I bet most people who bought this game only got it because of Skyrim.
+LoN3wOlF5tudi0s It's called a fanbase. Good games tend to build a fanbase. So to answer your question yes Bethesda has a great fanbase because they make great games.
+LoN3wOlF5tudi0s People bought skyrim because oblivion was awesome people bought oblivion because morrowind was awesome hmph.
steve Thraxx I just can't help but feel people were caught up in the greatness of Skyrim and they expected more of that in this game. This game certainly does not live up to The Elder Scrolls series.
Dheeman Ghoshal Sure, that's true for some people. But the vast majority of people who bought Skyrim were newcomers to the series. For comparison, Oblivion shipped a bit over 1.7 million copies to retail stores to be sold within 3 weeks of release. 3.5 million copies of the game had been sold by the time Skyrim was released in November 2011, which was over 5 and a half years after Oblivion was released. Now Skyrim on the other hand sold 3.4 million physical copies of the game and at least 230 000 digital (Steam) versions of the game. So, what Oblivion sold 5 and a half years was surpassed by Skyrim in 2 days. Once Skyrim has been out for 5 and a half years we'll see how much it has sold compared to Oblivion's 3.5 million sales in that time. In June 2013, Bethesda said over 20 million copies of the game had been sold.
LoN3wOlF5tudi0s Alright so we agree they have a fanbase correct?
Your response to this fact is to talk about how newcomers to the series bought Skyrim? Yes new people buy ES games all the time but that doesn't change the fact that Bethesda has a large fanbase that love the games they make because they make good games.
That would also include any "newcomers" to Skyrim (5 years ago) that now consider themselves fans. Even with all of that said about ES games it should be clear that Bethesda's fanbase extends farther than ES games.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Bethesda_Softworks_video_games
I bought and played Fallout merely because it was a Bethesda game and I knew they were a good content producer. They didn't fail me or millions of other players either. Just because you don't like their game doesn't mean everyone or even most people share your opinion.
I get it you don't like ESO. That's fine but that's a personal subjective opinion you hold. It's not objectively true. Trying to talk people down because they enjoy a game you don't isn't a productive means to any conversation.
Implying that people aren't really fans because they entered the series at Skyrim is rather childish if you ask me. People are gonna play and enjoy whatever game they please regardless of your personal opinion.
Corporate commander is the greatest villian of all time
And one of few that actually gets away with it.
Shouldn't he realize if he releases BETTER games, he would get more money?
SpeedyEric1 But that means LOOSING money first, and winning more money in the long and painful way. Why make more money the hard way when you can have a lot with less effort and more quick?
Your idea is clever at the end, but this guy doesn't think clever, he thinks GREEDY.
He’s the CEO of EA
Because that's a standard dictator mentality, they expect short period investment expecting a good amount of money instead a long terms investment to have a stable income
To think that when this video was uploaded, Anthem was supposed to be in production...
Judging by the quality, I have a distinct feeling Anthem was actually developed over about 11 months when Bioware freaked out about MEA tanking.
Sad to say that this was better than Fallout 76, even at its launch.
Correct Opinion that's because zenimax should've made fallout 76
I’m actually not sure that I agree with this. I didn’t play Fallout 76 but this game was TERRIBLE!
@@wakkjobbwizard Played both, trust me.
@@wakkjobbwizard You mean to say: 'I found this game terrible'. Seeing as it has been thriving for a few years now, it seems to be a game of great quality.
And before you go on a "aah, another fanboy" rant... I haven't played the game in years.
ahh, another fanboy...
The achievement for falling out the map was the funniest thing ever, lmao
LOL who and what kind of developer put the achievement like this
they shall be one new, it could go wrong, as fallout of bad
the achievement was because he died in those waters :P
The achivement is for dieing to slaughterfish
Classic Bethesda bug. Been falling through the floor since 2003 lol X,D
I kinda want him to go back and play it now just to see what his review would be now because apparently it's VASTLY improved.
Chess RedEagle i was wondering the same thing
Chess RedEagle nothing has changed im currently playing ps4 and its just as described in the video
Orange County Rattery No it's not. I've played a bit and my brother has played a lot, and I can already see several numerous differences between the original release and now. Don't talk out of your ass.
Chess RedEagle Just got it for Ps4 and I'm so amazed *_* I know where i'll be spending the next year ^^
Chess RedEagle in all honesty if a game takes THAT long to get to a state, somebody would call it good, i would just not get it out of protest. Its like playing a beta on release and eventually getting a final product afterwards, its not how this stuff should work. i get that its not competitive in its category but the people who bought it on release, got screwed over and could have put their money somewhere they actually could get value for their investment. Not saying that its a bad game now, don't really know, i am however saying that they fucked up big time.
Here after watching the Fallout 76 review
Second verse, same as the first.
Same lmao
Same
Same, strike 2 Bethesda! 1 more and it's counted as a confirmation of an EA merger
Charlie Luciano You’ve bin missing out than.. AJR are hilarious. I’m actually rewatching this review. I’ve bin thinking about getting into ESO
I love how the "Horse Armor Debacle" doesn't even _compare_ to today's awful microtransactions, DLCs and lootboxes, but there's way more people defending this way worse shit than the amount of people who defended horse armor back then.
Goes to show just how well that systematic desensitization works that gaming companies have been doing over the years.
True.. with the lootbox systems, the players arent even guaranteed if the money they already spent was worth it or not..
I will say lootboxes are bullshit, the dlc is eh I mean some games (*cough* destiny 2 *cough*) do that now and since ESO plus the “evolved” version of their old subscription service let’s you play them free. It kinda is ok. Also, they give some for free every now and then so if you’re new and don’t want to spend $400 on the what 12 dlc’s now? You can either sub each month and get it (along with the craft bag which is one of the best parts besides the dlc given in ESO plus) or wait and maybe get one.... whenever they actually do it as it is rare.
AniGa
Whose idea was Horse armor?? Not ZOS... ESO is their first game.... Also, congrats to ZOS for creating a community driven value-added event... Thanks to the community, anyone who buys ESO: Greymoor gets a free house... Although I believe this is time sensitive...
@@tazzeightsixfour9721 God damn, your post sounds like a script directly out of ESOs public relations propaganda pamphlet.
Most gamers are now a younger generation and this dunpsterfire is all they know. They don’t know how good gaming was back in the day.
You should try reviewing the game again they really improved it immensely
MrYodalemos Why? No one cares about this game anymore except for whatever small base of players are there. If they were willing to charge 60 bucks and a subscription then his review at the time was good enough.
I know how it feels though, I played Vanguard which after the bug fixes was a million times better than this game as an mmo. But, by that point it was to late. Maybe it will do better on xbox/playstation.
matt reeves funny you say that because the game is just growing and growing since b2p and most people i know still pay soo yeah...
matt reeves 9th best selling game on Steam ;)
SkillTyper Where can you see this?
MrYodalemos YOUR AN EMPLOYEE DONT TRUST THIS COMMENT!
On another note: Isn't anyone tired of seeing those massively flashy and cinematic trailers for a game, Only to have the game look absolutely nothing like that? No other medium apart from games gets away with that sort of blatant false advertising...
It feels like movies (as an example) pray that people will watch, while games are prayed at by people to be made. It's a stupid mentality, and as all mentalities it was made during a period of time and it will take a lot of time to change it. Tons of time, or a huge event. Another gaming market crisis could change that mentality, but a change in mentality seems needed for that event to happen in the first place.
I'm with you on that, that's why I usually check for an actual gameplay video if I want to check out the game instead of a cinematic trailer.
