    I recently acquired a SpyPoint Flex-36 and I love it. The only issue I have is on occasion the pictures will not download to the App and what I have learned to do is sign out, then sign back in and voila, your pictures instantly appear! This has only happened twice in a month so it's not that big of a deal.
    Good luck getting permission to hunt that property. It looks very promising.
    Thanks for this video, very informative.

    I bought the G36 SPYPOINT double pack at Sail. I’ve had them in the bush for a month. These are awesome, easy to use and supper quality pictures. I see bad comments on here and I’m amazed they are having these issues. Follow their instructions and they work. Operator error is not the camera. Happy hunting everyone!

      I have had the regular Flex cameras for 2 years. After the season was over I returned to the woods to remove all 4. 2 of them had water inside. Spypoint sent me replacements. That made me happy! This past season I had 2 of the original 2 cameras with water in them. Again Spypoint replaced them with 2 new Flex G36. Again I’m a happy camper. Now I’m putting my 2 regular Flex cameras and my 2 new Flex G36 in the woods for hunting. Setting them up, for some unknown reason the regular Flex’s would not communicate with the server. Spypoint is sending me 2 more Flex G36 cameras. All I can say is Spypoint has taken care of me and I’ll stay with them. Good quality pictures and great service!

    Ive never used a trail cam before. If I start with the base 100 free pictures and I go over that. Can I still go to the camera remove the sd card and view the photos that are over the 100 threshold? Or am I only able to view the photos on the app?

    I’m a little confused as to the cellular feature being able to select a provider to upload your photos. Don’t you have to use the provider you are using for your cell phone? If not, who is paying for that service chooses if not the owner of the camera?

    • @BuckFeverOutdoors
      @BuckFeverOutdoors  10 месяцев назад

      With these cameras, it doesn’t matter what cellular provider you have. You pay SpyPoint $10 a month and that’s all there is to it! This camera will find the strongest cellular signal in the area and use that to send the pictures to you. Think of it like this - if you have T-Mobile, you can still text or call someone who uses Verizon. These cameras work the same way!

    Couple questions I can't get answers to, are how to not take tons of useless pictures.
    If you start off with the 100 free, does every time a leaf blows, take a picture and use up your allotment real quick?
    I don't want to buy a package until I'm sure I like the camera.
    If there is continuous movement, does it just keep taking pictures non stop?
    I could you leave the camera out weeks or months without dead batteries?
    Thanks, hope you can answer these

    • @BuckFeverOutdoors
      @BuckFeverOutdoors  Год назад

      Thanks for reaching out! This camera does have a sensitivity setting so you can chose whether you want the sensitivity to be high, medium, or low. If you set it to low, you will get very few pictures of random leaves blowing, but you might miss a deer every now and then. We like to set our cameras to medium. We don't get too many pictures of random leaves blowing and we don't miss too many deer - it is a great balance. Other tips would be to avoid setting the camera up on a field edge as the crops blowing in the wind will cause the camera to take a lot of pictures. Always make sure to trim up the area around the camera so there are no branches blowing in front of it or tall grasses swaying in the breeze. If you use decent batteries and have decent cell service, the batteries should last at least a month. Some of ours go several months without needing to be changed. Hope this answers your questions!

    Just bought 2 Flex E-36 cameras and I'm sending them back. They're not picking up the action and the app is absolutely terrible. 3 deer walked past the camera and fed beside the camera and I get just 3 pics to my phone!! After paying €15 a month I still have to pay for each video. My cheap €60 cameras have done a much better job. Very disappointed.

    • @BuckFeverOutdoors
      @BuckFeverOutdoors  9 месяцев назад

      I’m curious what your settings were for those cameras. There is a specific setting in there called ‘motion delay.’ You can have it set for ‘instant,’ or 10 second delay, 20 second delay, 30 second delay, etc. If you had it set for a longer delay then it would make a lot of sense that it only took 3 pictures with deer in front of it for a longer amount of time. Yes, you do have to pay a little extra for videos, but that’s the price you pay for a reliable cell camera sending high quality videos. Either way, as long as you have a camera that works for you, that’s all that matters! Happy hunting!

