The placenta is an organ that develops in the uterus during pregnancy. This structure provides oxygen and nutrients to a growing baby. It also removes waste products from the baby's blood. The placenta attaches to the wall of the uterus, and the baby's umbilical cord arises from it.
Accurate and well stated
It's also good dipped in Tostitos Spicy cheese with a dab of hot sauce 😉

The circle of life....that's what this is about...I 😢 ....
Loved this song since it was brand new. What a great era for music! Makes me feel a little old, though LOL Enjoy your youth while it lasts, Sceez!.... shit goes by in a blink!!!
Yes...we are all getting old since then...
Im old with ya. They dont make em like this no more
In a freaking blink
The whole throwing copper album is absolute fire. You can pick any song from it and be completely satisfied. I've had this album since it came out and still listen to it regularly...♡
My mother, while with us.. was a birth doula, childbirth educator, lactation consultant and many more things all about healing or bringing forth life. Every time I hear this... 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Ohhhh bro, this is the one song I turn to when life starts spinning out of control and I need some clarity and be reminded of my place in the universe. It's a very strong song, the video helped convey the message. That singer would be Ed Kowalczic. There's only one person who did a cover of that song that actually did it justice, Chris Daughtry when he was on American Idol. That was pretty brave of him to try and step into Ed's shoes a little. Because it's not just another song, it's more than that. And I'm glad that you like it.
Corey Taylor's (from Slipknot) version is literally amazing. Check it out on here and let me know what you think
Its crazy how hearing a song can take you back to a specific moment in your life. I was in 2nd grade at the pool with my friends just having fun. These 2 girls came up to me and told me that their brother had a huge crush on me. He was in my class. I spent the rest of the school year avoiding him at all costs because I was so weirded out and I felt so gross. For years, I'd hear this song and switch it so fast because I didn't want to feel that repulsive feeling again. Being an SA survivor at that age will have you reacting in all kinds of different ways to what others may find flattering.
This is the first time I've sat and listened and read the lyrics. I only ever knew the chorus. All I knew was the feeling it gave me -- sadness. There are a lot of songs I have heard as a child and never knew the lyrics to, but I always felt the mood behind the song. Words didn't need to tell me anything. 🤯🤯🤯 That's when you know its a good song. ❤
One of the best songs from the 90's
Placenta is an embryonic / fetal organ. Feeds nourishment to the baby through the umbilical cord.
Some people eat it 🤢, but I know for sure it’s in a lot of hair care products.
This is the only song that I listen to still till this day that brings tears to my eyes. Every time I hear it the song is heart wrenching.
Ed Kowalezyk was lead singer. He wrote this in his bedroom on the acoustic guitar. This is an awesome tune. Love your reaction Sceez..❤
You ROCK Sceez!!!!WWWAAAHHH!!!!
This was the first song I heard after my great grandmother died and I had to tell my dad. It still makes me cry.
Truly a masterpiece of a song. Voice crescendo.
The placenta is a circular "organ" thats mostly vessels to give the baby nutrients and oxygen while in the womb. It is attached to the Mom by wall of the uterus and to the baby by the umbilical cord. It is birthed after the baby in normal births. It is healthy and completely ok to consume if chosen to. Some women freeze blood or cells from it incase its needed for an unforseen illness for the baby. The baby is actually inside the amniotic sac, filled with amniotic fluid for protection.
The singer was actually our neighbor as kids growing up in Pennsylvania. They lived two houses down from us.
A song about something so simple and sad as a mother passing away after pregnancy is able to evoke such a tidal wave of emotions.
Truly a masterpiece.
Yay!❤ One of my faves!whoever recommended this, see what else they like😂
Jesus... barely into the video and you get it. YOU GET IT.. That doesn't happen often. THANK YOU!.. Love this. ❤️
Dig deep into this band, but only if you are prepared. They will take you to some very deep and dark places, as well as to the heights. First three albums are classics!
birTh To life; life To deaTh.....circle goes round
This has such a vibe. Came out in my college years. Ed is awesome
I believe this was inspired by the passing of a friend of the band, who made the incredibly selfless decision to be an organ donor, thus giving life to many others. Beautiful song.
Great tune here!
Such a beautiful one and always got to me that circle of life.
It's what comes after the child is born ...the baby is wrapped inside of it.
And in the song the placenta comes first. I never understood why there was confusion until I watched Season 2 episode 7 of Yellowjackets and they featured this song.