Well, there is a big difference between gameplay and cinematic trailers, which is pretty much always clearly highlighted. They're not supposed to fool you into thinking that's what the game is like, they're just supposed to be cool to watch and generate hype for the associated title. I enjoy them. Animation for cinematics is a very different concept to animation for a game and on a game engine.
***** The entire purpose of those trailers is to trick ignorant people into buying them. "Oh my god, this game is going to be epic!" ... proceeds to look nothing even REMOTELY like the trailer.
Gaming with Mikey! and this is entirely on the head of said idiot for not understanding how advertising works.
This is not the intention, because almost nobody who vaguely understands the gaming community will think that a cinematic trailer is a good representation of a game itself nowadays. They simply get the name out there and on people's minds (because they often come much before gameplay trailers) and set the tone of the game itself (usually), giving people some vague idea of what to expect and look out for.
Welcome back, Fallout 76-ers. Hindsight's 20/20, eh?
May America Fail and be given away to the Communist Chinese!!!!!
...yes
Stop making stupid online games. And stick with the formula that has worked for them for years.
You should've said hindsight's 20/18
Yeah, I'll just go...
Lol, truth
Wait, this game is set 1000 years before skyrim? You mean teknology has´nt evolved at all in 1000 years?
just what?
Almost like in real life where humans lived thousands of years using only fire and pointy tools
@@bareyeelos2417 You´re comparing cavemen with people of elder scrolls series? Those are two completely different things my friend. See, cavemen had very little understanding of how the world works, unlike people of ES.
ye know 0 ad people had civilization and 1000 ad all had civilization, but neither of them had technology like modern machinery i assume ur 12 year old pepeg judging from your teknology
Fester Blatz good point lol
Every time Joe opens with "you fucked it up". I know it's going to be a good review.
I know right!
Not really.
Imagining him say that about a good game 😂
yeah, what the heck?! 13:00
All the developers and publishers will learn to fear the cursed words contained in Joe's reviews... "Ya fucked it up."
Split Head Media it varies 🙂
The EngiWizard or even worse
"Ya DONE fucked it up"
He isn't relevant.
Coleman Trebor Hero of the republic - To be one of the top reviewers, I'm sure he is partly.
Coleman Trebor Hero of the republic yeah he is?? Stop trolling
I think Joe was so heartbroken, he REFUSES to check back on this game after 2020.
theBluseal not really, it’s fun and beautiful. Still money-hungry but what can you say, it’s Bethesda.
Nowadays you can’t mention a good MMO, ESO is not that bad and if you get it on sale, I’d say it’s worth it.
This game is still shit go to their facebook page and u will still see ppl complaining about
@theBluseal All of the bad points joe gave to it are fixed now.
I hope Joe tries ESO out again in the near future. This game is a lagfest during prime time. Server performance is the worst myself and many others have experienced in the games lifetime. The Crown Store is fully equipped to sell us disgusting microtransactions ranging from $120 digital houses to skill lines/skill points. ..and now a low effort mobile mini game is a major selling point of the next Chapter: Greymoor. Corporate Commander is fully in control at ZOS.
You know it’s gonna be a good video when he starts it like that
YOU DONE FUCKED IT UP
Suprise Surprise, Elder Scrolls Online will be going Free To Play March 17th. Who is surprised by this? I sure as shit aint.
coorta No it isn't.
B2P and F2P aren't the same thing.
superjoshey223
Yeah well what I meant by that was you no longer have to pay a subscription. You do have to buy the game first. To be honest, I do not like the idea. Especially since it was not how it started. If they had done so like Guild Wars from the start I would not have a problem with it. They could give me the game for free with everything unlocked and I still would not play it. I played the beta and never even bothered buying the game as it was a shell of a game, and not even a very good one.
coorta The game now isn't the same as it was in beta. It's very different tbh.
superjoshey223
So grouping up is not a waste of time? So the game has some actual meaningful content that is actually fun? Have they stripped the game down to its basic code and started again from scratch and made the game how it should have been made in the first place? Because that is THE only way they would ever get me to part with my money.
coorta yes they did now go play it!
ATTENTION ALL:
This review is no longer accurate. It's from an old, dated version of the game and there are 6 updates out now with more to come, addressing mostly what Joe has been criticizing like adding in the crime system, lower horse prices, fixed bugs, no more bots/dungeon camping, and even better it's now B2P which means it no longer requires a sub to play. So don't take this review seriously, since it's already outdated.
superjoshey223 I dunno, I don't think I'd ever play it.
Heck, there's no good mmorpgs. They're all cash grabs.
***** Dead on arrival my ass, there are tons of players everywhere all the time. But "hurr durr megaserver huhu" you might say, but Wildstar has megaservers and 400k subscribers but it's still empty. You can even go on the ESO reddit and see all the posts about players returning and coming, but none leaving.
*****
1) ESO barely has any broken quests either.
2) The reason the mobs drop little gold is to discourage grinding...stop being such a lazyass and do quests or delves instead.
3) ESO isn't broken anymore.
4) It wasn't developed by Bethesda.
***** I never said prevents grinding. It discourages grinding because there are much easier ways of earning money other than endlessly grinding mobs.
Btw I don't know any other MMO that has a half-decent alternate advancement system, or a crime system, or spellcrafting.
***** Also I'd prefer not to have some shitty cash shop in my game, even more of a money grab.
None of those two games have all 3 of what I mentioned, nor a healthy population.
Funny how these releases patched into being an mmo and WoW is patching itself into a single player game.
A: i'm going to defeat monster and gain a wealth!!!
B: just gonna raise a horse to sell , yeah a horse.
ESO: A game nobody asked for, that over-hyped itself, and has a fanbase that defends their chosen MMO to the death.
How incredibly average. I expected more from and Elder Scrolls game.
Sadly, everyone who doesn't enjoy it as their new favorite MMO thinks it is horrible and probably the worst game ever. Really, while it has some problems, it isn't a bad game. That said, it is not like other Elder Scrolls games. That is good, because the normal mechanics would not work in an MMO.
Wait...
I was reading the comments below and saw something... something that, if true, would be greatly disturbing...
Is it true that the last 2 DLCs of Skyrim were cancelled to make this schlock? Dear God, please don't let this be true... please be a rumor...
*****
#Weepforgaming
***** If it's any consolation mate, _Bethesda_ dropped those DLC so they could move onto _their_ next project, whereas this was made by Zenimax. We still lost those two expansions, but at least it wasn't to bring us THIS.
***** Oh. So much for my optimism, then :(
***** what have they been working on (edit) no there working on battlecry
Yeah, no, not at all. The people who are spewing this BS are obviously just people who forgot to leave the ESO hate wagon 5 months ago. Bethesda Game Studios (the people who made all single-player TES games) and Zenimax Online (the people who made ESO) are two completely different entities and have no relation in terms of budget and development. So, no, it's all just BS, TES games, since Morrowind have always had only two major expansions (Tribunal and Bloodmoon, Knights of the Nine and Shimmering Isles and now Dawnguard and Dragonborn.
***** and Clarence Flett please stop spreading misconsceptions.
Zenimax Media is a publisher that owns Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax Online, the people who made ESO.
Bethesda Softworks is the publisher for companies like Id Software, Lionhead studios, etc, they're only PUBLISHING Battlecry, not developing it. Bethesda Game Studios, the peple that brought you Skyrim fall under Bethesda Softworks, which is owned by Zenimax Media, which also owns a SEPERATE studio named Zenimax Online which brought you ESO.
I Hope thius clears *EVERYTHING* up and wrecks the bullshit that's going around.
6 years later and the game has pulled a total 180. Really fun to rewatch this and remember how fucking abysmal the game was and how fun it is now.
Yyyyeah...no. Its undoubtedly better now, but its still boring af
@@ahabduennschitz7670 Bro this was 3 YEARS ago, fuck off.
@@ahabduennschitz7670 I like the zone quests in this game. I do agree some zones are absolutely boring 😂😂😂

