Ramcat Hemoshock First Impression !
Просмотров 12714 дней назад
yup another broadhead review but this one is a little different today I'm gonna give you my first impression this roadhead was sent to me by a subscriber to review but upon initial assessment i may not use it on a deer as a test the ramcat hemoshock dp broadhead does not have a desirable design in my opinion, I am not confident it will open, but i will test it another time on a different medium...

I'm glad to see this review and the footage of the blood trails. I just bought a Tenpoint Viper s415 and these broadheads
@@timmiller745 great. You ll be slaying animals this season
@peggoty75 I said I'd never spend that kind of money on a crossbow, but I've got a couple of bruisers that have been skirting me for the last 2 seasons. I've found their route and am pretty sure they'd disappear again once gun season opens. I'm thinking early is the best bet, and that's bow season so I upgraded just for them. Venison is the most expensive free meat there is 😂
@@timmiller745 sounds great hunting with a crossbow will drastically extend your range. I hope you get those bucks
What a meat cutter for sure. Can’t imagine the hole it leaves. I’ve never ever used any mechanical head in all my many years. I consider every arrow and broad head as a 100% expendable item. My mindset on any arrow setup is “ I don’t care if it gets lost or destroyed “ while I’m taking game. I think too many worry about recovering an arrow but will go out and shoot $2-300 of ammo at the range. 👍👍
@@timbow50 well said i will have to agree with you
Used my Night Buddy a hand full of times. Told all my Buddys they need one. Unfortunately my Night Buddy has stopped working after two years on my tool box. The green light won't turn off and none of the functions work. I contacted Night Buddy but they say its a one year warranty and it dosen't matter that my night buddy was used only a couple of times. No way I'm buying another Night Buddy.
@@Dabber422 sorry to hear that but maybe you don’t have a real night buddy. They dont offer a green light only red
I’m curious what you think of the st croix seage
@@larrysharp4333 i have one i love it will be done a review at the end of my season
For surf fishing like I do I have medium heavy and heavy action . That’s too light I cast 3-4 ounce like nothing and I can pull anything out of the water with my tsunamis
@@JimKat5646 great i love to hear the feedback
I catch tons of Largemouth here in Central Minnesota and ill keep a few every every once in a while. Cold water Largemouth are tasty!!
@@alluhatorrrez3724 yes i heard better from cold water or from the ice
The idea is to get your money people! Things like this and the FACT that any mechanical can even possibly fail is why in over 50+ years of killing animals with an arrow I have 100% used a fixed blade broad head. Why even take the chance? All the $, all the time, all the effort that it takes to just be out in the woods and you want to GAMBLE on a toy? Good Luck!
@@timbow50 in this circumstance, I would have to agree with you
Thanks for sharing. I have a few Moultrie cameras, and I haven’t needed to contact customer service so far. Good to know that they take care of you if needed
@@Bubakarrr ya was very durprised
I agree with what you are saying. But last year I double lunged and nice buck and I knew I did but it was a very level shot through the body. He only went about 100 yards but I only had small drops of blood on the ground. I let him go for 2 1/2 hours. He was dead within a minute or two but I was by myself and didn’t want to take the chance of jumping him
@@user-ux7wh1yd5e yes!! Even the best shots dont always produce the best bloodtrails. Glad you found the deer. I would’ve given the time for the deer to pass as well.
10 Feet ?
@@hansserreyes6926 yup
@@peggoty75 How much does it weigh?
@@hansserreyes6926 well i don’t know the exact specs but if had a few rods after this one i would consider it a mid weight rod. Not light not heavy
Sorriest headlamp I've ever tried-battery doesn't last long, main strip light quit working, and band keeps loosening-waste of money for me or I got a dud
@@twohandsworking896 yes you did mines still going strong. Battery last long time
First off thank you for taking the time out to share information on different broadheads. I actually have a Wicked ridge crossbow, and didn't know they had a Broadhead. So, thanks again. I have been shooting the DK 4. Before that, it was all fixed blades out of my crossbow. I will definitely have to give these a test run this year. I'm new to the mechanical blades.
@@adublbeatz8656 I love the DK 4 it’s a very effective, but since I have the channel, I like to test them see what else is out there you’re always gonna try to find something better you know
@peggoty75 exactly! Always trying to find something better, fixed or mechanical. I just ordered these Wicked Ridge Broadheads. So , I'm excited.
@@adublbeatz8656 great i love them very durable
Came here from another one of your videos on the Tenpoint mechanicals. Thanks for the info!
@@gierhedd75 sure thing hope it helps
I will see how my experience goes with these guys. I ordered some pants I actually liked from them 30 minutes ago and accidentally bought the membership along with the pants.
Also I canceled the membership after that.
@@Bubble23428 did you get your money returned?
I just grabbed the tsunami airwave elite 11' and a saltx 4000 reel for $200 from some guy on Craig’s List. Think I got a good deal? What caught my attention was how light the rod is, the heavier ones knock me out
@@lrakwons9799 thats a steal the reel alone is $300 in great condition. Its a great combo. Hopefully the 11’ gives you the backbone you need i have zero doubts on the reel
Go with the heavy or xh action then
@@jimlacek6847 I do not I like a medium rod with moderate action
Can a person attach his sticks to the pack maybe with nite eyes twist ties?
