- The Chipmunkinator is the little brother to The Squirrelinator by Rugged Ranch/CatchMor Multi-Catch Live Traps. I just used some bird seed that had nuts and sunflower seed mix. The chipmunk did come around the trap the first day but didn't go in. The second day it decided to get those goodies inside. As of now there is still no other critters caught, so I must have caught the lone chipmunk. The chipmunk was released.

I got a squirrelinator to take care of some grey tree squirrels on my property. Discovered it may work well for ground squirrels, but not much on tree squirrels. Then had some chipmunks get under the hood of my wife's minivan, build a nest, and create over $1200 worth of damage chewing up wires, insulation, etc. Bought a chipmunkinator, and over the next several weeks caught 22 chipmunks. One day I checked the trap, and had two chippies plus one grey squirrel. They don't "play well" together.
I cant comment on chipmunks yet , but a raccoon or possum once caught will never be caught in a cage trap again. I dont think chipmunks are as smart, but i wouldn't bet on it. Thank you for your video .
😂😂😂 stop it ! Coons and possums will continue to get caught even if caught once . I've been trapping for 30 years . They are not that trap smart .
You have to transport them at least 10 miles away from your house or they’ll come back
I'll give him credit if he can make it back that far. Hawks, eagles, foxes and coyotes will get him first... put a dab of white paint on his back.
Have you ever caught a gray squirrel in this? I have a bunch of chipmunks but a ton of grays, too
I haven't caught any with this trap. You may want to try the Squirrelinator. It's the next size up. I've seen videos of that one catching lots of squirrels.
Can it be used for rats?
It probably could but they do make a slightly bigger one for rats 🐀.
Catchmor makes the Ratinator Trap. Can find them at most farm and tractor stores.
