Yeah back when I started watching competitive smash around the release of smash 4 I didn't have a main till I seen him destroy with the people champ. I've been playing falcon since and I love it! He's so flashy and fun to play especially if you get creative.
I'm really good at wall jump stomps and wall jump knees. Also soft knee off stage is the silent killer. No one expects it when it comes out lol and the heel the hell, aka the up tilt, destroys those high recoveries.

Same here, was even thinking of switching him with Kirby as a main now. Watching and learning from Fatalitys playstyle made Falcon 10x more fun
Smash would be a lot better if a lot more people learned Captain Falcon, Fox, Falco, etc..

Shulk is so broken yet so underrated. It's so sad (almost) no one knows how to use him. That range, those monado arts... It's a monster!
He's good but not broken he has a shitty recovery and quite easy to edge guard
As someone who started using Shulk seriously a few weeks ago, I am so happy to see this video. Love Nicko and Kome's Shulk and have been using the black-and-white color palette too since my last name is Panda haha. Love the content Fatality. You've been one of my favorite RUclipsrs in the last couple months
31:19 Nicko regrabs and gets his invincibility back. Shulk players, you have some explaining to do
he went over the ledge and slid back off of it so it counts as touching the ground
also, other characters can do this with recoveries that don't snap to ledge or by holding down, but it's really finicky and not worth trying for since you may just SD or put yourself in a bad spot if you end up landing on stage in front of somebody
Shulk cheats, that's why.

Fatality lost to every time Nicko chased him low every time he was offstage. At 28:00 Fatality finally punishes him hard for chasing him low and this, to me, secured Fatality's 10 game victory.This scared Nicko back into defense and much more stage oriented playing instead of going offstage for the kills. Fatality, you might need to recover high and horizontally as mix ups more often. But great games! You pulled off an amazing win and you stand at the top of all Smash playing! You always can pull out the magic in this game! Thanks for the entertaining content! Much love dude!

And that's why Fatality is so good. He's so knowledgable on his character and skilled enough to play optimally, so people expect safer play. And then he consistently styles because that's who he is, and it catches people off guard, like Leo in their FT10.

I’m not trying to john for Nicko but we gotta take into account that Nicko lives in SoCal and Shulk is difficult to play on wifi as it is. He did super well with the hand he was dealt tho.
I mean you can john for Nicko and Shulk but Falcon is also a difficult character to play online.
Niccolo Vanible Can you explain how? Falcon has good true combos and frame data, as well as moves that are difficult to punish with input lag. On the other hand, Shulk is a string based character with slow startup on all his moves. In order to properly utilize the arts you have to outplay your opponent or else they’ll be used against you, which is naturally more difficult on wifi. On top of this, input lag combined with his startup makes it even more difficult to do anything on reaction, and Shulk doesn’t have many true combos to fall back on to maintain the advantage state when he can’t properly react to his opponent’s options. None of the good Shulk mains enter wifi tournaments because their character is borderline unplayable on wifi, and the only notable Wifi Shulk recently dropped the character for Robin because he couldn’t handle playing the character anymore online. There’s no way that Falcon is anywhere near as difficult as Shulk on wifi.

By the way, raptor boost confirms into knee at mid to early high percents, even if it doesn't register as a combo on the combo counter, but if you're fast enough it's a true combo.
