i really love this song. Jungkook said he produced this song and wrote it too as a gift to us, he said this song is meant to comfort us. ‘Magic Shop’ is like a fictional place where armys can go and rest and take a break from reality when things get too hard. he said when we go to the magic shop, the seven members will be there waiting for us and will comfort us. i went to their concert and Magic Shop was definitely one of the most memorable.
Honestly same, literally in tears when they performed this towards the end.
This made me cry.
after the concert I went to, on the way outside, one ARMY sang the "so show me" super loud and everyone sang "I'll show you" back and it was just so. beautiful.

Kiki Dee ??? Joey is like my little brother! We talk about the songs & which he should react to! When I brought up Magic Shop I told him all about the song! Just like Butterfly! The dedication was for my husband & I! For instance he didn’t know there was a m/v for Butterfly! Just like this one I told him how amazing it sounds when you the ARMY sing back with “So show me” “I’ll show you”! Which is why he watched the live version at the end!

Magic Shop it's from a psychological book.It's a place created in your mind to free yourself when u go through something hard.So BTS takes inspiration by many books.They used phrases in their raps that they have tweeted or told us before.The lyrics are personal things they share with us plus the whole book.
Jungkook worked on the production of this song.The very rough parts,the sample? I don't remember the correct name.It's was his first step as a producer abd hopefully if he wants he can get more music out in the future.This was the fan song so it was special to him.
Joanna Rockenrollqueen the author of that book thanked the boys for using his book as inspiration. I really love this kind of interaction between them.

Magic Shop 😭 Thank you Joey. Amazing as always. If you can I strongly recommend ‘Tomorrow’ by BTS. Pied Piper and 2!3! are also songs that are for ARMY. 2!3! has a very emotional performance where BTS stops singing and lets ARMY continue it, without even the music playing. So when you react to that song, you also have to react to that performance. It's beautiful.

I believe what you’re talking about is the Brazil show, and BTS didn’t actually stop to let the crowd sing, the crowd continued and sang the chorus another time after the song ended as a fan project for them 💜 then BTS made a spot for the crowd to sing at the end of the song for the rest of the tour

as someone who was in the audience at Citifield honestly this song gives me chills and the video at the end brought tears to my eyes and I had goosebumps. There is nothing like being part of that chant and seeing how happy it makes them! This song will forever hold a special place in my heart

I was at Oakland as well as CitiField! Both concerts (like all of them) were amazing! As you said Magic Shop is truly a special song during concerts. Literally ARMY is incorporated into the song especially at end. BTS actually leaves the stage and ARMY keeps singing along at the end. It's just all 20k/40k of us and the background music. It's just magical.
i got insanely emotional when they san magic shop at the concert. BTS has helped me a lot in my journey with my mental health and all of us coming together and just singing and how genuine they were on stange during this song. idk it all made me so emotional. im grateful for them and this fandom tbh
OMG, I died when the butterflies flew in and Titanic came on... feels! And then you totally switched it up to Candy Shop... my god. That was an awesome throwback. I can tell we're the same generation. :) Love this song--it's so meaningful. I especially like Suga's lyrics and the ending "you gave me the best of me so you give you the best of you." That is BTS to me!

Candy Shop kept popping into my head, too. Magic Shop is such a beautiful song.
It’s not the only song that has a pure meaning, every song does tbh.
In fact, all of them participate in the song production process, it's just that RM and Suga are more involved in it as they have more experience in it. But, they are all working on improving their song production skills and have desires of releasing their own original work.
FYI, Magic Shop is actually not the first song BTS dedicated to the fans...I recommend checking out 2! 3! (Hoping for Better Days), which was their first official fan song, from the Wings album in 2016. This was not the first time Jungkook was involved in the production process of a BTS track. Back in 2015, Jungkook composed a track called Outro: Love is not Over...please react to it!

I don't know why but Jungkook's line : "Have a cup of tea look up into the galaxy" that one (ik its probably not the exact lyric but you get what I mean: the hook) That part made me go from hiding my emotions by watching bts vids to: ugly crying and silent sobbing. I lost my only friend yesterday. But now I know that I do have friends or people who care. People who love the ARMY they love us and that is BTS
I love how you explained the pre-hook and the build-up that comes with it while matching jin's soft take on it and jimin's intensity (from gentle to strong) but during the second pre-hook, jungkook started the soft version and jin did the strong and intense one before the hook. Jin's voice can be intense too whilst jimin's voice can be gentle too, in that register. 😊 overall, loved your review as always! 💜 you're awesome, joey! ✊🏼

Euphoria was not made for the WEBTOON, jungkook has said it's like the magic u feel when u fall in love, it can be a happy song. Don't ruin the experience for people who struggle with mental issues and find comfort in their songs.
@@VeelouC no offense, but i struggle with mental issues myself, dont just assume things please, besides i know the song wasnt made for the webtoon but also looking at the lyrics and the song itself and music videos those "theories" make a lot of sense, besides jungkook could've said that so he doesnt give anything away and both make sense, and actually people already had interpreted it the "sad" way when the song was newly released and had nothing really to do with the hyyh era.
@@zahray9170 there is never one meaning to a song and it's honestly sad that you're saying this. Euphoria is a song that helps me when I'm sad and feel depressed, I interpret it my own way and the fact that you're saying the 'correct' meaning is dying is fucked up.
Lov3 your reactions and your friend was right; you get cold chills or teary when you are at a concert. It’s difficult to explain, but the artistry just gets all mixed up with the sincerity and the energy from the crowd responding was truly a life-changing event for me. It was during this song that I came to believe 100% that I matter not just as an ARMY but as a person.

This is an amazing song from them. I listen to it when ever I'm feeling lonely or done. I feel like they are my friends and will silently listen to all of my problems and try to comfort me. Another song that I love from them is "Tomorrow". The song is very motivating.
If you want the better audio quality of crowd singing/chanting back to magic shop live, you need to find the one at Seoul instead. There's this one fancam that has clear audio and you can hear the entire crowd singing back. It gave me chills for that one

So basically all the grey coloured lyrics in the video are the parts Army sing, making this song even more special ☺️

I don't know what it is about this song that just captures me and holds me hostage. Just the music alone (including voices, but not knowing lyrics) moved me to tears the first time I heard it...and it still threatens whenever I hear it to this day. The only way I know how to describe it is that if my heart could have written a song, this is one. And it knew it as soon as it heard it. But you bring in the lyrics and I'm done. DONE! I was at the October 3rd concert in Chicago, and YES. To be swimming in a sea of purple, saturated with the music coming at you, eyes and heart full of these men, singing with and back to them...is definitely a banner moment in life. And I've lived long enough to have a few.

FYI - please be careful when saying that other members do things better than Jin. There is a fairly large part of this fandom that doesn’t credit Jin for what he can do so when they hear someone confirm their (anti)biased views - they run with it. Even today there are those that think Jin should not be part of BTS because they say he has no talent.
I personally think each of the vocalists are just different in how they sound and not any one being better.
I really hate when people compare members-I almost didn't watch the rest of the video. I understand people are entitled to an opinion but it's like comparing my children-I just can't/won't do it.
Honestly, being a part of the chant in the concert crowd with the Army bombs and the movement... I didn't know anyone in that arena but in that moment, we were a family. The song is a great gift to Army and I really loved your review of it! 💜

You should check it out live. It's an experience. I cried when I saw it in concert in Citi Field and it was insane. There's a clip of fans chanting from outside the stadium that a mom took and it's crazy because you can clearly hear the fan chants. Whereas in the stadium itself it's hard to hear exactly how loud everyone was.
