Review Of Top Heated Socks - Are They Worth It?
yes another product review . this time its heated socks. without a brand name i gather they are a generic amazon brand that changes the name. overall these heated sock work great and i love them. but the will not last forever. mine last me about three years. then i buy a new pair. I would recommend these heated socks for hunting and other cold weather activities. Hope you enjoyed my review on the heated socks and it helps you make a better purchase in the future in my opinion they are definitely worth it#heatedclothing #heatedsocks

Thanks for the review. How many times a year do you probably wear them- when you say they last 2-4 years....?
@@jimaugenti704 well my feet and hands are very sensitive to cold so… during hunting 10-20 times and every time i go metal detaching from dec-feb. maybe another 20 times
Great review and i always like to see anything from your channel.
@@Glaciershark great to hear thanks
How are they if your feet sweat, should you use a sock liner under these ?
Sometimes I will use a sock liner, but for the most part if I have a long walk and a hunting situation, I’ll just try to move slow sometimes I’ll even turn the socks on when I get to my spot and that kind of dries up the sweating issue
How much do they cost?
@@bham311 I’m such a dope. I left out the price anyway usually range between 30 and $35.

Nice blinds could be little long and a little wider Love it easy to set up and take down I keep a back pack and shoot a crossbow my crossbow sticks out of the blind It's good for setting between couple of trees chair is comfortable and drink holder nice no black out mesh and where you can the orange tarp for it
Yes i got the double one two easier to make shot to week side
Is it really 230 degrees? Looks like much less.
@@AndersJansson-l6b ya pretty close kinda makes like a big circle similar to a big flashlight
@@peggoty75 A big flashlight never makes even 180 degrees, so I'm not sure I follow what you mean. Given what the headlamp looks like, it i hard to imagine that it would spread more than let's say 120 degrees.

@@SUMMITDUDE indeed
One thing I noticed about the 5:12 mark in the vid…there is a stop lug on the base of the Oracle X, that lug needs to be forward until it hits the back edge of the slot in the picatinny rail, not tightened down in the middle area of a picatinny slot. The same principle applies to scopes on break barrel air guns, to counteract the reverse recoil and scope creep.
@@usmc6157 hmmmm ill check it thanks
The crank on the Ravin is cammed... so there is no way the crank handle broke loose on you unless you were also holding the release button while cranking, which in itself is stupid. I have literally owned their entire lineup

Ladder stands. Every one that I bought was barely good enough. Most had too small foot platform area which is restricting and dangerous. I have modified all 7 by adding larger foot areas and changing the angle of the ladder a few degrees because they were built basically straight up climb. Very sketchy climb in the dark with backpack and bow etc. Most are 15-16 feet to the footing plate and a couple are 20’. About half of them are the double wide for two which is great for one but not two.
@@timbow50 well for hang ons sportsmans guide sells a xL platform and field and stream and big game sell 1.5 ladder both big platforms hope that helps
I tried them out of my crossbow on a a few deer. They only made about a three-quarter inch entry and exit they didn’t open up very wide. I was pretty disappointed. I hope they were gonna work like the old Rocky mountain gator 100s from the 90s which opened up super wide.
@@tripplebeards3427 ya initially they did well for me but I found that if it wasn’t a perfect broadside shot I got similar results still recovered the deer so that’s OK but I’ve moved onto a new broadhead. That’s my go to outside of my testing. It’s called the Hyde evolution outdoors. I originally did a review on it, but now I use it all the time.
@@peggoty75 I just googled it. That’s a front deploy and a cut on contact front two negatives on my book. I use several bladed broadheads and they end up breaking and bending they’re just not durable. I’ve also use front deploy in the past and I’ve had them in and also deflect. The old Rocky Mountain style gator was my favorite like the one you posted about here. It’s just these don’t open up like they did unfortunately. I’ve had pretty good luck with the rage no collar lately. I’ll stick with those until I have a bad Experience. The red collar versions never open for me, but the no collar versions so far knock on wood have been doing great.
@ look into them a little bit more. They’re quite different if you buy the 125 grain it’s all stainless construction. It was designed to bow hunt elk. Obviously, you make your own decisions, but I encourage you to look into it a little bit more normally a front deploying out of my crossbow is not a good idea, but the blades hold just a little differently. It’s quite spectacular.
@@peggoty75 I won’t shoot the front deploy Broadhead small hole going in and if it doesn’t come out, there’s no blood to follow too many times happen to me having them open and flying into flat and also deflected extreme angle shots. I’ll never use a front deploying head and neither will any of my buddies after all had similar experiences.
my question is why i dont get picture until 8 hrs later i have awesome cell service 90%
@@mikehosmer5179 not sure where your located but Spypoint is based out of Canada sometimes the cams need to connect with their towers.
