I agree that the first Hobbit movie is “better” than LOTR, I think the pacing is great and the acting honestly is much better. Buuuuut the LOTR movies are an _experience_ and The Hobbit just failed to capture that. And the second two movies were just bad.
Their conversation about black Friday is spot on. Im pretty working class and came from a working class background, and I would never wait an hour and fight people for 50 bucks off a 300 bucks item.
Naw, I saved over $4000 on black friday. I went out back when it was real black friday years back, got in line around 1am, doors opened at 5am, I was the 1st to get to the jewelry counter and got over $5000 worth of gold&diamond jewelry for a little under $350. Gave some to my grandma, and some to my gf, and some to my next gf😅 (I left the original pricetags on em😂). So I basically made $1000/hour that night/morning. Nowadays they open at midnight so there's way more people and the deals are bullshit, not the 90% or more off like it used to be.

I disagree with them so much about the Lord of the rings. The extended versions are the only way to watch them! The Hobbit movies are not good. Still, everybody has their own opinion. Heck, they both liked the first Thor movie a lot so, whatever. It's all good!
