Thanks for this review! Great content as always! I always start getting ready for the season a few months out and I am finally going to go Cellular on my trail cameras this season. I am thinking I need a few and these would work perfect. Edit: I happen to stop by my local Walmart today and was chatting with the sporting goods person and he said they had some left over hunting items and asked if i wanted to see the trail cameras. I said "sure, let me see them". He brought out 3 Spypoint Flex M cameras! He said I could have them for $69 each. I snapped them up and got home and set them up in minutes! I will be out this coming weekend setting up my hunting spot close to home. Thanks again for this review Duane!

How do u get connected to the cellular network. Do u have to call Verizon or att etc or is it through spypoint. How much does it cost a month. How many different plans do they have. HOW DOES IT WORK??¿
@@Lovinflyindrones2022 It connects automatically to the network which has coverage in your area. If there is coverage! Free plan gives you 100 photos / month 7$ i think / 250 photos 10$ / 1000 photos 15$ / unlimited
Question You mentioned the plug for a solar option, will any solar panel do or does it have to be the expensive Spypoint solar option? Can you add a review for the solar option?
Hey thanks for watching! If you are getting a solar panel, it really needs to be a decent quality one that has a built-in lithium battery. You’d charge the battery completely and then set the panel out with your camera. I’ve had a lot of great results doing this and haven’t needed batteries throughout an entire hunting season. You can get any solar panel as long as it fits the port in your trail cam.
Great question! There pros to both cameras obviously. This one give you 100 free pics every month. The Reveal 3.0 gives you 30 second video clips (if you’re into video from your trail cams). The Flex M is way cheaper as well.
So if you only want to see what's on the SD card using your phone....is that considered downloading and uses up the 100 free photos or videos? Thanks. Also I assume it will alert you when motion/photo or video is taken...correct?
Hey thanks for watching! Yes, it will transmit any photos taken to the app on your phone. Spypoint gives you 100 photo transmissions each month. It’s less for videos (I don’t know the specific amount). You can, of course, buy a plan for more photos and videos.
You should do a comparison with the m and g36 i noticed you have both and there is not 1 video on here comparing the both. In your opinion is the g36 that much better than the m? I have 6 link micros. Want to upgrade them soon and seen the m. But id like to see them side by side.
@mountainbuck I hear you about time. With family work and hunting there isn't much of that left haha. So do you like the g36 alot better than the m or not a huge difference?
Hey thanks for watching. I don’t typically put prices in my videos as that stuff changes all the time. Here’s some info on their plans www.spypoint.com/en/support/plans-and-membership
If I were to use this in a spot that doesn't have service, would I still be able to get the photos transferred to my phone that month? I'm on the edge of getting this trail cam for a couple of my hunting spots but they're about 2 hrs away from where I live so I thought that these would save me more time from having to go out every 2 weeks. Thank you.
Hey thanks for watching! You will definitely need cell phone service to get photos and videos sent to your phone. You may be able to find a cell signal booster antennae, but you need to have AT&T or Verizon available in the area where you mount the camera.
What happens if the highest cell signal is different from my provider? Is there a feature in the camera which tells you which cell signal provider is being used and an option to use the highest signal?
Hey thanks for watching! This doesn’t connect to your personal cell phone provider. You will create an account with SpyPoint and use their service and subscribe to a plan with SpyPoint. That service will select whichever cell phone signal is best in your area.
Hey thanks for watching! You will buy a plan right from Spypoint (not your current cell phone provider). The M is a budget level camera with 28 megapixels and 720p video, while the G-36 has 36 megapixels, 1080p video with slightly faster trigger and a bit longer detection range. Thanks for waching👍🏻
@@mountainbuck Great. Thanks. Loving my LM-2. After going through AA batteries like water I bought the LIT-10 battery pack. Lasts 1000 times longer than AA's.
Absolutely man. I’m a really big fan of solar panels. I’ve had cameras out for an entire season without needing batteries at all. Check them out sometime 👍🏻
Just bought a 2 pack of these from Cabela's and did not realize they required an SD card. Something to consider when comparing prices, as SD cards are not cheap. Really disappointed because now I've gotta either return them or invest in micro SD cards. I've previously used Moultrie cameras and they did not required a card.
Hey thanks for watching! Yeah the Moultrie mobile cameras are cloud-based only. The price of SD cards has come down a decent amount. Check out this 2-pack of Amazon Basic for just $12 www.amazon.com/dp/B08TJTB8XS/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_TF7BY4K3DGJYC376SV9A?linkCode=ml2&tag=duanewallace-20
These cameras are total junk. I’ve had multiple ones and they’ve all crapped out really quick. Also they chew through batteries like nothing. And every time there’s a firmware update your camera will quit and you’ll have to go retrieve it and manually update it. Hate these cameras
Awesome job on the review buddy. We enjoyed it as always
Thanks so much Trophy Hunter!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome detailed review, thanks for taking the time to do it.
Hey thanks so much! I appreciate the support! I put a lot into these videos and appreciate the positivity. Best of luck this season. 🦌👍🏻

Hey that’s awesome! Great price for this camera and you can’t beat the 100 free photo transmissions a month. Thanks for the update! 👍🏻
Hey I just bought that same camera I watched this video and it helped a lot thanks.❤
Thanks so much!!! Best of luck this season! 🦌👍🏻
Great review. Solid job. Love to see why SPYPOINT over a Cudde Back plan.
Hey thanks so much! I’ve really been meaning to check out Cuddeback… one of these days haha. Best of luck this season! 🦌👍🏻
Thanks, it made my decision to buy this easy. 🙏
Thanks for watching and best of luck 🦌👍🏻
The cameras are pretty cheap to buy. But they don't tell you you have to buy A prescription to use most of the functions it has. Pure camera.
Hey thanks for watching. You do get 100 free photo transmissions a month. Thats pretty cool of Spypoint in my opinion. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻

Good price on these. Would you choose these over tactacam 2.0 ? Or the 3.0

Amazing video, it cost me around 250$ for 2 cameras all set up, including 1000 photos for each camera. (Cams, batteries,sd card, subscription)
Hey thanks so much! I really appreciate it and thanks for sharing your experience. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻

Thankyou for your review. Curious regarding any light emitted for night photos. Is is only the IR that can be seen?
Hey thanks for watching! Yep. It’s only those two IR lights that are visible at night. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻

How long do batteries last. Disposable and lithium.
These cameras have terrible battery life and disconnect and stop working frequently. They’re cheap for a reason. Because they’re not good cameras.
What’s the cost for a plan for this camera?
www.spypoint.com/en/spypoint-experience/plans
Hey. Will the camera send pictures to my phone without an SD card. Or do I need one thanks
I believe you will need an SD card for image/video storage. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
If there is no cell service does the camera still work like a normal trail cam?
Hey thanks for watching. Yes, without cell service or a subscription plan, you can pull the SD card to get images like a regular trail cam.
What happens if the highest cell signal is different from my provider? Is there a feature in the camera which tells you which cell signal provider is being used and an option to use the highest signal?

Is this low glow?
It isn’t low glow. Take a look toward the end of this video… I show the infrared lights this camera gives off at night.
Do i have to use there sd card?
Hey thanks for watching. You don’t have to use their brand of SD card. I usually go with the SanDisk Extreme Pro👍🏻
Hey, when you talk about cellular connection , do you need to pay for a connection? Like adding a phone line?

There’s are trash the photo delay is bad and u get your pics 3 days later
Thanks for watching. I haven’t had an issue receiving photos/videos according to my transmission schedule.

I am ready to throw mine away
Budget friendly is right. My old Wildgame cameras took better pictures than these.