The world will never change...
That is fantasy for you! :D
and also Zenimax Online
Theres large gaps of time between every Elder Scrolls game and tech never changes. Its kinda a series thing.
The entire review Joe didn't seem as angry as he used to be in the other videos. He seemed more broken-hearted about this game than angry and its kinda sad how lifeless the gameplay footage was.
For anyone new, or first watching this considering the game: This review is SUPER outdated. ESO is one of the best MMORPGs you can play nowadays.
I love the quests in this, no shitty "kill x monsters", all quests have a little bit of a story. I recently started a new character, and after 20 hours I've only completed the first quest of the main questline of the latest Elsweyr expansion (funny, reviews complained that the main quest takes 3-4 hours, but I don't think you're supposed to rush through the main quest at once, I take my time in accepting every sidequest I come across, it's super enjoyable and relaxing). I'm literally NOWHERE in the game yet, and I'm super happy about that. I look forward to so much.
Many complain of the combat, I personally love the telegraphed attacks and dodging, mixing light, heavy attacks with skills, blocking and block bashes.
I originally bought the game 2 years ago, when the first, Morrowind explansion wasn't even out, had a character but never really got into the game. Just a week ago I bought the full game with all expansions again (because that was the cheapest way I could get everything), and I've been REALLY enjoying it. Love the lore, the voiced dialogue, the artstyle, the gameplay, and I fully play it solo. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an RPG to play.
You can get the full game with all 3 expansions for less than 20 euros on third party sites which is an incredible value. But the base game is on sale for 10 euros on the website if you only want the minimum (which is still a ridiculous amount of content).
Probably nobody's gonna read this, but I still wanted to get this out there.
Dralis i agree although one thing i will say is the game is missing some type of "wow" factor but at the same time it is one of the best mmo games u can play
I agree i love this game 💯
Angry Joe should have rereviewed, this. He put in a lot of hours into this game after the review when it got better.
I wish games would release as a solid game instead of starting as a dirty money grab then getting better later. I played ESO at first and hated it so i never touched it again. If it had released in the state it is in now i would probably still be playing it.
@@skillethead15 Oh don't get me wrong, I wholeheartedly agree with that. It sucks but it's just the way it is right now sadly. Developers get lazy and or rushed, the beginning of the product is mediocre, and after feedback and more time (and money lol) shit gets fixed, I mean look at Battlefront 2 or Destiny 2 they still aren't perfect. But they are certainly a lot more enjoyable then when they came out.
Joe you should check eso out now! it has everything you've ever wanted and more! housing, house guests, events, new locations, chapters, everything!
Don't believe the bullshit going around that this game has improved substantially, because it hasn't. There has been a minimal effort to fix all the flaws that have plagued the game since release, and even though their use base has been in a stable decline they still haven't gotten rid of the subscription fee. Just wait for the next single-player Elder scrolls to come out, don't throw away your cash.
Trixie believes that the Elder Scrolls is dead, Skyrim wasn't even worth playing when you compare it to previous TNES games. Skyrim had a shitty spell layout, where they had very few to choose from, the combat system was choppy. Plus, no jiggle physics, and major handholding, shitty level and system too. Oblivion had TONS of spells and a better combat system. Go play classics like Daggerfall or Morrowind. Also hi Frodo! *hugs*
Trixie Lulamoon
-Hugs all The Elder Scroll games- I love them all and I still play them all, such a wonderful lore.
MoneMtwoAbrams I enjoyed them all too for the most part, but ESO was a failure. It directly broke lore in some cases, and had boring repetitive gameplay. That combined with the subscription fee for a sub par game gave it a violent push, and it was dead before it even hit the ground.
Frodo Baggins says ESO is still shitty, you say?
If it weren't for all of my common sense, I'd say you're just trying to help the LotRO community grow.
Trixie Lulamoon You speak in third person as a my little pony character, and think a lack of jiggle physics breaks a game.
Do bronies wonder why people hate them or have you "guys" figured it out?
Yea, no money for this shit..
***** Yea, even tho Azura's sister Nocturnal is more preferable for this context :D
Holy shit it's been 6 years.
Almost all of the things mentioned in this video were fixed some time ago
*ALMOST*
he got 2 gold for killing the boss but did it twice so he really only got 1 gold HAHAHA and the charge moment had my dying
Mohammed Aso at the time this review was released, you got gold by killing enemies.
It's elder scrolls you get rich by cheeseing the game with potion glitch and sell them for thousands or sell everything that's not nailed down that you pick-up while questing lol 😜
Wait the game costs £60 to buy, and then a further £15 a month to keep playing?! See, this is why I will never touch MMO's like this. They should either have a single charge of £60 and let you play forever, OR let you download it free and then have the monthly subscription. NOT both. This is the same reason why I won't touch WoW with a ten foot barge pole. That's a lot of money to risk on a game you might not even like. I mean sure, you might like the game during your first month, but what happens when you reach the end of say your second month and are totally fed up by then? That means you've lost £75 on a game. More if you try to stick it out for longer. That's ridiculous!! And the first month isn't free - you paid £60 for it! For that you should get at least the first four months at no extra cost....you know, £60 worth of monthly subscription fees?
I mean the grouping issue and other "play with others" issues aren't a problem for me anyway - I'm a lone player, always have been always will be. The sheer cost of the game and in-game items (and how hard/easy it is to gain in-game currency) is what makes or breaks it for me.
David Struve u mean its $60 and $15 monthly convert that to pounds thats he much it costs in the uk
Yeah, thats the American value. Here in the UK it's more like £40 then an extra £10 on top of that.
Still not great...
It's why I play Guild Wars 2 - cost me £30 on day one (less when I had money on a loyalty card) and I've never had to pay any more on top and we've been given mini expansions every fortnight to get stuck in with.
AND! It's actually a good game to play, unlike the time I had in TESO
dude I am sorry but WoW puts this game to shame. Yes you pay both the price and the subscription but the game is beautiful the mechanics are wonderful and it is balanced and well made. While this game makes it hell to group up, I mean if you get shit like that in a dungeon why go to a dungeon at all...its a game that convinces you not to play it.
no one expected this man i thought Bethesda would make the greatest mmo but they dun fucked it up
Who the hell even asked for an MMO Elder Scrolls anyways?
You want to know what I want? I want a CO-OP Elder Scrolls.
Traversing the world of Tamriel with just ONE friend would be extremely easy to make feel like a regular Elder Scrolls game, just with the awesomeness of being with your best buddy.
I agree, but with a group of friends so others don't ruin it, but still have a designated area for pvp since that looks cool, but still the other spots should just be you with your group of friends.
OMG that would be awesome! I was thinking the exact same thing!
Victor Walewicz I know right? I mean think about. It wouldn't be hard for Bethesda to either:
1 - Make all the NPC dialogue ambiguous to whether they are addressing 1 person or 2 people.
or 2 - Make it so all NPCs have alternative lines for certain dialogues that would require the NPCs to address either 1 person or 2 people.
The gods have spoken
CO-Op ES would be so awesome. I like this idea a LOT more than a MMO version.
@16:44 they actually revoiced it. i did that quest recently n the tree has a deeper voice now and it echoes xD
16 times the DeTaiL