Great band from the 90s. Lot of great songs from Live.
😍💭
I was just playing this song lol. Great band❤
I used to not be able to listen to this song. I'm a pretty stoic person. But for personal reasons that I'm not about to get into here... This song was one of the few things in the world that could make me cry. Without fail. Still gets me misty, in fact. But for the longest time... I just couldn't listen to it at all. Sad, but beautiful song, indeed. 🥺_💔

I find it amazing you are wearing an Angels hat while listening to this song... God works in mysterious ways.
Now you must hear I Alone... real banger with a great message.
An amazing Gnostic song about the life recycling system we're trapped in. A message to remind us that we must go back to the Eternal Realm. Amazing talented artists. It's real
I always see someone in the comments remark on how quickly you are able to feel and understand the meaning of songs. Aside from making me laugh, this is what I like about you, and why I watch. It's really very cool how you can pick up on the meanings usually right away. Like with the first verse. And you can feel the music right away. Very cool. It is said that to play music, one must feel it. You can learn all the technical stuff, but to really play, you must be able to play by feel. I have been learning the guitar for five years now, and just can not play by feel. (I have trouble with feeling) Really wish I could. But....I would bet that you could.
You are the first reaction I've seen that got it in one. Props
I love this song too, it's special. ♾️⭕️🔥☮️💜
Good review. Chillingly beautiful.
One of the best concerts I ever saw live! PJ Harvey opened. If you haven't heard of her check her out.
They were my 2nd concert and Jeff Buckley opened. May he rest in peace.
My favorite song by LIVE is "Turn My Head". I'd love to see you react to that.
This song came out when I was about 12. It is so awesome watching you experience it for the first time! I'm SO glad you loved it! 😁😁😁❤❤❤
Look up the hidden track “Horse” from their Throwing Copper album, it’s my most favorite song by them 🤘🏼
I just really love watching black people react to rock songs they’ve never heard before.
LIVE has always been a fav. After my mother died in 2005, I still cry to this song…like right now. It’s beautiful. Touching. So full of emotions.
Awesome reaction. I have heard this song plenty of times, i know what it is about and all that and still watching you react to it and me trying to experience it like if it'd be the first time i kept getting chills, i seriously got chills like 6 or 7 times during the song, it was insane. This was a banger in the 90s n it still is an awesome song.
Still makes me wanna cry
Great reaction!! ❤
LOVE your reaction to this one!!!!!!
Loved this one too!! Doing some of my faves today!!
Live's first release is still one of my favorites from the 90s, "Operation Spirit". Its a faster-paced song. Super good lyrics, slap bass, killer drums, its all just superb.
So the song played , my son was in an MMA match . I wasn't there for her but 2004 I watched her die . I screamed her name is Cheyenne she was 6 . I scream I wasn't there for her
Og great tune 🔥
Excellent
If you liked this you’ve got to check out Overcome. It’s by far one of my personal favorites and I’d say that would go for any fan of Live.
Such a beautiful song. Not all of their stuff is this heavy, they can rock out a bit too ❤😊
I bought this CD when it came out. Many nights in high school going to sleep with it on repeat
Oh man olacenta is the afterbirth. The sac the babies in
Audioslave s Show Me How To Live ❤😊 Another deep song!
It's the sack you live in while in utero.
Epic
❤❤🔥🔥🔥
that baby is now like 25 yrs old.
Bruh yup
The placenta is the sack that the baby is in during pregnancy. Animals tend to eat the placenta if the baby is still in it after delivery. I'm not sure if that's so much because it's healthy as it is that they don't have opposable thumbs. Humans have other options. 😂
You could do an entire album review on this debut album. It is phenomenal. Pick anything for your next Live reaction.
I've seen horses do this. We got supermarkets and supplements, humans are WEIRD!
@@Mike_H76 😄
You might like Puddle of Mud
songs need to be this long so they can build up
Please react to black parade if you haven't yet.
The mother passes during birth
No she doesn't. It's an old woman down the hall who dies as the baby is born.
@@heidiv5488 Right but the video should have cast an older actress to play the old mother!
Gnostic story about the life cycle trap that eternal souls live in here in the devils realm
I hated this song when it came out and im not even sure why. Dolphins Cry was always my fave song by Live ❤
For me Dolphins Cry comes third behind Lightning Crashes and Overcome. Really all three are equally great so screw the order.
This song didn't used to mess me up. I guess some things get more impactful with age, now it inevitably chokes me up every time.