    • @HuFilms
      @HuFilms 9 месяцев назад

      Thanks man, I have it set on instant. But this is the thing, there are no settings really. Plus you can't combine video with stills and this is a great thing to have. I'm actually shocked at how little action these are picking up. I've agreed to remove them and bring them back to the supplier. Battery indicator is all over the place. Telling me I'm on 25% and the cams were only installed 3 days ago. It's a pity as they seem to be well made. I really wanted these to work. Heavily dissapointed.@@BuckFeverOutdoors

    I have 6 Flex cameras. I use them for security. I have had no issues with the cameras and have been using them for a year. One big pro for me was my old spypoint cameras would barley get a signal, with the Flex I have no problem with connectivity. One con is they are so sensitive, shadows cause my cameras to go off if its very bright out with snow on the ground. I am also a member so my only fee is 90.00 and my cameras never take more than 100-200 pic s each so it costs me nothing except my member ship fee...And another pro is the HD pics are a plus as I can now read license plate numbers on vehicles at my gate where I couldn't before...Thanks for the video.

    • @jedidiah5131
      @jedidiah5131 10 месяцев назад

      @@mikelobue1431 Yes I get my pics within 1-2 minutes...on a bad day it may take up to 8 minutes on one of my cameras.....If you go to the spypoint site/help section and put in your type of camera, a trouble shooting format will pop up. Maybe take your phone with you and check how many bars you get on your phone/see if it coincides with the bars on your camera. Make sure you have also entered the correct battery type. If you have an external antenna you may also want to try that out to see if your pics get sent sooner...Sometimes it could be as simple as moving your camera to another spot maybe 5 feet away. Try another SD card and do the "long format" and format it again in your camera. Also make sure you update the spypoint app every few months.

    Any review on the flash/sound options on the flex. I like spypoint, but I’ve noticed that the noisy click and bright flash models always see fewer bucks that the “dark” model. I’ve actually seen mature bucks avoid the noisy/flash models from another cam angle.

      We haven’t noticed any sound or flash with the Flex… I suppose that doesn’t necessarily mean that deer don’t detect anything on them. Definitely something to consider but I wouldn’t say we’ve had any problems so far!

    I just ordered a Flex. What impressed me about them is the range. I currently have a Moultrie EDGE. the range on my camera is horrible. Though it does have a great feature where I can set it to take a test picture every day just to make sure it still works. It also has the capability to use different carriers and the EDGE has a built-in SD card so you do not have to purchase one. All those good things about it and I still decided to order the FLEX because I can not trust the EDGE. I drive up to that camera head-on with my ATV and most times it does not take a picture and if it does I am about 30-40 feet away before it does. That camera is at my hunting camp nearly 65 miles away from my home. Last year I didn't get any photos during hunting season so I didn't hunt the area. When I finally went to check on it there were tracks in the plot, but the camera just never took any pictures. I can't rely on that.

    I just got one of these and am not getting pics in real time. I'm still figuring it out and it looks like I have to set the transmition speed to instant in order to get real time pics. Then they say outside power source is recommended for this setting. So..........I guess I'm gonna try that since I'm using this for security it's nice to know when it's happening instead of hours later I get a bunch of pictures after the fact.

      @jedidiah5131 10 месяцев назад

      I use instant settings on my camera....The batteries/Lithium/expensive, last up to 4-6months if my cameras only take a few pics a day. You may want to purchase the Winghome solar panel, I have one for one of my cameras, its been over a year and its still read 75% even after 5 days of no sun.....I also have the spypoint solar panel but haven't used it yet as my other cameras are not in the sun....but you can use it as a battery as its a 15,000 mili amp hr, which should last forever even with no sunlight, but again its pricey but will definitely save you money in the long run....

    I have a Spypoint flex and a Moultrie edge. The pic and video is a wee bit better on the spy point and it has the gps , but overall I don't care for the Spypoint, it has sim cards the Moultrie doesn't, the front open mechanism is much better on the Moultrie. You can't attach a stick or tri-pod to the the bottom of the Spypoint anymore, because the way the door is part of the bottom where as the Moultrie hinges out not down, but the biggest problem for me is battery life. The Moultrie will last a whole year on 8 Rayovac or Duracell 2a batteries, but has the capacity for 16 batteries. The Spypoint I have needs Lithium batteries and it eats them like candy. Night vision is so similar I can't say one is better that the other. For me the Moultrie has been much better. Just my 2 cents.