@@aeestep77 yes i think thats very doable there a loop on the side i put a small tripod chair through and sometimes i bungee a summit tree seat for walks in
1. they redesigned it to be easier to replace the pin and more functional and 2. you cannot crank down the set screw or you get the results you are showing.
@@Raevenswood yes. I saw another bid were they addressed the issue
Your antenna flops around too. Had to tape mine up
Ya its awful.
@@peggoty75fogot to ad i gave away 4 cameras this year and the flex had a issue eatin 30 bucks lithium batteries in a week. They had me set it against the wall for 24 hrs. Now its working😳🤪
I have heard of this but never tried it. Thanks for the tip.
@@paulpelmore1045 anytime. I does work. I still use it every-season
Have you tested Amazon's 'keaup Lighted Nocks"? I'd love to read your feedback! Just ordered some from Amazon and couldn't find any reviews on them.
Your videos are great !!! Keep up the good work
@@davidval67 thank you I appreciate that
Rod looks great! But like you said the handle does look a little thin. Similar to the St Croix Seage 9’, awesome rod but felt so thin, almost nothing to grab onto
I just bought a10.6 st croix siege review coming soon. I like the tfo much. More
@@peggoty75 I have the Mojo Surf 8 and 10’. Also have the Seage 8 & 10’6” I want a 9’ the the Seage handle I feel is too thin. Hence looking at other brands for 9’
@@Unplugged704 the seige. Handle is great. But still love the tfo overall
Pretty cool light!
Ya i like it thanks for watching
Nice fish
Thanks
I just found my cat in a face off with a deer… neighbor put out a piece of watermelon and my cat got between it and it’s snack 😂 I didn’t see the deer until it started screaming at us. It was charging us too. Not sure if it would have done anything really. Thanks for this video, I was curious as to why it was making that particular noise.
They do this to let you know that they know that you’re not there as well as a warning to the other deer. Thanks for the story. I enjoyed it.
For the amount they cost do they last awhile . After season.
To be honest i use them till there gone sometimes two seasons still effective unsure if there is an exp date
About time those guys kicked things a notch.
Thanks for watching
have you use them to practice with, if so how? I've read guys glue the blades to keep from opening.
When I buy broadheads, I dedicate one to practice
They fly like a field tip
@@timmiller745 yes they do
Tnx
Anytime
Carful not to ground urself on those power lines!
No power lines near me
I bought a remote antenna for my Spy Point Flex. It made a dramatic difference in the signal coverage. Better coverage than my Edge. I still like my Edge better. I wont buy another Spy Point unless they make significant improvements. I have had several issues with the battery trays on my Flex as well.
Interesting but I’m with you I won’t buy another spy point unless they make some changes. Thanks for the feedback.
70/30 is not about carbon or fiber
Thanks
Beautiful! There’s nothing quite like it 😌
Yes it never gets old
Not necessarily. It is umcommon but not unheard of for a female deer to have a genetic defect that causes them to grow antlers. This is why game laws use the terms antlered and antlerless instead of buck and doe. The natural assumption is that if it has horns its legal. ... or it could be a young buck with hormones affecting him for the first time, seeing as they are in velvet and shouldnt be in the rut. But please dont anyone say they are gay. That is a human thing,
Interesting
Just wondering do u need a data plan for each camera u use?
For Moultrie yes spypoint has 100 pix free. After that, you have to buy into a plan.
How have they held up against the plasticizers of the plastics you have in the boxes? I have some non edge boxes that warp from soft plastics. Thanks!
Held amazingly with soft plastic. Everything i own, senkos, frogs, paddles everything just as hood as the day i bought them
How long did it last before the LED's started braking and battery frailer ? I have 4 that look just like this but near all non beam headlamps on amazon look like this.
Had for two yrs no sign of led wear and tear. Battery still holding strong this is thr original night buddy
I have one 1-year-old black screen. These things are garbage. Do not recommend at all
I agree they’re not amazingly made but mines a couple years and still going strong
I read the title as "Strippers at sunset"...
Same differece😂🤷🏻♂️
Love this... Impressive! Did you have to buy a conversion kit to add the balloon tires?
I did not I just kind of worked with what I had. I used different diameter axles each side of tires.
This review is just what I needed to convince myself to buy this headlamp!! Thank you!!
That makes me happy. Just pulled mine out again to start my striper season
I hooked mine up to a 12v. You could also use a solar panel
Both good options but if you’re gonna spend that much more money, you might as well just buy a regular spy point camera
Very helpful, Thank you!!
Great glad it helped.
I own several spypoint products including the flex I've had zero issues with it and I never touch it , it has always worked perfectly and I don't touch it I don't know maybe your playing with it too much , I love them love the plans and I'll continue to buy them, moultrie cameras on the other hand I've had many and had problems with every single one I've owned, they absolutely are horrendous on battery life.
Bout to pair a 10'6 Medium Heavy to a pen spinfisher VI bailess.. ill hit you up after i battle a few bull drums and big uglies..
Cant wait to hear, I’m sure thats a great set up. 10.6 is a perfect length in the surf imo. Tight lines
Ну и что дальше?
Thanks fir whatching
Using the Penn Battalion 12' H with a Penn Fathom 2 25NSD reel with 40# braid. I can absolutely launch a 6 oz sinker! Good video.
I have that same set up on my conventional you can literally cast it a country mile. Careful of the fingers it takes off like a lightning bolt 😂😂
2:00 -- is it possible to deploy it quietly ?
With practice yes, but its still kinda clunky
