Yes it heats up when you push it. For example if you switch on performance mode and render a 4K video file using Adobe Premiere pro, the laptop gets hot. This happens to most laptop. But the heat isn't unbearable.

Not at all. It is a pretty standard 720p camera (0.9 MP). In fact it is amazing how in 2021 we have 150€ smartphones with 4K cameras but we still have laptops with 720p... Just ridiculous.

why they put a fan inside? i have a older acer without fan, i had never a heat problem even when i make video editibg, this asus would be better without fan, may it can be a problem when you put it on the bed, the fan will not cyrculate air, specially when you are a camper in a van
The computer is really nice. However, unless the fan speed and performance are at the maximum the computer is very, very slow. But then, at maximum settings, it is very noisy. And even with the maximum performance enabled, the result on UserBenchmark for the GPU is still very low (only 16,6%). I have i7-1165G7, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. Obviously, everything is fully updated, Windows 11, all drivers, BIOS, ... Any idea why am I getting this bad performance?
@@jame5game5 No, I tried W10 as well for some days. In the meantime I realised that the problem is that this is a slim laptop and in general all (?) slim laptops have this problem (between home and work I have 3 slim laptops from 3 different brands and all of them have this problem). So, in practice, unless you don't care about the fan noise, which I bet you do, you cannot use this laptop in performance mode while doing most of the non-standard tasks. I'm using it in standard mode with the CPU at 60% all the time. I just wonder why no one mentions the fan noise in any review...
@ I totally agree with you. I bought 16gb 512 ssd model 1 month ago and since then the fan never stopped. I put ice underneath to stop the fan so that I could work at night. Ridiculous!
I have bought the Zenbook 13 OLED with i5 and 512GB SSD. Which M2 PCIe 1TB is compatible for upgrade. My SANDISK Ultra 3D Festplatte, 1 TB Interner Speicher M.2 via NVMe is not listed when installing Win11 fresh though the BIOS indentifies it.But Windows setup ist asking for drivers.Any help?

Aluminium suggests the laptop is indeed premium, a plastic laptop just cannot be premium, so it's quite a difference. Of course I knew it was aluminium before I watched the review, just wanted to see it live, so thanks brother:)
just be honest you liars i've regreted buying the laptop because of you , what military test you are talking about this thing is built fully from cheap plastic that looks metal don't cover up the facts that the build quality is horrible that is the only thing i have to say the body make some terrible noises creacking , panem gaps after one year i have to say i regret buying this laptop compared to lenovo thinkpad , surface laptop 3 my last two laptops it looks like a toy compared to them in terms of build qualty i have the oled panel it is still working without any single problem the keyboard is great other than this if you care about a laptop that you will keep long term look else where because it is not built to last in my opinion it is feels really cheap compared to the price and if any one wants to see i'll send a video

@ Fan noise is not really a problem for me (I got used to it). Plus I usually turn on some music.
