This is such a deep and heartbreaking song. It's amazing that it was a radio hit. I can't see a song like that now doing the same. It says a lot about how superficial our society and all of us have become.
This song came out when I was about 12. I'm 40 now, and this song still hits me just as hard. Actually it hits me harder. This song ages like sad, tragic, and magical wine.