Marcus Maxentius Augustus , such an timeless comment.
5 times the size.
Its almost 100% fixed now on all his complaints
dedicated servers....
They fixed most things but the game still isn't exciting
+rony guillen ikr
***** Wow, you played all the way to lvl 15?? You must have a HUGE amount of experience then...
Listen, I've been blazin' the trail in Tamriel on ESO since beta for PC/Mac users (The Master race...) You no nothing, Jon Snow.
+Dalton Whitaker more vibrance in the world and spiced up music are subjective criteria, so you can't be taken seriously....
+Tazz EightSixFour I have a vet one vamp and vet 3 werewolf it's pretty boring the story is so shit I just speed run through them
oh it is. and they should still continue it until more people enjoy this shit.
Dalton Kleindienst Hmmm... 5 days and only level 9?? Although there is no right or wrong way to play, and ZOS (Zenimax Online Studios) developed a game which is flexible enough to accommodate a variety of playstyles, there is a right and wrong way to play to optimize leveling... I play in AD, I came out of the Wailing prison at level 5, and out of Khanarthi's roost at lvl 8 or high 7, I dont recall... This made it much quicker to level, because I could take down mobs in less time...
If one plays ESO with only a *casual* attitude towards the unique content which is provided by ZOS, one will not find it as exciting. If one *HULKSMASHES* their way in a straight line (which your slow-leveling confirms...) in a world as large as Tamriel, one will get bored...
To really derive the maximum amount of enjoyment from ESO, one needs to invest a little time in the 100% voice-acted dialogue, lorebooks, etc... so that leveling isnt such a slog. Also, it might be helpful to manage your time better....
So its subscription based but still has micro-transactions? That is the biggest crock of bullshit I have ever heard...
So is wow whats your point?
***** And you're not really that wrong, except for the fact almost everything that's microtransactions in WoW (to my knowledge) is purely cosmetic, save a few select mounts and the retarded jump-to-level-90 "boost" (AKA: legit cheat). I'll be honest, I like WoW, no I LOVE WoW. But I can't support it anymore with such a suck-ass condition.
I'm sorry Blizz, but you've lost my support of WoW, but captured my love of Hearthstone.
Sincerly,
A Since-Vanilla WoW Addict.
a crock pot of shit, that's been cooking for way to long!
Hey, c'mon you can't really hate on WoW for the micro transactions. Mainly because you can buy the game, keep your subscription up and you'll be alright. Paying players won't shit on you in any way other than having a shinier mount or a sweet pet. The microtransactions are cosmetic and don't affect the game.
About the insta lvl 90, that's not a cheat, some players just dislike grinding like crazy. It doesn't affect the game itself again because if I use it I don't get anything that gives me an advantage. I just skip all the grinding and boring stuff.
***** Actually for PvP-ing your rewards are better gear, gear you cannot buy (atleast from blizzard). There probably are cosmetics as a reward but I don't think you can buy those with money too. The stuff you can buy is pretty much exclusive to being bought. I doubt seeing a guy have a penguin, or a sweet mount he paid for ruins your gaming experience and gives him an advantage in PvP/PvE.
Its better now but still super dull. All the quests are so boring its unbelievable I just skip all the dialogue and blow through quests hoping to find something interesting at some point
I personally find a lot of enjoyment in the story and dialogue, as it drives me to complete the quest. For example, Morrowind has a quest line with an Argonian named Sun-In-Shadow. It's a political story, but set in the rich lore of ES, I can't help but fall in love with the world and it's characters.
JakesNation98 I think that’s your problem.
This game call for you to engage in the whole roleplay element, just like GW2.
Hench why there is so many lore books aswell.
Else your probably want a more action packed game (like with black deserts combat or the like).
Or maybe another genre, moba, FPS or the like.
dialogues and stories are cool but implementation is very basic. like with all the mmos, it lacks immersion. all the quests boil down to talking with npc-s, looting something, and killing the boss in the end. occasionally you get to do very simple puzzle and that's it. if you have completed one map you kinda seen all this game has to offer for questing experience
@@sten260 The fuck do you want? for the game to find you a girlfriend? It's a game ffs. Everything you have ever done in your entire life is a "move from a to b" shit. If you want immersion, get immersed in the fucking story. The only reason it sounds dull or basic, is because you skim through the details that make one mission different from the other.
Would be awesome if you did another review of this game all these years later. The game is unrecognisable. It’s fixed a lot of these problems and hilariously replaced them with all new worse problems!
lmao that a big lie , the game still crash pvp or pve, pvp still have worse fps , no good rewards from achievement , evehhhryone flexing with crown crate items , every new dlc or chapter they give playersh who buy them totally broken and op items / pay to win/ , toxicity everywhere / getting banned rarely and many other problems
That would never happen. Joe never revisits games that have had terrible launches but will continue to shit on anyone that chooses to play them after they got better as if there weren't any updates.
Having now played a lot of the game recently, he really did a disservice by barely talking about the main story or the voice acting, notably Michael Gambon (Dumbledore from 3rd and follow up Harry Potter movies) John Cleese and Peter Stormare.
Movie questgiver dialogue is indeed boring and I skip a lot of it, but at least they redid all the bad developer dialogue. I talked to that tree and it didn't sound like some fake Brit in an office cubicle.
Resource hogging is still a thing but they do respawn frequently.
I don't know if it was changed, but horses are currently cosmetic. You get a free one for your entire account the first time you hit level 10 and you upgrade your character's horse riding stats and inventory capacity once a day at stables. Sucks that it's designed to take half a year of daily logins to max out. Would be okay if it was account wide, but it's clearly set up to milk richer players that have more money than time.
I'm barely dipping my toes into the endgame, but after my love/hate relationship with 76, I'm really, really addicted to this game. Just enjoying roaming the world, experimenting with my skill lineup and fishing while I wait for my massive bounty to subside, haha.

