spent = more revenue. Supply and demand isn't a hard concept to grasp.
Fortnite is the one of the only games with so much exclusivity where most things you can never get, it really sucks

Guys Fortnite announced any battle pass skins chapter3 season1 or over can return into the item shop 18 months or more later hope this helped
It's funny the video starts off with saying Rick and Morty will never come back and Epic is avoiding that controversy. But in fact Rick and Morty has returned multiple times after that controversy. They just haven't given a new Rick skin. But they have been back and even had the Pickle Rick back bling you could earn.

I am glad to see them slowly move away from the Battle Pass into game mode specific passes (that have content that can return eventually) because tying story and collab skins to the BP was/is a mistake IMHO.
I need Epic Games to release another Ahsoka skin. Time was not on my side when she released as a bonus skin.
At a certain point, it’s more profitable to stop doing battle pass exclusives. It will easily make Fortnite more money to bring these skins back for purchase, especially bc younger kids weren’t old enough to play when these skins were available.
They even can sell them at higher prices with the excuse of them being exclusive and people still would buy it

The more and more colabs are added in battle passes the more tragic it feels that anyone would miss out on them if they love these characters sure I can't complain as much I got all of them since deadpool but we can all understand people's problems with it

I feel like they should bring a system where you can still get old battle passes however you have to buy them and can only progress one at a time. This would gove a good sense of progression and make it so that if you buy a pass your probably gonna spend a while before getting another one unless they let you progres the one for whatever season aswel which woild entice you to dish out money for it still in order to max out how much you gain from playing.

I think a good compromise for battle pass exclusivity would make it to where these season limited skins will be exclusive for maybe a full year or since they’re doing the whole OG thing that’s gonna be bringing back the old seasons, it’d be cool to bring back battle pass skins from those seasons. Give everyone a chance to get old skins that they may not have been around for

Epic should probably introduce the exclusivity locker which works similar to the item shop but introduces the missed out skins and instead of v-bucks it uses kill coins which can be obtained every 3-5 kills.

Personally I wouldn't mind them re-releasing all the old collab skins from battlepasses, I think it would do VERY well, and people would love it, so long as the people that unlocked them long ago got some form of compensation, like purple skull or pink ghoul.

I agree 100%. It's silly to lock content behind playing at a certain time. If you care about other people owning skins then you probably shouldn't be playing online games anyway.
It's the fact that they've already stated that battlepass items won't come back, and that's one of the reasons people buy the passes. Bringing them back is going back on a promise that was already made to people. It's just false advertising at best and manipulating to double dip at worst.
If they openly state from now on that skins from the BP will return, people won't have as much of an issue. I'm fine with BP skins coming back, but you NEED to make sure that people know they're coming back. It's already bad enough to capitalize on people's fomo, but to then sell the items again after you already manipulated people into getting it is another scumbag move on top of that.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter too much to me either way. They're just skins. There'll be better skins later on to get, so there's not a reason to worry about them now.

I think it would be smart to bring back collab skins into the shop, even from battle pass or crew. Collabs are always loved by many and new players will never be able to get these.
Keep the og fortnite characters as prizes to show off your account if you want to be a lame troll... but make battle pass collab skins a shop item after a year or so.
Here's my thought. As bad and as fucked up as this sounds. They're probably going to release most of every single battle pass again. I would say from chapter one on, or they could make another style for almost any other character, they could make the original Doom guy style. They can make the original one of the three first Iron Man styles. They can do so many different styles for so many different characters. Maybe not every single character will be able to come out, but a good portion of characters have a million different outfits and movies, books or series, so we could really see something.

I have a great solution to the battlepass collabs. Make any collab skin in a battlepass able to come back in the item shop. Fortnite should keep their original skins from the battlepass exclusive to that battlepass but any collabs in a battlepass should be able to reture without their extra styles as those can be battlepass exclusive
