I bought a SanMartin BB 36 homage to see if I like it and more importantly the size. I did so bought the OG. The thing is I think the SanMartin is 98% of the Tudor. I got a sellita and on the fly adjustment for the homage and I decided to sell the OG as its not worth several thousands purely for the name. Oh and the homage is running under 4 second a day in the 6 positions.
I have the color green it was a 56 dollars its suuuper i love this watch I have more than 40 watches rado and rovina seiko casio Tissot.... but realy steeldive is perfect good quality and good price
@@NorthernWatchClub this one in blue. Addies Dive tuna in blue. That Tandorio double domed pilot watch with sort of the rounded square case. Been wearing this Baltany Field watch in black with a Barton army canvas strap. I have a little showing it.
I bought a SD captain Willard and an Addiesdive Tuna on the 11/11 sale. I'm blown away by them. The Addiesdive runs at + 2 seconds a day and the SD at +3 seconds a day. The lume is outstanding. I also bought a genuine Seiko King Turtle that runs at -10 seconds a day. Frustrating ! Can't wear it until I regulate it. I have found the lack of accuracy with all my Seiko's.
Yeah the fact that Seiko doesn't regulate their movements is pretty frustrating, the prospex that I showed in the video I had to regulate it too, it was running -20 seconds a day for a >1000$ watch! With a "real Seiko" you're basically buying a lottery ticket hoping that it runs accurate and don't blatant QC issues :/
All praise to the Chinese for producing such quality watches and many other consumer items, and by doing so, showing up the western produced watches to be highly overpriced and in many cases over rated.
Very good review. Ali Express watches have opened up a window of opportunities for those wishful longing for their dream watch(es) at "affordable" price range and still having buffer of dough to spend / save / invest..
Yeah this watch made me question why I spend so much on watches that offer less like seriously lol ... I'll be buying more during the next sale for sure!
@NorthernWatchClub try san martin... you will lose your shit 😅 I'll probably never buy a sub $500 dollar watch that's not an aliexpress watch Edit - I see you have. The quality for money is crazy. Their on the fly clasp is amazing
Just cant wear any watch that is a complete copy with change in name only. You can buy a Seiko Willard for around $800. Just a few dollars more than a Hamilton Khaki.
True, I sold this watch shortly after, kept a hommage that was at least not an exact copy of the original (the San Martin bb pro polar) I'll be posting a video on that soon.
@@NorthernWatchClubcurious what price you sold it for? Did you make $ on it/break even/lose money and what percentage? If you paid $50 US and sold it for $60US that's a 20% return...not bad for any watch lol...and if you sold it for $25USD you're down $25 - that's two can dine at McDonald's money...
Thanks for the review! I'm wearing the same watch on my 6.5-inch wrist as well. It wears better than I expected.

@@johnrb9397 between which two?
@@NorthernWatchClub the Tuna and the Willard!
@@johnrb9397 oh I didn't buy the Tuna, but I already have a solar tuna and love both! I'd say both are good options
What is the weight? Numbers differ a lot throughout the internet. From 140 to 190g.
i think it depends on how many links you keep, if you take it off the bracelet it becomes quite top heavy

Haha I guess I'll fill in for the Bulbasaur since I don't think he'll ever look at Ali Express watches lol

What is the reissue Seiko 6105 if not an homage to the original 70s watch ??
Stop shaking the watch up and down when talking.