@@Verasoulyeah. Game has gotten a lot better since this terrible launch. Still lots of problems of course.
I have had this game for 2 days and I haven't even found a pair of boots. Looks like I'll be going back to Oblivion and Skyrim.
You must be horrible at gaming.
I'm definitely not a good gamer, but in the previous elder scrolls games you would have a full set of armour within 20 minutes. There is barely any loot in this game.
There is ton of loot you just need to do a few quests to round out what you have. The way drops on monsters works is about the same as any other MMO I think you are trying too hard to compare it to single player games. I don't remember having a problem getting armor when I started the game it took a little bit of time yes but wasn't a big deal.
Shinethelight I am just another one of the single player elder scrolls fans that is attempting ignore the fact that this game is an mmo. Obviously, it isn't working very well.
When I told Bethesda in their chats and shit I would love Elder Scrolls to be multiplayer, I meant online co-op or local/lan multiplayer. Not this. Never this...

Richard Greeter To each his/her own. I just find nothing appealing about that game, what-so-ever.
The game has actually improved a lot but the fact that it took 5 YEARS for it to be an acceptable MMO is ridiculous
Who knows? Maybe Fallout 76 will have the same fate

The review was "of it's time" most of the people here are arguing the point the the mmo got massively improved bei zenimax. It doesn't make sense at all, seriously. With that logic, it is totally fine to release shitty, broken games for the full price + digital deluxe prices and seasonpass prices by just telling yourself "no problem, in 5 years the game will be fixed... MAYBE!" Guys that's an entire dev cycle in some cases. People are so strange sometimes it feels they just like to join a side of ANY argument just to argue about something
a multiplayer co-op mod or dlc for skyrim would have been infinitely better.

@theBluseal how the fuck is smite even close to a MMO rpg
@theBluseal fastest way to lose your credibility is to call smite a mmorpg.
Remember this game being boring now I got friends and it's way more fun, I love the game
On reflection, it's probably a bad sign when Corporate Commander is in the thumbnail of the video.
The mark of death.
I remember when you could buy a game and not have to get DLC to make it fun and fill it out or pre order and or get the "collectors edition" to get features that should have been available by default and this pay to play thing is really getting out of hand with games lately.
I use to love games but the past 5 or so years with not getting the full game and having to keep paying after you buy the game is really letting me down as a gamer and not just me but allot of people.
In the end I think games are less about having fun with more or less a really cool toy that you plug in to your tv and more about company's just exploiting people just to get more money out of them for stuff that was free about 8+ years ago.
It actually makes me feel sad and angry that this is what happened to a toy (and let's face it consoles are just toys) that was once just about fun is now just about making money and exploiting people.
The8bitFreak DLC is the norm today , industry's evolve over time, its costs so much to makes games these days they need to get as much back as possible, if it makes you sad just quit dude, and as always no one forces you to buy it
BLACK LANTERN OF EARTH True but don't you think its kind of killing it that something that's supposes to be only at its worst $50-60 ending up being £130+ because the main game is boring and needs padding out?
But in the end you are probably right.
Truth be told though I have not got any of the new games lately because well you know and the next jen consoles all have good and bad things about them but to me the bad out ways the good so I guess I kind of all ready gave up and went screw it am out.
Ow well at least I have my old games with allot of jem's lost to time and I do have my eye on that 3rd party HD nintendo so yeah its not all bad.
Thanks I guess.
The8bitFreak I remember when game studios had to spend X amount to make a game and be paid for it enough to make a profit.
Not like today when studios have to spend X + XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX to make the game and only make xx back. So now they make dlc and limited collector sets to raise the price and value of their game to actually make money back.
So either gamers all have to buy every game, or studios should be able to make less.
Gamers cant demand 500 million dollar products for the same price 4 million dollar games sold for.
The8bitFreak Well, to be honest, it is our faults. If meaningless DLC wasn't purchased so much then developers would see that no one wants it. If so many people didn't pre order at every chance we wouldn't have the pre ordering problems we have today. That and the issue of creating a game now costs more.
That One Kid With an 8 incher I know it really sucks and big offenders of this are games like COD and Destiny because games like that are built round DLC.
Half the time it feels like they just do it to cash grab instead of needing money.
I think it would be better if they let you buy dlc on disc at a store and have most of it at once but only the good stuff like expansions and new places and weapons or monsters in the game not stuff like gun colors and armor color because that should be on disc by default.
at least you would be glad that you could keep it on a disc instead of it going all wrong if you loose your data and can not git it back so yeah.
I know they do it sometimes but that's only with the special versions stuff and half the time its a web code not a disk.
I honestly cant believe people actually paided 60$ and then paid the 15$ a month
Honestly the game was great a lot of Joe's complaints exist in ALL MMORPGS.
All the more reason not to play MMORPGs.
I cant believe shit games like ESO have Fanboys willing to defend it lmao
We need to get Joe to review this game again

