You got a aamzing deal right there. I have had the "green" (teal) version for more than a year now and the acuracy is below + 30 seconds A WEEK! I wear it every other day, because I have 2 other Orient automatics, so I usually re-set it to precise time at the end of the week, but it has never been more than 30 seconds ahead every week-end. I also have a Lorus with a 7s26- type movement (626-something) and it's accuracy is all over the place by comparison (I think + 20seconds a day). The kamasu is an absolute hidden treasure and, in a couple of years, it will be the poor-collectors' legend.
I wear a Rolex Submariner most days but I have 3 Kamasu’s I love them so much. I haven’t tried one of the Long Island Watch bracelets but have gotten 2 Strapcode bracelets from Marc at LIW for two of my Kamasu’s,1 Oyster and 1 Jubilee style. They elevate the watch noticeably and are easily worth the $89 for them! I’m sure the Island Watch bracelet your showing are quite good as well for even less. In all fairness the OEM bracelet which I’ve retained on my 3rd one so far isn’t really all that bad but for sure it’s not up to par compared to the Kamasu itself!! Btw… I will wear my Rolex all day and then can’t wait to get home and put one of my Kamasu’s on!! If you’re thinking of buying one, JUST DO IT!! Also, the latest ones I’ve gotten are running within 2 seconds a day! Amazing watch!
I have this model and love it. I always knew the original bracelet is a compromise for the price point, but you just forgive it for the more important sapphire crystal which you don't get with Seiko until you spend £600 plus. I'll watch out for the rattle, and now you've mentioned it I'm sure it will bug me!
Yeah the original bracelet ain't too bad, the female endlinks are a plus. I've seen this watch on red NATOs and red/burgundy leather too it looks amazing as well.
I have the j-style bracelet from LIW on my Kamasu. While it is light years better than the OE version, it still has, what looks and feels like a pressed clasp. I wish that it did have a on the fly microadjust on it as well. At least an option to put one on.
Love my orient also. I dont really care for spending extra monies on extra bracelets anymore, i did aboy 10 yrs ago. Every seiko etc i had i purchased extra strapcode bracelets for but i.m.o My rolex datejust has hollow endlinks😊
I got the blue one ...how much is new bracelet...like stock one just scratches easily on clasp...shit my skx 09 not scratch easy on clasp and stock jubilee...it rattle alot but comfortable..
I got it from Facebook marketplace haha, but I think most ppl get it from Amazon. I don't think there are any orient retail shops in Canada unfortunately
My bracelet fall off for the third time.. new push pins from the dealer .. keep braking.. what is making it brake on my wrist? Someone else experience that?

Yeah when they discontinue it it'll be a legend like the SKX was

Nice! Yea the Kamasu is the modern day SKX, affordable and amazing
The sun burst in red on the dial really make the watch pop..
I wear a black crocodile strap on my Kamasu and looks great , really brings out the burgundy dial.
Nice I'll check those out !

@@NorthernWatchClub My big gripe was the lume seems green in daylight, which looks awful with a red dial. But hey, happy with the purchase!
@@simonthomas5113 glad you love it brother
I got a black curved end rubber strap for it. I figured 1-it won't scratch like a bracelet would. 2-It can get wet 3-Can look dressy too.
I love my apple, and the stock bracelet on my ray raven
The longer I have this watch the more I like it.
Same here. My bezel is destroyed now tho cant wait to do something ab that

I made a video recently upgrading the clasp to a milled one check it out!
Great video. Just pick up the same watch 2nd hand, in mint condition. Bracelet has to be changed and will be picking up a island bracelet asap.
How is the bracelet doing after months of time? Any squeaking noises?
It should fit RA-AA0810N19B model right?

@@jeffd3802 true , another thing I like about the aftermarket ones is the better taper from 22 to 18 instead of 20
Great video! thanks. Quick question, How much is the weight of the watch with that bracelet in comparison with the original?
Very slightly heavier but I don't really feel it on wrist tbh
@@NorthernWatchClubthanks!
Yea it really pops 😍
What lubricant do you suggest to fix the squeaking clasp on the new bracelet?
Arm grease lol. It stopped squeaking after wearing it for a while
Gave u a like keep up good work
Great video thanks
Thanks for watching 🙏

Ya the original bracelet sucks haha, that bracelet is 59USD you can find the link in the video description
Hey, im from around mtl as well, did you get the watch online or are there retailers here that have the kamasu 1 and 2 available?
I got it from Facebook marketplace haha, but I think most ppl get it from Amazon. I don't think there are any orient retail shops in Canada unfortunately

You should probably change the spring bars :/
Nice upgrade. Is it strapcode?
Long island watch :)
@@NorthernWatchClub thanks
@@babekazimi it's long island watch
Looks better with a red NATO strap...
Yea I tried it and didn't like it, maybe because the strap I got wasn't that great, I'm ordering a red tropic strap for this one next
I'm glad I don't suffer from wrist spasms I guess
Do people shake there wrist like that? Lol!
Haha it was just to illustrate the noise 🤣
