There’s a lot of nice watches I’d rather have over this. That said, it’s up to the individual. If you love it, I have zero issue with you purchasing it. I watches in my collection that would garner immense disdain from those in our community lol 😂
I have a custom iced out g-shock mini; it has diamonds handset into solid 925 silver. I also have a Sandoz 36 ETA 2824 datejust homage with an iced out bezel and diamond hour markers, which garners hate. People also dislike my Rolex datejust 36 with diamond hour markers. I buy what I like, though, and so should everyone else. I feel like people's watch collections are largely determined by trends and popularity, not individual tastes. People, for example, that have luxury collections always have an Omega speedmaster, a submariner, a reverso, etc. Generic, copy and paste collections. Nothing unique.