Why? It might get a 1 or 2 point increase. Hardly worth it.
If he returns to every game he reviews then he'll be stuck doing that forever. At least he talks further about past games in his news show.
There are loads of MMO's that let two riders share a mount, and all are FTP. Off the top of my head are Perfect World Online and the Mabinogi series always has. The cost of mounts here is absolutely absurd.

Mr_Diddlez Half the things Angry Joe mentions are no longer true. You should watch ChaosD1's review on youtube for a more updated opinion. Joe even uses clips from Chaos' on his Top10 worst games.
Mr_Diddlez Just completed some of the quests they had examples of in the video. To answer your question, No. They are as they are in the video. NPCs just stand their while you fight right in front of them or you run past and they are just standing in one place. You would think they would have movement mechanics on everything. Only some things have movement mechanics. Others they just stand there. The quest with the 3 oblivion gates. I completed very quickly. In Oblivion (the game) I remember having to go in towers and all that). This question, you enter near the top, battle a few creatures, and then touch the stone. Really?

Combat needs a little rework in Elder Scrolls (not a gigantic one, just you know Mordhau-ish or Chivalry-ish) but i agree mostly. Even tho to be honest i'd prefer a smaller but detailed map over an enormous but empty one.
He should revisit eso
Im sorry but Skyrim sold twenty million copies as a good quality single player game. How can bethesda then see those figures and fuck up like this. You pay $60 and then a monthly fee of $15 for shitty bugged up gameplay in a story along with thousands of other people. What a waste of money.
Bethesda Game Studios didn't make TES:O.
True, it was made by zenimax who own bethesda. Thus they would still have worked together
Luke Snyders l still don't think the main guys at bethesda would release shit like this
Luke Snyders Luke I need to explain something to you, Zenimax does own Bethesda, but that doesn't mean Bethesda was Zenimax's partner in crime here. Bethesda had very little input regarding ESO, if Bethesda did handle the large majority of ESO then I assure you the game would be the "Skyrim Online" everyone wanted, a game that is your choice from the minute you enter it, a world and story that can be shaped by your actions and having your friends partake in those quests no matter the choices they make
People seem to be missing my point here, i know very well that the game was not made by the bethesda producing branch, it was made by zenimax, however the game would have been ordered and published by Bethesda Softworks, so technically i am right when i say bethesda fucked up
As soon as I watched him storm in all annoyed looking, I was like "aw, that's my boi! He's at it again! He's gonna say it!", and then he was like, "...You done FUCKED it up!"
Now, what did I tell y'all?!

I'm so glad I started ESO years after it's release. They have fixed alot of the problems mentioned in this video but it is still a money pit
I am a bit late, but can you give a short review on current reasons to give this a try?
Is the game a grind fest if you dont pay more $$$?
@@TheProjectVoid The only thing paying money gives you nowadays is a 10% bonus to experience (which is negligible as you can enchant armor with exp bonuses fairly easily) double bank space, double furniture placement limit, double capacity for transumute crystals (which honestly you won't be dealing with issues on that until very late game). You also get 1500 crowns every month to spend on cosmetics or one time use food buffs which are very helpful for a beginner but easily outclassed by player made foods and potions/poisons. You get access to every DLC that has been released as well except for the most recently released chapter, with the current expansion being High Isle. However you will get access to High Isle when the next expansion comes out. I would say the best reason to pay for a subscription is to be able to play all the expansions and have access to the craft bag, the craft bag gives you infinite storage space for crafting materials like plants, cloth, metal and cooking ingredients. The game of course with as many expansions as it has gotten since release will be a grind fest, but paying for premium does not increase the rate of the grind by very much. The most it will do is save you some time with going to a bank to deposit your crafting materials. An additional note is you can buy horse upgrades for speed, item capacity and stamina, with stamina not mattering at all unless you plan to Pvp. The horse can be upgraded every day for free by one level. There is also now a daily login reward that will give you premium potions, food buff items, 50/100/150% exp scrolls, 1k/5k/10k gold and a lot of other different items that will help a returning player or a new one. EXP should never be an issue with the increased daily exp boost from dungeons and pvp arena.

It's alright Joe, Star Citizen is coming.
Then it'll be anohter aliens CM and Joe will die of a heart attack
Boy, oh boy... If Joe could see the cash shop nowadays, he would get angry all over again.
I find it ironic that Bethesda would want players to pay for the Imperial Race, a race that in their own prior game Skyrim, Imperials had a special ability called Imperial Luck that would give them more gold septims, an ability that isn't present in Elder Scrolls Online. Something that would be ideal for helping with the currency issue, though, I guess more people would go Imperial because of how much more faster septims would be given out if Imperial Luck was a trait kept around.
with the new updates for 2016 currently I would give it a 10/10

+SAO LOVER its just not for the average mmo gamers it seems, the game is pretty solid thought
problem is it was a lot hyped and people that hadnt played any mmo jumped in and had no patience to do quests...full voiced quest with decent story, and i see people still saying they are bored,"gamers" are so pampered and lazy those days.
Democritus86 yeah

