I understand your practical need to use this rubber strap but I find that it doesn't really match with the watch, its matte black/grey color doesn't highlight the dial at all unlike a good old olive green nato or a classic leather strap.Just my opinion, if you enjoy the way it is good for you ✌️

A "single watch man" should indeed seek versatility, but also a sense of individuality. In this regard, the Alpinist is nothing short of remarkable. After all, I have no desire to be predictable or bland. Especially for a rock climber like me.

My watch was purchased 2 years ago from AMZWATCH and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.

How is the bracelet doing after months of time? Any squeaking noises? It should fit RA-AA0810N19B model right?

Do you find it top heavy with the z199 bracelet? I've read some complaints being top heavy due to the lightness of the bracelet.

Shame theres no big date in the small size but otherwise that movement is more like something you'd find in a Longines! Need to check this out in person some time, I have a 35mm PRX but it's a tiny bit too small.

What lubricant do you suggest to fix the squeaking clasp on the new bracelet?

It looks great , it is a bit of a shame they couldn't apply a bit of AR coating. How much would it cost anyway, cents?

I think the 35mm is almost perfect. I tried on the 40 and it fit well but I think the smaller one will be a better daily

When looking for a replacement insert, many websites note that a specific SKX007 crystal is needed otherwise there will be a gap between the crystal and insert. Has this replacement bezel already accounted for that? Will it take any flat or sloped bezel, or would one fit better than the other? Thanks!

I have 2 of these pieces .black dial and white dial..when they say set it and forget it ,they mean it. For a reasonable price this is all the dive watch u will ever need .the resin straps they come on are not the most comfortable but I bought a H link and a jubilee bracelet from long Island watch and they compliment these watches well.great watches here

To me when I acquired this it was my endgame for Seiko watches. I’m not sure if I want to go above this tier. I love the look because of the green dial and gold accents that is the selling point and the compass feature is a bonus. I like that it can be somewhat sporty but elegant at the same time. When the strap breaks in I will be wearing this more and more

I have over 60 watches some very valuable.... The Eco Drive, Red dial / Red bezel Citizen Promaster Diver is my default watch in a hurry. Looks sharp, fits well, tough. No need to wind, set day, date, moonphase, etc. My other go to on the run watch is my snoopy bulova moonwatch.

The longer I have this watch the more I like it.

I see 100 s of watches in a week . Just looking for what is appeals my taste . This is one of those . Cant say more.

This is my daily wear watch. Looks great on a brown leather or black NATO strap (I actually don't like the leather strap it comes with). Definitely a nice looking watch IMHO.

I love this titanium MOD. And for about 100$ I gor a really nice looking Casio`s. The original rubber version is just not what U generally want to wear. Steel and titanium is definitely feels and looks much better! Now I`m trying to get CAMO titanium and CARBON.

Hello.. do you know if the issue with the date window of the early batch has been fixed?

You will miss it, but if it does not fit, it does not. I work an office job and rotate through my collection. The GA0B2100 has made it into my rotation and I am addicted to that classic casio feature, the hourly beep alarm. Keeps my mental clock in sync with the watch that is in sync with my phone that is in sync with an atomic clock somewhere.

I'm torn between getting this or a Hamilton Khaki Field Auto. Both seem like incredible watches for the price, just have to figure out which I want first.

I love watches and I love the outdoors. I already own a Hamilton Khaki Expedition and actually use the compass bezel. This watch in particular I love the color scheme and the ability to dress the watch up.

Very nice in-depth review of the bracelet. I have one of these and would like to add that it's possible to adjust the tightness of the clasp's lock. You just need to use a pair of pliers and bend forward/backward on the small hook on the clasp, I believe the uncle strap website has a guide for it.
