  • yes another amazing product review! this time it is my impression of the new features of the spypoint flex trail camera and my honest review as should we spend are heard earned money. On the new spypoint flex. I gave the spy point flex a more than fair evaluation. I have used this trail camera though an entire deer season as well as into my current turkey season. And its sad to say but this may be the last spypoint camera that I will purchase. in my opinion the are better more reliable trail cameras on the market. the price point is relatively the same across the board. so I hope you enoy my review of the spypoint flex trail cam after one year of using this camera#spypoint #spypointflex

The do not remove sticker is over the sim cards, not the SD card. There's no need to remove the Sim cards

No worries. I was confused about it originally, too, until I realized there were two spaces under the sticker.

Excellent review. I have two flex cameras. One failed after just one season. The other is still going but a bit of a pain to keep up with. Customer support is, in my opinion, non-existent; but then I do not participate in Facebook, so I am limiting myself from that avenue of assistance.
Based upon your comments I will try a Moultrie Edge (or whatever their latest Cell model is). Thanks again for taking the time to do these reviews. Very Helpful.

Yes, great I think Moultrie across-the-board is great I just like the edge the best in my opinion no need to get the edge pro. Unless you want all the bells and whistles.

You made some very valid criticisms of this camera as i have one of these as well. Tge antenna not staying in place like it should... i had the same problem and the bottom being difficult to open i have that issue as well. However i havent experienced any of the other issues youve had. I did go to bass pro and buy a 15ft extended antenna specifically made for the spypoint cameras, cuz i knew the area i hunt has pretty poor cell coverage. Maybe that could help? Dont know just thought I'd comment cuz the flex i have runs perfectly. Anyway cool video and have a good one bud

We have a small og spypoint that watches our cottage. We put energizer lithium batteries in it. It gives us a pic every day plus any critters in the yard. For $80 and $5 a month ($0 plan available) it’s been ok at least. Battery lasts almost all year. We did have 2 weeks with no pic, thought it was broken then it works fine. 3 years still going.

I also have a tactacam gen 2. I like it but the pic quality isn’t great and I get deer butts too often. Batteries last and it’s reliable but could be better. Our favorite is stealth cam reactor and we are waiting for the next gen stealth cams soon. Pic on demand

You missed the worst part of the flex…The blue light of death!!!! If you have a large # of pics that upload if freezes and kills the batteries instantly! Over 130 pics does it

Steer clear of these unless you can go solar power. Batteries only last about a month and for lithium its about $25 for new batteries.

After 3 days of using these and subscribing to their service for €15 for a month, I gotta say, I'm terribly disappointed. Gonna send them back and just use my cheap €60 cameras which, if I'm honest, are actually much better.

Mine eats batteries also. Drops to 69% after 6 days. 1st time i had it out it quit working when it went down to 61%. Working but something wrong with power usage. 250 pics a month is not enough to cover wind and sun and critter pics. Maybe bean counters have taken over for more profit here.

That door is not that hard to open!! I have the flex-s and yes the video will take 3 pics. So if you have the basic plan then maybe do not set it to video. But I used spypoint last season as well. The pic quality on that specific cam model isn’t the greatest in comparison to stelthcam. But still this is not that bad of a cam as you set it out to be. The firmware is very easy to update. I have not had the issues you have I guess. I think it’s great. I also run stealthcam and cuddeback/link. But dude the door. C’mon man. Not that hard to open. It’s nice to know it’s secure at minimum. You should re-title this video to worst camera ever.