+SAO LOVER really!? I just got it today for 15 bucks.. I hope it's worth it.
I knew Elder Scrolls Online was going to be a massive money pit. It's a shame too. Many people had high hopes for this game but after playing the game for myself, I find myself agreeing with everything this reviewer said.
He's telling the truth, the game is mediocre.
Not surprised. Don't get me wrong played Skyrim and loved it. However the thing to remember is what makes a good single player game doesn't necessarily make a good MMO.
The MMO Market is completely saturated with Traditional Fantasy style games so obviously when you make an MMO that is Fantasy you really gotta do a hell of alot to stand out from the crowd. If you don't perfectly polish every feature put deep consideration into what features you will have and don't have and how they work or how rewarding activities are. Well your going to just blend into the Woodwork like most MMO's.
Wildstar is going live in a few days as an active beta participant and former Wow player I actually suspect Wildstar will become something big. Maybe not a Wow Killer but a serious contender that has a good chance of lasting. And considering the only direct competitors in Sifi MMO's I can think of are SWTOR (A Flop.) And Eve Online (Starships so same Genre but not competing. Not really.)
Why do I think Wildstar is going to be something big? Well it's fun. That simple. All the classes feel different. Something that other MMO's get right partially or fail miserably. The game went with the Artistic approach instead of the Super Realism approach. (I know Cell Shading isn't liked by everyone but less intensive graphics without hurting visual appeal means less lag. Less intensive is always a good thing.)
They added in the most desired features people constantly beg for in almost every MMO community plus ones not seen elsewhere. Player housing. Not only is it fun, it offers a benefit and it's not so cookie cutter either like some MMO's are with it. Even customizable mounts. First time I ever heard of that feature being offered in any MMO. Sure some mounts will be more popular then others due to appearance but to customize them? Epic.
And well it has the typical most haves like dungeons and raids they came up with an interesting new feature. Warplots. Which technically is a cross between Player Housing and Team player vs player. Technically it is player customizable Battlegrounds something I never seen or heard of before in a MMO.
The only Wildstar video Joe did was on the starter areas. Joe didn't like the starter area. However Joe frigging loved the starter area of OSO. His final verdict when he really played it was "Average"
I'm a Fan of Angry Joe but I have a feeling it will be a complete 160 if he gives Wildstar a serious playing. Just a suggestion Joe try the Spellslinger, Medic, Engineer, Esper classes. They are by far the most original. Warrior and Stalker well fun classes for some people are the closest thing to common MMO classes you'll find.
Balls
then ill guess ill have to shoot bandits in the balls with arrows....lasercorn would be proud
You have to realize the review was from a month ago. The game is getting better, quests are being fixed, lag is disappearing, bots are being banned, etc. The game is on the right path, Zenimax is actually listening to the comunity.
MicrowavePasta In the head start of Wildstar. It's awesome no bugs! And everything is lag free!
The problem with the excuse Your giving for Elder Scrolls online is it's the same exact excuse people use when an MMO launches and it's not that good. "It will get better! Just wait."
Wildstar however is great already.

I never wanted multiplayer Skyrim... I like the single-playerness of it.... I DID want ESO... so you don't speak for me... *I* didn't vote for you...
wouldn't work. Skyrim is a single player game and not made for multiple protagonists
I say game creators should not do MMO games anymore they should just make a game single player and Multiplayer and if they want more money just keep creating DLC for the game to expand the game I sometimes like having the option to play a game without having to be online all the time, I used to like games that are single player that were long with a lot of stuff to do that is why elder scrolls V way better. I also noticed that MMO games get better 2 years after they have been created by then I don't feel like playing the game or I forget about it.
it was like when they released halo wars. halo fans didnt like it, we wanted fps. just like people who like strategy games wouldn't pick up halo wars. im not a big fan of mmo so why would i want eso. especially with all the payments required. I just wanted to play es with mates, online. the es series is a rare gem in todays gaming world due to many game producers focusing on multiplayer. ill use halo as my example again. im a freaking fanatic of both es an halo! halo's story and gameplay were both highly immersive an extensive. then halo 3 came out. you could beat the game in a few hours on the hardest difficulty. the story fell short too...real short. however the online was hands down the best time ive ever had playing live! seriouse! but doesnt mean they can short change us on the story and gameplay... end of the day its all money to them. online sells coz every tom dick and harry loves "cod" these days -.- good single player games r either dying or already dead. ive loved es since arena haha, oblivion being my personal favorite. they r a treasured group of games that you can actually spend more than a few hours on before beating everything and will always have replay value! remember super mario? that had more than a few hours of play! i wont be buying eso at all. even if it goes free to play, obviously it will have many hours of playtime. but it will just be a complete bore and i honestly cant see myself making more than one character on it anyway... hopefully they piss the idea of mmo off and make an original game for their next release. fingers crossed valenwood or blackmarsh ;)
Exactly, that's basically what people asked for as far as I know. They wanted Skyrim to become multiplayer (at least 2, max 2 if you like), but no one wanted and MMO.
The points you make are correct but the developers who made The Elder Scrolls game(Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Obvlivion and Skyrim) aren't the same people who made this, they just share the license.
I'm sure the new singleplayer elder scrolls game will come soon enough
Laura H.
i wanted a mmo and its kinda awesome to me and i played everything on the market before - next TES will come in 2-3 years for you. Fallout4 will be the next title.
Stav Licouris but halo wars kept to its goals. halo wars did what it was made to do, be a good RTS. and i do like halo wars, back in the day it was arguably the best RTS on xbox360
I think Joe needs to do a segment called "revisit'', he plays games that got updated in the years and makes a current impression vs the first impression, i think it'd be cool to see his reacts
As someone who has 2264 hours in eso, I agree with everything he said in the video, game was bad at launch but holy shit is it god tier now

I'm just going to pretend this didn't happen and wait for Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 4

random person: Wasn't there an online version of this?
Elder scrolls fans: ummm...we don't like to talk about that
Robert vsTheWorld Um what are you talking about? There isn't an online version of Elder Scrolls. Whoever thinks that could ever work is an idiot. That would be like trying to create a movie out of Mario.
Robert vsTheWorld Hah! An online elder scrolls game.... sounds like a stupid idea.
4mped Actually, rumor has it that TES 6 might have a multiplayer drop-in option.
On forums bethesda asked what the players wanted to see coop wise in fallout 4. I got real high hopes for it. Once they got a stable game engine with multi player code, it will be relatively easy to port it to future elder scrolls games. I don't care much how they do it. Even if I just become a basic muppet joining a friends with basic upgrades :D
Maybe they didn't bother including any thievery into the game because they knew they were already doing it selling you the game?
They've already stated that the Thieves Guild and the dark Brotherhood are coming ... and a justice system. Joe knows this, but it makes his army happier if he acts all bugged out about it so later he can claim they listened to him. lol
"Laughably pointless trips into Oblivion just to push a button in a room" That basically sums up the Oblivion gates in Oblivion itself too

