And it causes roadblocks for people trying to change the criminal justice system into something that truly rehabilitates instead of spitting monsters back out onto the streets.

It's the people like you who are the ones who complain the most about the poor rehabilitation methods exercised by the prison system of America.
Then you turn around and say things like "Who should care if a felon is injured?".
Nobody makes a choice and never doubts or turns back on it.
Hopefully your choice to say something like this becomes one of those things when you're older and you've matured some.

If you've ever listen to Jordan Peterson, he tells young males that what is best it to become a absolute monster then learn to control it. To me, that's what has to be the goal in LE regardless of the gender.
I read a meme about the military that said, good people can sleep at night because there are those that are willing to do violence on their behalf.
LE falls into that category as well.
Bad guy picks the time, place and means. Good guys has to react. That's true in or out of LE, that's why everyone needs to be armed and trained to use said firearm along with some type of unarmed technique if possible.
But in LE, the LEO needs to be able to go from officer friendly to something that causes the bad guy to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat in milliseconds, then back again. And they need to be able to do that several times a day, several times a week over their entire time in LE.
Thankfully, that's not the case as a norm.
My FTO described LE as hours of boredom broken up by moments of shear terror.

But I agree with your response 100% and your attitude in my opinion is one that should be fostered in police work. I personally can't stand people in general, and I could not do your guys job, but being able to work with people you despise is kinda really necessary for a police officer, in my opinion. When an officer feels it's time to become judge jury and executioner, its time to hang that belt up, in my opinion. I can understand the desire for it, and yea, I can imagine plenty of scenarios in which I'd probably agree with it, but either our laws need to change to allow more vigilante justice or an officer needs to be able to control thier inner monster. Or any man, I also listen to J.P.

That was the funniest line ever
This actually takes place in Portage WI, although the theft was in Pardeeville. In this she passes my house, the post office I go to and it ends right near the dog park I go to. The La Crosse stereotype might not be accurate because Wisco in general is pretty messed up. Portage particularly has a huge meth problem and I wouldn't doubt that's what caused this.
I love how she acts so entitled and superior even to the officers, after literally stealing a car.

I would have lost my mind at the “ Yeah we had fun - but I didn’t hurt anyone” she endangered so many people and has the audacity to say that. Especially after she decided to drive on the sidewalk, she’s real lucky she didn’t hurt anyone.
I knew a guy who was super involved in my town growing up - owned the local body shop, sponsored youth sports teams, organized block parties, volunteered in the schools - was almost cut in half when a woman fleeing the police drove into him, pinning him between her car and a wall. He died on the scene. Her BAC was 0.16 3 hours after the crash.
People who do shit like this are nuts and belong behind bars

Dude I was born and raised wisconsin, we gotta be polite 😂 in all honesty though I forgot LaCrosse existed, I try and forget. They apparently hold the 3rd largest October fest for one thing, but alleged by a guy I met at a summer camp who lives there drug use is rampant and crazy people tend to end up there. Super sad, up north has some issues. I can confirm the same dude at the camp literally rolled up a random leaf with pine needles and sparked it up. Fucking nuts. And no he was not able to take another hit as its probably poisonous and hurt like a mf but my God you should've seen the cloud he blew 😂😂

I remember when I was 17 and me and another friend were racing through traffic like idiots when a cop saw us. We never saw the cop and were dipping through traffic like mad men, it took the cop 7 miles to catch us ( we never knew he was trying too). When he pulled us over finally he gave us a ear full about how hard he was trying to catch us and how he had to floor it and so on and my buddy with a straight face looked at him and said “ but you know you had fun though” and the cop just smirked and kinda laughed in agreement. He laughed, we laughed and then we both got wreck-less driving tickets. 😂🤦♂️

She was still trying to act like she didn't steal the car. She was trying to take "her" keys. Which would sorta make sense if you actually owned the vehicle and were going to jail, since you can then know your keys are in a locker at the jail with all your other stuff rather than on the wall at the impound lot/in an evidence locker. Letting impound lots also have access to your keys is how you find out that one of the workers took it for a joyride while waiting for you to come pick it up.
@@ShaggyRogers1 that would make sense, but her pushing the keys forwards into the ignition and not putting them on her person speaks otherwise. If she could have gotten "her" car going again, I bet she would have taken off. She was already willing and attempting to push one squad car out of the way in the escape already.

this is a good one, watched it the other day, that lady coming out of the car telling the cops to "calm down" is just perfect, steals a car, drives in a way that puts anyone within 5 miles at risk of a wheel snapping off and flying into their living room window and her reaction to the cops busting her is to tell them to calm down, you can't fucking make this shit up
