"Connor Clegg, a producer at Fox News according to his LinkedIn, posted a racist attack on a law enforcement officer to Twitter. Clegg has since locked his twitter account.
Clegg complained about being stopped by a traffic officer with an accent because he was blocking an alley and his tags were expired on his vehicle. The Fox News producer's description was laced with racist language and superiority.

This producer is one main reason why FOX is as despicable and not worth watching ever.

Well, obviously, the reason he was parked illegally and his tags were expired was because the cop who, by definition has to be a citizen, had a foreign accent.
The guy towing the car probably is not a cop, is a city worker who has the thankless job of towing people’s illegal and illegally parked cars. If this guy *ever* complains about anyone breaking the law ever again he should have his mouth sewn shut.

I'm not from the US nor live in the US. From what I've seen the overall response to Clegg is almost as abhorrent in itself. To simply rant and call him a racist douche does not nearly go far enough!! There needs to be real world consequences! Sometimes I think that the "racist" label gets thrown around so much in the US that you have become desensitized to the pain, anger, hurt that genuine hate filled racism causes those on the receiving end. Weak responses simply encourages the behaviour and emboldens evil people like this.

This tweet jarred me a little, because I come from a Jamaican family. I was born here in America, but my first language is Jamaican patois. I’m 40 now. At my last employer, I had a coworker from India, and one day he asked me “so which part of Jamaica are you from?” I said how do you know I’m Jamaican, he said “your accent. It’s very thick.” And then he started talking to me about cricket and soccer. Anyway, my point is this tweet upset me because there are people out there that just hear an accent and say terrible stuff like this.