Well, this trend caught on, now we live in the Subscription Era.
First 20 seconds in the video "You done fucked it up."
sums up the whole game
ESO in a nutshell: You done fucked it up!
Morrowind had the best open-world.
Oblivion had the best side-quests.
Skyrim had the best combat.
Online had the worst everything.
open world in Morro when it was progress locked all time???? Try going to Ashen Mountain at lvl 1-5 lol
I found way better side quests then Oblivion and i have over 1000 hours with it.
Skyrim combat? Kid please at least make a valuable argument...Played what, till lvl 5 if ever, and QQ ?
Mortuum Nekkro You call me a kid because of a subjective statement? These are my own opinion, not yours. If you can't respect other people's opinions, then you're obviously the child here. Also, the shift-key is your friend. And I did enjoy Skyrim's combat, its the only thing in the game that is superior to its predecessors. Kid, get a life.
Mortuum Nekkro I think you forgot that that was his opinion.
elder scroll games combat is bad. i don't see how left and right click in skyrim would be considered good combat.
Pureshadow You have your opinion, and I have mine. I enjoy the combat of Skyrim, despite the fact that it isn't super tactical and lacks some heft behind the attacks.
I tried it in the beginning and found it a colossal bore. I then returned to it last year out of desperation (since Bethesda has little interest in making ES6), and this time I found it to be.... still a colossal bore. MMO's just aren't my thing, and never will be. Give me single-player RPG's all day.
I play this game as a solo single player game lol
@@TamalPlays That’s how I tried it, both times, and just couldn’t get into it. I did try.
@@speedgriffon2504 ohh I play like I do main quest, explore, make money, kill enimes. I love the art style so sometimes I just explore and kill enimes.
Would love to see a part 2 update version when Gates to Oblivion drop in 2021!
I called this shit before it even came out. I called it.
I said to my friends, I was like: "Guys, you know me, I fucking love Elder Scrolls but Bethesda's ES series is far too successful for them taking their first crack at multiplayer on such a large scale to be done with their most beloved franchise. They should make a new IP and try with that. As talented as they are, they're gonna fuck up."
And here we are. I am not sure I have been so disappointed to be right.
i knew this game was gonna be bad the moment bethesda gave the liscense to zenimax........ hey bethesda, regrets much?
I was the same. I knew it was not even going to be considered a "good" games. Not to mention you have to pay $90 for the base game and $16 a month just to play it.
not to mention the damn imperial race is locked off and only available for another 20 bucks. why don't you just ban all races while your at it
Why is everyone so confused on this? This game was developed by Zenimax not Bethesda.
FangedLion Bethesda let them use their intellectual property so if anybody fucked up first, it was Bethesda.
5 out of 10? That's way too high.
I agree with him though. The pvp pushed it up a bit for me. But I don't think its worth the sub for the pvp alone.
Needing gold to get more space in your bank and inventory is so frustrating
Well,I have to say it has changed a lot since this video came out. I love the game. I hate that it kicks me off a crap load. What sucks about ESO is that you pretty much have to get ESO plus to be able to craft and what not. They say you don't have to pay, but try playing this game on top rank and see how hard it is to do anything without you inventory chocking up. Another thing is I feel like they are getting really greedy with some of the crown store stuff. I get they have to make some money, but damn if they have to charge you a arm and a leg for the stuff. I have to say the game has come a really long way. They have implemented a lot of really great things to make the game more enjoyable. I would really try it again Joe. I'm a big fan by the way. The two Joes are funny as hell and you tell the truth about these games. You call them on their bullshit and you go into detail what makes the game great.
It doesn't look fun, i'm never gonna buy this piece of junk. Thanks Joe for the outstanding review!
Here's an actual legit review with the same opinion as this dude.

Djoork How Joe's review not legit? Just because he expresses his emotions (mostly disappointment)? Please there's a difference in abstract reviews and reviews where a person gives their honest opinion on the facts presented.
Khalkara In my opinion, Angry Joe spent too less time on the game to actually base someone's opinion on. ShoddyCast does this in a neutral way, just as honest as Joe here.
Djoork I agree. ShoddyCast's one is the best on youtube.
Djoork Yea, I don't agree with what you just said. Joe does seeming put a lot of hours into a game before giving it his full honest opinion. Even his favorite game brands like war time or aliens was given low/below ratings because they were done terribly.
Angry Joe may be a shmuck for being pulled into the game, even if he gets paid, but he most certainly knows what he is talking about.
I tested it early to mid alpha, and much like The Old Republic, it was a better game then than it is now.
Lol, I just checked, and to anyone with an iota of hacking knowledge, hack away and make Elder scrolls online a slightly better game.

Is it true that originally SWTOR intended to not allow all players to create force sensitive characters?
octapusxft No. It was always intended for that, but it was supposed to be different. In the plans you were supposed to have a halfway point where you could change sides. Also the gameplay was supposed to more active turn-based like the KOTOR games, less waiting for recharging abilities like WoW.
The Elder Scrolls 76
Very special edition
I need to make a Corporate Commander cosplay
I wish he would do a review of the game now, its much better
+Modi AlMaani whats diffrent? I wanna get this tomorrow but im fukin confiused by the reviews
+Waka Flocka It's so much better. No subscription is the main reason to get it.
+AsassinProdigyX Well, is it like skyrim? Because i loved it, the atmosphare was amazing. If its like skyrim i will get it
Waka Flocka Well, It's not really like Skyrim other than it being in the same universe or world. It's an mmo at its core so there are a lot of mmo elements to it. It does have great atmosphere and you can go to Skyrim in the game though.
Waka Flocka I bought the game like 2 weeks back and so far I liked it, most of the people who bought did so because they like skyrim. It has the same feel to it but you have to remember its still an MMO. If you are watching reviews then dont watch angryjoes one (Altho I never doubt his reviews) but he did a review on ESO, now its ESO tamriel unlimited which is kind of a new game. (Much better)
Welp, the fans of elder scrolls and fallout asked for multiplayer over and over and over. I kept saying don't do it, it'll end badly. Welp, they gave you a form of multiplayer, and it's shit. I warned you.
We asked for co-op multi-player. Not this broken ass mmo bull shit.
they could have just made skyrim with borderlands mode
kurama kyuubi Or at least, Far Cry 3 level of multiplayer
Jester 5009 Its been almost a year now, the things have been fixed.
***** don't fucking lie dude... a shit ton of things have been added since this review!!! Action bar generic lol... go play WoW you fucking moron.
That’s definatley one thing that always made me say no to this game was: but our game for $60, then $15 a month to play it, then $40 for all dlc like bruh I can just play swtor for $15 a month and that’s it
This review still holds up. Still a ton of microtransactions and extra content that doesn't differentiate from older content. No heart or soul in this game. Feelsbadman
